Chris, you are an absolute star! Couldn't have imagined myself racing so soon after an injury but that's just me. Completely enjoyed your style of just enjoying riding a bicycle. That's the best style in my book!
Bravo Chris. Q: would you consider trying the red shift suspension stem? Would take a lot of impact pressure off of your wrist… I have one fitted to my Rondo Ruut CF2 and it is my favorite bit of kit.
Yeah I’ve been really tempted to get one and try it out actually. I have at home one of the fox suspension gravel forks but didn’t fit it to this bike as I’m a tad worried it’ll affect the geometry. Th enve bars are also surprisingly good in terms of flex as well so they help a lot but yeah would be interested in trying one
Bits falling off does seem to be a feature this year. I reckon you made the best of it though, lovely weather, beautiful scenery and good company. Just needed more dogs and it would have been a perfect ride in the country. Thanks very much, I enjoyed that. Looking forward to the next one.
Nice ride...it had everything...including a nasty mechanical. 😜 Looks like a killer course. Question: in this sort of gravel event, do most riders use MTB shoes/SPD cleats?
Sorry to hear about the mechanical - setbacks like that are a drag. Still, you seem to have had a nice time and the views look stunning :) Cycling is amazing!
I designed the course - thank you so much for the compliments and thanks so much for keeping that smile. See you for Raiders Gravel.
Awesome work designing that course too then! Unfortunately I can’t make Raiders this year. Maybe next!

Thank you! It was good to just get back into the swing of things to be honest with you
Sometimes adversity adds to the experience thanks to your Mech you got to enjoy the beauty of the area❤
So true!
Cheers for the tow home Chris!
Enjoyed it!
Grand day out there Chris, chapeau to you and fellow cyclists 👏 and as you say Chris.......until the next one !
🙌
Have a great weekend Chris ! 🍻@ChrisHallRides
A dog? In a bike race? 13:50
Always good to see Lawrence!
😂 a very good dog too
@@ChrisHallRides a very good boi!
great to see you out and about on your bike so soon after your crash.
✌️
Thank you Chris. What a beautiful day out.
Yes it was
There's nothing quite like a mechanical-induced chilled bike ride -- you're just going to _enjoy_ yourself dammit, like it or not!!
Hahaha yeah exactly!
Super om weer te zien op gravelbike
Bedankt!

That looks like a lot of fun. Stunning scenery. I'm tempted to give Scotland a try but not on gravel.
Scotland is gorgeous. Both road and gravel
loving the chill aproach, looks like a blast!
Was great fun for sure!

Thanks so much for watching! I’ll aim for more dogs in the next one haha
Beautiful jersey ❤
I think so too! Happy to have done this design for the team!
A comment, and a sub. Nice bloke.
Thank you! 👍

yep most riders will be using some sort of mtb system

Thanks! These things happen, like you say I still made the most of it and had a great day out!
Are we on for a frontier 300 weather report too?
Yep!
Should have done it singlespeed bro. Peace man ✌🏻
hahaha
Sack your mechanic....😂....8000 odd kms of mostly off road, only time my front mech moved was when i crashed...no Loctite anywhere on my bikes...
No thanks
