wow, musica come polinomio... poi calcolo combinatorio :) , grande William.. credo che nei prossimi giorni studiero' attentamente la tua versione in A ... gli accordi non sono difficili.... la musica è logica :) . grazie
Hi to all...this is a complex song and has been a challenging tutorial. Please let me know is you spot significant errors. A little quiz for you...I have highlighted some shapes on the visual map using a black thick outline. What is common to those particular shapes I have highlighted? Please leave your answer in the comments.
Dear William, thanks (again) for a great tutorial which has been for me an absolute time-saver as I needed to learn and perform this tune within days! There is one small question: could it be that in the visual map the chord sequence in Verse 3 should be "A2 B A1 B A1 A2" instead of "A2 B A1 C A1 A2" (B instead of C)? Is the black thick outline in indication of the small break? Again my sincere gratitude for all you bringing to youtube!!!
I believe that's the one I used, but I will need to double check that...however, I have added in the map the first lyrics for each verse to avoid any confusion...
Thank you Thomas. Pleased that the count tallies. Sorry I didn't respond earlier but I have been busy with hospital appointments before surgery next week. I hope I can publish something in the coming week.
So João Gilberto's version is simpler? I only notice two chord progressions in it. Also they say he tuned his guitar a half step low. So he plays it with B shapes, rather than Bb as in the original or A in yours?
I'll check that version out. I am not surprised that he may have simplified the chords. Any song that requires a visual map will pose problems in a live performance especially when the lyrics are very complex too. Not unusual to tune guitar down I guess. Some people like the timbre.
Thank you! I listened to it again and I do notice a third progression now. Or maybe two-and-a-half! I read that he is tuned low for that whole album, the beautiful self-titled "white album" from 1973. Which means some of his chords on "E Preciso Perdoar" are different from the way you teach it, too. @@WilliamSaadGuitar
Lovely song, Tito. I have added it to the list. I should be able to slip it in soon. Thank you for the tip. In the meantime, you might appreciate Meu Mundo É Hoje...similar harmonies...
Christian 👏
Thank you Christian. I am Franco-Lebanese and lived in France for 26 years before moving to the UK 15 years ago. I can indeed advise you on beginners pieces. Samba de Bençao is beautiful and one of the easiest songs...maybe too easy? I would advise Diz Pra Ela which includes a chord diagram. Please tell me what you think of these 2 pieces and their difficulty level for you and I will advise you further.
William c’est encore moi désolé ☺️ je voulais vous dire que j’aime beaucoup Pat Metheny si jamais vous feriez un morceau de cette artiste avec diagrammes on ne sais jamais. Bonne soirée 🙏🏻
Hi Christian, I have two pieces by Pat Metheny, unfortunately without chord diagrams. Map of the world and Minuano. Minuano chords are not really difficult. Maybe you can pick them up by sight?
An absolute master piece... this visual map, thank you so much!
Thank you so much. I am so pleased that you like it! Please check out the rest of the channel and tell your friends if you like it!
@@WilliamSaadGuitar Yeah! Thanks! How do you recommend to play the rhytm? I can watch some videos and everyone's play different this rhytm haha

Merci beaucoup William from France 👍🏻❤️ les eaux de Mars . Georges Moustaki 😉

It is the same 125 measures
I’ll check it out, Thomas…thank you. Have you checked out Jobim’s Little Bird?

I have corresponded by email with Joao Leao
He is not related to Nara Leao
thanks... much smoother easier 🙏
Does your map match one particular version such as Elis and Tom 1974?
I believe that's the one I used, but I will need to double check that...however, I have added in the map the first lyrics for each verse to avoid any confusion...
@@WilliamSaadGuitar thank you
I counted measures
I got 124 in your map
125 in Elis &Tom version
There is one last measure with no chord
Perfect!
