Few years back I remember someone saying they fitted RG Colorado body mounts with no modification. Apparently much bigger and last longer. Might be worth a look.

Yeah, its a common change. I'm not sure that more rigid, and lasting longer are better though, and if there ever was a problem, you're asking for trouble to get any warranty approved. I guess you want the stresses to be absorbed by the body mounts, not passed through to the body.
Who knows though, but for now, we'll stick with the Isuzu ones

13 - 14L/100km towing our 2.3 tonne Hybrid at 90km/h, and about 10 - 12 unloaded. 10k services and oil changes, and we change the trans fluid every 40k to keep it happy

Good video mate, we have a 2015 mux pushing 300km on it now and then only really started having issues now. ( Other than inner guards at 180km). I'm still happy with the vehicle and have spent the money to keep it going including new injectors (4k 😢). Can't really afford to upgrade in this economy the prices are crazy. I hope the rest of your trip is hassle free!

Cheers mate. Good to hear you've had a good run from the MUX. I was wondering at what point our Dmax would be most economical to move on.
You either keep it through the period where it needs work and flog it off at 300k +, or sell it before 180km, I guess.
When did you do the injectors?
I think the new and used car prices are going to tank soon.
      Thanks for the well wishes

Fuel Filter and Catch Can Recommended? We have a 22 Dmax still under warranty.

I'd absolutely fit a pre filter. The damage one bad batch of fuel can do is astronomical. As for the catch can, that depends on how long you want to keep the vehicle, and who you believe.
If it's a long term investment I reckon they're a good idea (Provent 200). If you're getting rid of it after 5 years or so it won't really matter, or you just go down the path of doing regular manifold cleans (every 100 - 150k or so).

I have a 2019, there is a fuel filter in mine. I imagine yours has one too

@@rickyp4008 Yeah, they run a fine factory filter, but its good practice to run a pre filter to remove any water/larger particles and to give you early indication of the water

@@rickyp4008 prefilter is a lot finer?
