Looks nice. I just bought a Drive R and I like it a lot. Used to shoot my old bow at 60lbs. When I first was shooting the drive I didnt know It was maxed out and 70lbs, draws really nice. So its still at 70 and I plan on keeping it that way, great bow for the money cant wait to practice with it.
I have a Mathews Solocam probably from around 2006 I think? Went to a tournament and couldn't believe how slow people were shooting compared to me. I was only 18 or 19 in 2006. Men in their 40's were only shooting 230-250fps. I was shooting exactly 294 with my Matthews at 75lbs. I love my Mathews because it's small, not nearly as tall as the PSE but I guess you have to lose some to gain some. Would like to get that bow soon.
If you were shooting the Full Throttle at 65#s, you would be well over 300FPS with an arrow that's under 400 grains. Technology has improved quite a bit from 2006. Even Matthews is moving away from solo cam as they are slower. Met a guy at the outdoor range yesterday who was shooting the new Matthews Vertex. Sweet bow but his whole set-up cost him $2500. For tournament shooting, comfort is the name of the game so there is no need to shoot the higher poundage so you will see the speeds much lower. If you're interested in the PSE Full Throttle, watch eBay and you can probably pick up a good used one int he $400-$600 range. Remember it is draw length specific so you need to buy only the bow that fits your specific draw length. Thanks for watcing Michael and all the best to you.
I catch some of those good deals on eBay and Amazon for discontinued models on bows. Brand new in the box with manufacturer's warranty but at half the MSRP. You can't beat those deals.
Lane Bane The evolve looks very sweet! I'm highly interested in that but I'll have to wait as well. I just got an incredible deal on Bow Madness 34 2016 model for $400! That was brand new in the box! Of course I'm very impressed with this bow. I'm still in the process of tuning it in and so far, the best bow I have ever owned!
Lane Bane I have shot Hoyt, Mathews, and a few others. I never touched a PSE until this year when I found an incredible deal on a PSE Surge on eBay. My son outgrew his bow and needed one and that was the perfect bow for him. I was impressed with the bow. The strings were a bit loud but I put some dampeners on them. But that really got me looking into PSE bows. And as you already know, they make some of the best bows out there without the heavy price tag. Moving up to the Bow Madness was no mistake! Now I just need to catch a Full Throttle or Evolve on sale!
Kdawg C I understand. Matthews is a great bow but it's way overpriced. Matthews restricts the sale of their bows so much that it keeps the price way up which probably works for their business model but hurts budget hunters like you and I. Don't know about Hoyt because I've never been interested in the Hoyt. They've always been too slow for me until just recently but I'm still not interested.
When I practice at 80 yards I will sometimes place the camera at about 60 yards pointing towards the target and you can definitely hear the whistling buzzing sound coming at the target. It’s there before you know it. Thanks for watching and all the best to you.
Yes and yes. I was hunting with it the last two days for axis deer. If you like speed and you have some experience with a bow this would be one to check out. It’s probably not the best bow for hunting out of a tree stand Or in a tight tent blind as the axle to axle is 33 1/4 inch But at present it is my only bow and I do like it very much. The DNA is still a fast bow but not as fast as the FT. The advantage IMO would be the DNA is a little more forgiving and a little less aggressive draw cycle. The FT is a little clumsy in a tree stand while the DNA is comfortable. The FT is a little too tall for a blind while the DNA fits well. I’ve used both bows in those situations. The FT would have the advantage at spot and stalk or in situations where you do not have to worry about tight positions or low clearance. Thanks for watching Spanky and all the best to you.

For sure, this video's more than a few years old. If you want to find great deals on PSE bows, you can usually find a year or 2 old pro line models on eBay for about 1/2 price or better. I have bought several like that. However, PSE has sold and I'm not sure who is running now. They may have stopped letting pro shops sell new bows on eBay. Thanks for watching Wayne.

I have a PSE full throttle 70 lb I just put a new string on it made by gas bow strings I can't wait to see how fast I'm shooting

Also when you get this bro I would suggest you get the long draw stops. It’s much more comfortable to shoot with the wider Valley at full draw.

Shorten your draw length about a half inch and you'll be more comfortable with that jump
