    Both machines look like they would be perfect in any home setting . I have the Rocket which I’ve had for 2.5 years for which it has performed flawlessly. Once you get your grinder working in the correct manner the coffee goes to a new level .

    Knowing how hot e61 runs, flushing for a few seconds before pulling the shot is a must

    Do you really think you can credibly critique your own machine?

    I love my appartamento
    Your comparison is valid. Rocket is smaller but I’m very happy with mine, the copper circles are mesmerizing

    Hello. Pat commented that the Bello gets a little hotter( around 3:45 time stamp). Does that mean the Bello, the machine itself, is hotter or it takes longer to flush before brewing?? I can't decide which one to buy...

    Thanks for the comparison!
    Would’ve liked to have seen the number of grams out and the time of each shot.

    I purchased the rocket apartmento from you about a year and a half ago and I absolutely love it. I do have a question though, when you were pulling the shot in the apartmento, the pressure gauge was quite low. My gauge shows the green as .9 to 1.4 bar, and it usually pulls a shot about 1.0 far. Your machine showed only .6 bar, that seems awfully low doesn’t it?

      I could be wrong but I thinks its only for the steamer, and not the brew group...

  • @michaelsmith6094

    It looked like the RA had way better steam pressure?

    I just bought the Bello. I always like the Rocket E61 machines and would have bought the Appartamento if the Bello had not come out. I think that the Appartamento is a great machine, but with the additional gauge and the better price, I think that the Bello is "the Appartamento Killer".

  • @psalmreader909

    I've seen ppl use the Appartamento for pop up business, I mean they didn't get heavy traffic. 6 shots back to back, I have one and I can pull back to back for almost 10 shots then i let it sit for refile about 1 minute.

    “A little hotter”? So, need a longer flush and maybe slightly more ability to pull back to back shots and hold a stable temp?

    Build quality, components and cosmetics basically exactly the same , both made in Italy..... However , The Diletta $200-$300 cheaper in in cost , dual pressure gauges , larger reservoir , size difference not even worth mentioning , The choice is clear , pay extra for the Rocket name or buy the same better machine cheeper ...

    Nice review - I however think I would rather stick with my Ascaso Machine - the features & performance on the Ascaso is a better fit for me.

    Hi! I imagine that Diletta is not a brand new brand. Can you please advice what is it based on (what brand in Italy)? Thank you

    • @maycatyuiop
      @maycatyuiop หลายเดือนก่อน

      Its made by quickmill a reputable Italian brand with design input from SCG

    I still can’t decide ! I bought a Nespresso over 10 years ago using the pods. These two machines are obviously more impressive. I like the rugged machine look. I also like the Breville model priced at $1200 plus . Can’t decide if I want a machine with the grinder already attached or not . Or get a grinder separately. I’m not keen on the plastic machines that are in the store …. They look cheaply made and not very attractive.

    to say that the knobs are better on the diletta vs the rocket because they're more grippy is a stretch... feels pretty obvious theres a bias towards one machine (diletta) given that it's a private label for scg

    if the bello seems to have the slight edge in most of the comparison categories, why is it $200 less than the appartamento? (bello current=$1700, appartamento=$1900)

    • @sotitofanschop
      @sotitofanschop 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Diletta is their in house brand. I’m surprised at the lack of disclosure. They should start every review with that, else the bias is real.

    • @dannyo3317

      @sotitofanschop : I have the Bello. After seeing the comparison, I would still buy the Bello.

    Just get a 600 dollar breville dual boiler. Too expensive without pid and single boil

    • @IanLandesman
      @IanLandesman 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Where can you get a breville dual boiler for only $600??? Even if it's refurb I would buy that! I tried to find, and either you got a heck of a sale deal or you're confusing a lower machine they have? Thanks!

    • @andrewporretta6939
      @andrewporretta6939 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In the US you're only getting a Breville Dual Boiler at that price used. $600 is just a bit more than a third of the retail price.
