- Germany has joined the likes of the U.S., UK and Portugal in piloting a 4-day work week. The trial is going to last six months. It will include hundreds of employees across 45 participating companies.

Many years ago this sort of four-day work weak went on trial in Germany and it was a success.Productivity went up but it created another problem of "how to spend extra work-free days?
