Which would you add to your home gym?
These DIY reaction videos are great. Gym storage/organization would be a good topic.
I love it. Great idea. I’ll add it to my list
I've been using my Grandma's old walker for bodyweight and weighted dips. just remove the front 2 wheels. Its held strong even using it twice a week for the last 3 years and still going. Im 5'6" and 180lbs so maybe not for everyone. the heaviest I was able to do was 70lbs with the dip belt based on my own strength limits. Mine is rated for 300lbs. not sure how much added weight i would do but for body weight dips its perfect. great if you live in a small apartment. super light and folds away quick just tuck it under the couch. also good to have around for balance and mobility training stuff too.
That is amazing. Great idea
Thank You for showing my dip station idea in Your video 💪🙂 I got one more video with dip station on my channel, also rack mounted. Have a nice day to everyone and greetings from Poland🇵🇱
Nice work friend! I will check out your other dip station as well!
Thanks as always for doing what you do for the home gym community
We’re all stronger together! Thanks for everything you do bro.
Love these videos man! I'm super curious to see some inspiration for DIY chest supported row machines. Keep up the great content!
Yes, I’ll definitely be working on that in the near future!
Well done bro thanks for the props on my video. I have more cool builds on the way
Awesome! Good to know, I am looking forward to seeing your upcoming builds!
Cable Dips: Using a high pulley (or cable pull-down machine) I attached a 36" long 3/4" i.d. iron pipe from Home Depot. Drilled (2) holes in pipe 28" apart. Put an Eye bolt in each hole. (I would think you could also use (2) short Tiedown Straps (instead to drilling (2) holes in pull-down bar and inserting Eye-bolts). I then attached a 30" long chain (or use a short strap) into each eye-bolt. (very easy to make minor adjustments to length of chain - just count links. I then attached a cable attachment handle to the end of each chain. In my case being 5'10" tall, the total distance from the iron pipe to the bottom of each handle is 37". Stand under the bar, one hand on each handle at each side of your body at the top starting position, then simple push each handle down. (You must make sure that there is enough distance on the chains so that when in the full down position, the Top Bar does not hit your head. (Instead of standing under the Top Bar, you could also sit on a bench and push down).
I think this is very good method for doing Dips with less than bodyweight weights. If weight on loading pine at other end of cable attachment is getting close to bodyweight, just wear a Dipbelt and add additional weight to your body.
this sounds great! do you have any videos or photos demonstrating?
Back when I was a kid I would do dips on the kitchen counter. 😅
Dang bro that’s old school
Great video mate! You've been such an inspiration to me too🙏😊
Much appreciated brother
The pvc one is best imho. If the pVc was the grey schedule 80 it would be even stronger.
Excellent video, as always. I'm going to check out all of the channels mentioned. Was my channel's build the only iso-lateral one? Not sure. I was trying to get 182 fitness stations into a 182 square foot garage, so building iso-lateral versions of each machine basically doubled the count.
Yep, you were the only isolateral build. Super cool idea though. Thanks for watching and for the support. I'll be keeping an eye on your channel as well.
9:00 PowerTec has a very well-liked dip-attachment for their bench!
Good to know! Thanks for chiming in.
Just discovered your channel.Great stuff thanks for sharing.
Welcome! Glad you enjoy the silly stuff I do!
Dig the energy and this video is super helpful
Awesome! Thanks bro! I’ve got a whole list of these types of videos in the works.
Excelente video hermano, has más videos reaccionando a "homemade "
Gracias, me alegro de que te guste. Estaré haciendo muchos de estos tipos de videos
Great channel! Is there a reason I don't see backyard chin and dip stations made with chain link fence posts? I pass a fence on walks that is high enough that I could do chins on without bending my legs. Got me thinking. Fences always seemed solid when I"'ve climbed them, unless it was an old rusty POS. I have dip bars inside. It'd be cool to have a chinup bar and full parellel bars outside.
It’s worth a shot!
@@KaizenDIYGym That's what I'm thinking.
New subscriber, love your channel man!
Hey, thank you so much!
This is crazy, ppl are really super creative!
(But obviously a lot of them don't know how to dip correctly 😉)
Being creative and having proper form aren’t mutually exclusive. People call out my form all the time but I’m happy as long as I can keep moving.
@@KaizenDIYGym The latter is the problem. I've been training for nearly 30 years now and - of course - didn't care about proper form too much when I was younger. Just like you said. My bones and joints are reminding me pretty often of that nowadays. I can't help to say: Good form is crucial for being able to do this sport on the long run. The day will come, when your pain doesn't disappear like he used to. That said, I like your videos and your attitude, keep on going man.
$300 for the Titan Seated Dip which doesn't take up a lot of floor space seems like a no brainer.
Thanks for the info 👍
glad you liked it!
Wow. This one at 07:07 is great. Is there any video on how to build one? (Dont have IG)
Unfortunately, that was just a one off. He didn’t get footage of the build process
🥇
Wow! Amazingly fast comment!
^First.
Speaking of your ironmaster comment. Doesn't powertec sell a dip machine attachment for their bench or am I making that up?
I haven’t seen it but now that you mention it, the Ironmaster bench does have an attachment for body weight dips. Wouldn’t surprise me if Powertec did as well.
You sound exactly like Mysticat
Best compliment all day!
Support iz da
Thanks bro!
Why can't the rack manufacturers make rack mounted lever attachments for dips and pendulum squats? They are simple machines consisting of only a lever arm pinned to the rack, handles or pads, and a weight plate horn. We shouldn't have to invent these ourselves.
I agree. If you haven’t already, check out Bulletproof Fitness. They’re doing some really innovative things with equipment
I love you missed you so much babe ❤❤you never called me
Right back at ya
Or rings
There’s no shortage of options
Dips work the shoulders more then chest and triceps it's not a good chest exercise injury prone exercise for shoulders you never have to do them to build any muscle I just mentioned a waste of time and energy
Ok cool. Thanks for sharing.
HATE TO SAY IT BUT.
THE GIRLY/BOY'S LOOKS THE MOST PRACTICAL.
Girly boys have all the best ideas
@@KaizenDIYGym I WOULD NOT SAY THAT AT ALL!
BUT PEOPLE WHO HAVE LESS USUALLY HAVE TO LEARN TO DO MORE WITH WHAT LITTLE THEY HAVE.
I COMMEND THEM FOR THAT.
