- Hey guys!
Today we watched the first episode of #KINGDOM and uploaded our reaction to the show and the performances. We really look forward to future performances by every group and are excited for a fierce (but hopefully fair) competition. Stay tuned for our upcoming reactions to kingdom ~

Honestly, music "substance" wise, iKon and BTOB are at the top. The younger groups, however, give bolder performances. It's interesting how things would turn out.

@@veritas5287 Saying there's more substance to older group's music is pretty insulting to the younger groups, especially to the ones who write their own stuff and put a lot of themselves in it (like, say, Stray Kids).
@@ashurasama C'mmon effort is given by every group. Don't assume 'music evaluation' as invalidating efforts. (iKON writes almost all their songs too and even produces them. You can't deny why the younger groups idolize them and bop to their songs.) Don't argue with me about your personal feelings.
felix voice is deeper than what he showed in this performance
In stray Kids the beginning of the song Mirho.. the deep voice.. yeah that is Felix and that is indeed his real voice.. he can change his voice to sound both very deep and very high tenor and when he talks in Aegyo he can talk like a 2 year old baby with a high voice

I'm a Stay (Stray Kids stan) and I've always heard the group "Ikon" being mentioned and this show actually pushed me to get more into them and stan them as well! Your reactions are cute too so I'm looking forward to more of your reactions! :) (I also hope maybe you'll check out some of the content from the other groups)

All these groups work so hard and obviously are passionate, it makes the ranking part hard for me to watch bc I just want to root for them all. However, we do get increasingly impressive performances out of their competition and I know all the idols are making friends in each other from what we’ve seen behind the scenes and such! I hope you guys enjoy the rest of Kingdom! :)

Ikonics have strong hearts, we always have this emotions every survival shows. Just like what Junhoe said we get beat up but it makes as stronger and fight more💪🤘🙏

LMAO your guys reaction when that short clip of WIN: Who is Next ? was shown is similar to mine. I blocked my ears and refused to believe that event ever happened but then I'm glad how it turned out in a way, otherwise we wouldn't have gotten our precious Maknae on top Chanwoo the year after

I'm a Stray Kid and Ateez fan, and I'm looking forward to learning more about the other groups. I really enjoyed all of the performances from this first episode.
This episode was actually filmed at the end of February, and it was available to watch under a pay wall and following the performance there was voting for a week and that's how they had results already.
20:51 is SF9 Yoo Taeyang and he is the main dancer & Choreographer. He is such an underrated dancer. He has a his own dance videos on SF9 youtube channel called TY dance.

Being objective I think "Stray Kids" did better; they used props, makeup, stunts, lights, and even sparks! also his song was strong, with good rap and EDM. Perfect

I’ve been rewatching Kingdom stages and found your reaction.
I came into Kingdom not really a full fan of any of the groups and discovered so many new groups. In hindsight I still love the interactions but have come to hate how MNET ran the show.
Stages were amazing though and I miss them.

I have to say that for these kinds of performances the bolder ones with more creativity and going way out of the ordinary will win, there’s no other possible way. Not sure if you have watched the next episode yet so I won’t spoil it, but for me I love all the groups so I’m trying to pick my favorite performances based on the performance itself and not the group. That’s why on my personal list I put Stray Kids at the top closely followed by The Boyz, regardless of the actual result. I feel like I’d have to put SF9 and Ikon at the bottom solely because their performances weren’t as creative and unique as the other groups, it seemed more like a regular concert style stage and after the other ones they seemed lacking, at least in my opinion. I really enjoyed all the stages though.
Tbz and skz are known for always putting on a huge insane show so I’m looking forward to how the other groups will try and go even more above and beyond, episode two only had 3 performances but I can tell you that ikon stepped it up so much! Glad you guys are reacting to this :)
yeah we can see your point, stray kids and the boyz performance are truly next level and they feel kind of like a musical or something 🤩 but we think these kind of performances wouldn't suit iKON's style 🤔 that's the cool thing about Kingdom, seeing different performances with different styles 😍
@@jibmate1806 for sure! I really enjoyed what they did for the second episode, they put a unique spin on their songs and I liked the remixes a lot. Kingdom is really making me want to get more into their music!

It's okay we do have different taste. They all did well in their introduction performance. I only stan BTOB. Yeah that's BTOB class.
Kinda biased but not my fave performance is BTOB and iKON. But overall they did well the 6 participants.

Okay kids. Enough is enough. Everyone has their subjective views as depicted in this comment section. I must enunciate however, that it is extremely important to be respectful of other groups. Please do not allow your overt and covert biases to divert you from appreciating other groups. In your support for your ultimate group, be objective. I do not stan Ikon at all however, i enjoyed their stages immensely and i believe they should have been way higher in the ranking. To all you hardcore stans who have allowed your love for your ultimate group to make you hate on other groups, try being rational for a change.
Only two groups sang live and they were ateez and btob
It's really hard to sing while dancing in the case of ateez so hats off to them
And it's really hard to harmonize really well in case of btob so hats off to them as well
skz rappers were live too plus vocalists seungmin and i.n? i think i hear them, they had strong backing vocals because they were jumping all round and i think felix's mic wasn't working
