I was a new Stay during Kingdom and saw all the performances, but a couple months AFTER Kingdom, I also became an Atiny. I went back and watched Ateez's individual stages, and completely forgot about the Mayfly stage until I rewatched it one day for fun only to actually truly notice all the Ateez members for the first time AND I WAS ON THE FLOOR DYING AND DROLLING AND ABSOLUTELY SHOOK. I suddenly remembered that when I saw it for the first time, I loved the energy and I was really drawn to the guy who danced with Felix who is San WHO HAPPENS TO BE MY ATEEZ BIAS.
San is my bias too 😍😍😍 at their concert last night he blew a kiss at me during soundcheck while I was front row - I died 💀 if you ever have a chance to see them live, DO IT. I always heard how they're more handsome in person and never believed it because how is that possible?? But it's TRUE 😍

Mayfly is really just smth different. Ateez and skz, imo some of the best 4th gen boy groups that I know of rn in terms of performances with THE btob…this is the definition of talent. The world wasn’t ready 😭😭
Just some info on btob! Btob is a 6 member group (formerly 7) there are 4 vocalists and 2 rappers. Btob's forte is ballad. Every member can literally rap and sing despite the positions they play. In kingdom, btob came in as "BTOB 4U" which is the older members form the unit as the younger members are serving military. "Melody" is the fans name. [I haven't been able to keep up with ilhoon's situation yet(rapper) and I apologise for that.] Although there are only 6 members left, melodies would stay ot7. 7 rappers, 7 singers

During the third stage of Kingdom, they did a serious of collab performances. There's the Mayfly unit that you see here, and the It's One unit (iKON, SF9, and The Boyz). The two teams then put together their own rap, dance and vocal units from the members of the three groups and went head to head with each other. All the stages were amazing, and it was really fun to see the behind the scenes and all the groups interacting together as well. This dance unit chose to do a cover of EXO's wolf, while the other unit just had one member from each group and did a very conceptional performance in which they each represented different sides of the same king as his mental state deteriorates. They were free to come up with whatever type of performance they wanted to. All the groups really enjoyed being able to work together, get to know each other, and see what the other team came up with, 'cause it was always something quite different from their own performance. It was really sweet to watch everyone cheering for each other and making life-long friends.
I freaking love btob 😭 😭 😭 I wish there are more reactions to them, they’re definitely underrated. They’re one of the best I’ve heard ever vocally, the vocal line is phenomenon. This was a cover song Wolf by EXO. Since this was the dance collaboration it was a nice surprise they sang the song too. One of my favorite performances of Kingdom. Peniel was the only BtoB member on this performance, Lee Know, Feliz, and IN were the only stray kids and 5 members of Ateez (Yeosang, Yunho, Wooyoung, San, SeongHwa), , which made this the biggest collaboration group of all the collaboration performances.
This performance was absolutely wonderful !! They all worked so hard and so well together. In the kingdom behind episode (mayfly units) you can see how lee know nailing every moves and being a great teacher to IN :))

San climbing up a human rock wall is insane! Everybody has to have strong and stable abs. Felix jumping onto San's upper thighs was also insane! It takes a lot of practice and precision to land perfectly. From the footage, Felix did land perfectly (San was smiling, too).
