I saw Chief Delorme on a CBC reportage with Rosemary Barton about the 751 gravesites that had their headstones removed by the Catholic Church in @ 1960. Unfortunately, the comment section was turned off on the CBC site. So, I will comment here instead. I was so impressed by how this Chief speaks. I did, as did another Commentator did below, google his name. I have watched this and again, impressed. My one thought, Chief Delorme, don't go for Governor General, go for Prime Minister. For all of Canada, and for all Indigenous People. We need heart, intelligence and clear thinking that you have. Your voice is a voice the world needs, for that matter. As for Indigenous people, "If you can't see it, you can't be it." It is important to see it. I am inspired by your words. Thank you!
I saw you on TV today and I was so impressed with how you're approaching the terrible revations about Marieval Residential School, that i decided to Google your name. I'm glad I did because it led me to this great Ted Talk that you did. It was wonderful to watch. You represent the people of Cowessess First Nation very well and am certain you are a fine Chief. I know that you're the right man to lead them through these troubled times. Thank you.
Hey Cadmus, thanks for sharing. Luv your sense of humor & way of storytelling. You have the gift of gab & happy u share it!! I am sharing this on my pages. Happy Easter!!
A great presentation full of humour. I agree wholeheartedly with his final thought. If we treat each other with love, kindness, and understanding with no judgment, the world would be a better place.
Great talk and it’s important to imbibe discipline in First Nations youths. It is the key to success. Learn from Singapore and how we pulled a country from the third world to first in one generation
I am a public speaker and i speak on the 60’s Scoop bc I was stolen from my family as a small child. I am also a recording artist, painter, poet and budding author...how can I get on TedX I love the speakers!
Now it's 2022, and since the human has killed off wildlife's land, rescues are openning up. Maybe human and animal will once again talk to each other...
