Beautiful Chevelle. This car brings back a lot of memories. I bought a used 64 Chevelle 2 dr hdtp in early 1970, 6 cylinder stick. Six months later the Chevelle was sporting a slightly modified 68 302 Z28 motor, Pontiac Muncie 4 speed and a 66 GTO posi rear with 3.90 gears. installed suspension upgrades and interior mods. Car was originally silver, painted 68 Caddy Nottingham [emerald] green. Car was a lot of fun on the street, surprised a lot of drivers. Drove the car for 10 years and sold it. I wished I had kept it.

Nice build for sure, What size rear tires and I assume you had to mini tub it? If so, is it just a matter of cutting the fender wells or do you have to make frame modifications. Very impressive....

It runs a 315/30/18 rear tire, yes mini tubs. Our chassis handles this set up just fine.

Do you have any idea the largest 20" wheel with out mini tub that works? Thanks

Without mini tubs the rear tire will be limited to about 255 mm wide tires. Depends on frame to body alignment and wheel off set and tire manufacture.

I don’t like the choice to display the transmission cooler so prominently. It looks weird just sitting in the middle of the bumper.

Fair comment. It had to go somewhere and there is not a lot space. I wonder if the space would have looked too plain with just a panel there though…. The Split bumpers are a cool feature glad they made it in the build.
