Thanks for this. I have a 2012 V6 a pre production model built in 2012 and registered 1st January 2013 so before the official release. Being pre production it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles and as I have just replaced all the brakes and pads I learned that the ones I have are off an XKR. I will spend some happy few hours going through the menus to see just how many of the features it has that were in your video. Mind you, it does have an insanely larger supercharger than standard. I’m guessing off the XKR-S as the HP figures on a dynamo are equivalent to the V8 supercharged! I love that car!,,,
Thanks for the tips, I have a chrome softop 5.0SC , two years now, still found this vid useful, never knew the steering wheel could move to make it easier to get in and out, hate squashing the side pad of the seat everytime, daam.
Good content and clear video work. Enthusiasm comes through. I learnt some new things. I’ve the V6S but without the seat/mirror electronics so I miss out on the traffic sign recognition. But it is British Racing Green so..
Great video and I'm sure it will be helpful to a lot of F-type owners. I got a manual V6 2018MY and always happy to help anyone with questions about the super rare manual transmission which is amazing once you get used to it's particularities.
Do they fold in manually by pressing the button? If so then they have motors and can be programmed, contact “lr-retrofits”, he can probably fix it for you if you are in the UK

I can confirm that quick blips on the throttle on the overrun will create more pops on the V6.
Thanks for the confirmation! You too can play!
Great info, I didn't know about the neutral over ride switch in the centre console. Must check my 2015R thanks!!
Glad I could help!

Hi, just recently got a F type. The door mirrors don’t fold in when locking the car, is there a way of activating this function? Thanks

Good stuff!
Glad you enjoyed it
Saved this video.
My kind of video
Thank you
Wait? Isn't there a neutral on the gear lever?
Not when the car has no power, wheels are locked
@fun2drive Ah.. I see. I'm buying a 2017 F Type S this week. 62k kms. White on red. Should I purchase an extended warranty?
@@lotusmanb3832 that’s up to you, personally, I don’t as I can hopefully fix things myself
@fun2drive I do as well. I have a 1990 Lotus Esprit SE that I do all my own work, but the Jag 3.0 looks like it was fit with a shoe horn.
