Clever little device. Definitely something I would think of getting if I was using my rotator on my CEM60. Fortunately it doesn't seem to throw out the balance on the CEM120 or at least I haven't noticed and difference in guiding.

Yea, on a mount like the CEM120 or the EQ8 class of mounts, I would assume that this wouldn't really make a difference at all. But with a lighter class of mount, I do find it useful. I also have a Losmandy G-11 and I am assuming - I haven't had the opportunity yet to confirm this - that it wouldn't make a difference. All I know is that my EQ6R pro is sensitive to good balance unlike my Losmandy G-11. YMMV! CS!

Why wasn't something like this around when I owned a CEM 70 mount. Those are a pain in the @$$ to balance.

Cool thank you!! I would like you to keep the mount levers unlocked and then rotate the filter wheel and camera and see if while that changes if the balance is unchanged?
