Hard to believe that Ninjas was one of the first videos of yours I watched back in 2020. 5 years ago I had never even played Legacy. Now I own a bunch of duals, I've been to multiple eternal weekends, and I have a heap of MTGO trophies. Thanks for the solid content all these years! Cheers!
Tamiyo seems really good here. She's an evasive 1 drop. She flips into a planeswalker that is solid. And she is actually somewhat hard to kill, since you can hold up Brainstorm if they try to remove her before you Ninjitsu her out.
@MekanikKommandoh88 and then some. Previous versions felt like a "1 for 2" if your ninja died without drawing cards, since Ornithopter is a dead card. Now, you can replay Tamiyo, flip her, buy back a card and now you have a "2 for 1" after giving up a 1 for 1. The math is just completely flipped
Tamiyo is a bit better then solid it’s a 1 drop planeswalker that flips with the most common blue cantrip in legacy it’s as good as it gets and still be fair
This was fantastic. Earning multiple scoops in Legacy because you're attacking with a few Ninjas feels fantastic as a viewer, bet it feels better as the pilot.

Very heavy on basics. I'm not saying it's wrong, but my impression is that it could limit our play choices. It looks like it was a real problem in a couple of situations. Do you like this kind of mana base with this color intensiveness?
I came here to say the same thing. In the old build it made more sense to be more Wasteland-proof, but this build seems to care less about the turn 2 ninja. I'd love to hear a ninja expert's opinion on it
@@ajolly2569 the debate Is always the same. Being more waste-proof or being more efficient with the colors? In this deck I think that the colors matter a lot. But It could also be true that the impossibility to cast some spells is worth the advantage of the resilience of the basics. i could not figure an answer. For example, izzet delver Is traditionally a deck that runs nonbasics without caring too much of being waste-proof, and I still don't know why 😂 But It works, so I accept It. Also non-ninja UB decks are quite soft of basics, so I can't catch the reason for this. Expecially with no B2B in the sideboard
Everything they banned was correct and the highest level of offense, but the the things they didn't touch are the things are still stink around the edges. Legacy is better, but there's room for more improvement.
Question would anyone actually be mad if oops all spells and doomsday were gone from the format, the meta turn 1 force check decks should go no one likes them play or playing against. There’s no skill in those deck go fishing the lines are pretty easy to see it basically do you have force on turn 1-3 if not I’m gonna win 95% of the time and i think decks that warp games that hard should go it’s bad for the format puts bad taste in peoples mouth especially new players to the format you can brew and go positive anymore it’s a miracle when you do. Fair decks that don’t have turn zero interaction can’t be played
I think doomsday is fine enough. Sure doomsday can win pretty fast, but they also put themselves to 10 or lower in the first few turns. Also doomsday has never been a meta game issue until mh3, and the two cards they got in that set were banned. Oops is actually an issue though. They just get to win game 1 for free almost everytime, and then all they have to do is dodge a force of will or leyline, which they can deal with pretty easily. Like even dedicated control decks seem to struggle against that deck. Seems like you have to have 8 force or you lose
Calling Doomsday a no skill deck is a wild take. Oops All Spells is pretty clear what you're supposed to do in game 1, but sideboarding is genuinely hard. I don't like boiling a game down to 0 or 1 turns of decision making, but I do think the existence of these things is cool and unique for the format. Modern and Pioneer exist for people who don't have the tolerance for that experience. We know what we're signing up for.
There is no skill in drawing an opening hand that wins on turn zero with those decks and there’s no skill in drawing a a force in your opening hand it’s all variance. Give a mediocre player oops all spells and a great player that deck yeah the great player will win more but give them both something like bug beans and great player with have a massive advantage and win much more. Games coming down to do I have force in my hand is bad for the the top of the Meta that’s why vexing bauble was banned

Tamiyo is just insane in general. Fits the deck like a glove.

flipping a creature out and then back into play in the same combat is one of those ninjutsu play patterns i love

Let out an audible gasp at the return of NINJAS! LFG!
jameskisau always plays to his outs. Great player, seems like a nice guy with an awesome yt channel
I had the soul read on round 3 so hard. Brian said it’s probably Nadu and I went “or infect!” and can’t believe it was actually right
Blocking tamiyo wirh ornithoper was my favorite part of the video.
“The Predict technology…” It’s an older code, but it checks out, 😂
After not seeing an infect opponent for what feels like a year i am excited that my favorite deck is rearing it's ugly head again
Infect is actually pretty decent right now due to all the combo in the format.
@@beetsandolivesyou have no idea how happy that makes my cold oil laden phyrexian heart 🖤
I do play kinda a spicy brew though to be fair. Leyline of Resonance
wouldnt countering the narcomoebas with consign to memory be safer than letting them come into play in the first place?
Ninja pack, ninjutsu 'em if you got an unblocked attacking creature
I love that Ninjas trigger revolt, sweer deck - maybe more Fatal Push?
47:24 this is Bosh’s most nasty dream right here.

NINJA PACK SNEAK EM IF YOU GOT EM LETS GOOOO
Fuck you’re impeccable.
Satoru + Ornithopter is SO cool
I love ninjas!!! 🥷🥷🥷
Gotta have my Bosh
Do you play modern decks or are you mainly towards legacy and vintage?
Formats are sorted in playlists on the channel. Modern is my second most played after legacy.
Love you boshy boo

The format is balanced around Wasteland and Blood Moon. I think this mana base gives us a chance in context even if it’s not ideal in isolation.

Welp
The secrets out.
Obligatory algorithmic contribution
Why are the numbers so all over the place? I feel like we want 2 or 4

Nice
That bosh n roll theme with a spicy ninjutsu pack to smoke, what a Friday
No fallen shinobi 😔
This deck makes me miss stasis.
honestly, legacy has started to look a lot more heavy since the frog ban. maybe wizards was right and we only needed a conservative hit?

Secondish!
