[Instructional Book] Paracord Fusion Ties Volume 2: amzn.to/2WPecU2
The Simple Bottle Wrap combines the utility of Square Knots with the structural elegance of individual Snake Knots (usually tied in series). Together these two knotting techniques form the "rivets" that generate a lattice (or web) that firmly embraces the bottle being tied. Note: The 2 oz bottle shown in the video was utilized to show the entire tying technique in one blocked shot. Any size bottle, smaller or larger, could be wrapped with the method shown.

I'm using this to secure potions to my belt for a Halloween costume. Great tutorial!

From the moment I watched your cobra weave
video years ago, I've become an enthusiast for,
    decorative/utility knots, paracord and cordage..
For me, if two ends of string side-by-side can end in an overhand knot,
I almost always end it with the diamond head or 'lanyard knot'
    with obsessive compulsive gusto.
Whether I'm camping or spending an afternoon
practicing knots at home, this really proves to be
quite a binding hobby that only gets stronger over time.

Thanks for posting this tutorial, the size is perfect for hand sanitiser bottles, made several for my partner and their colleagues for their return to work. Saved me a bunch of paracord instead of trying to guess at required lengths from designs for larger bottle nets. Added a carabiner at the top to clip to a belt.

I was taught a simpler version called the Rocco knot. Start with a Bottle knot, (ABoK: 1142) but ensure that one of the loose ends is longer than the other. After attaching the knot to the bottle, tuck the longer end through the exposed loop, and tie a sheet-bend with the other loose end, (double sheet-bend if you like). With about two meters of paracord you can wear it as a backpack, or run the sheet-bend loop into a longer loop and sling it over the head and one arm.

Functional and attractive piece. Curious why you used granny knots rather than the square knot in the description. Simple, quick way to make the germ grenades seen in various places. This one will be shared at Boy Scouts

i love your video, they are just great . thank you.
i tried to do it and was fun doing it.
but just one thing, when lacing the bottle at the end ... i took my needle and ran through the knots instead of just under it.
    it turned out great !
thx again for FAN-tastic video :)

The Bottle knot (amfora knot) is better and simpler. Just do it across the middel of the bottle and you have two handles. Besides, bottle knot can be transferred to another bottle easily.

This is a good tutorial, but I can't help thinking there's got to be a better way than having a big-ole knot on the bottom of the bottle...
Perhaps start at the bottom and work up instead. Still using the same knotting at the neck.

    • @JemmetGK
      @JemmetGK 6 ปีที่แล้ว

Yeah, a 2 cord box lanyard starter, on the bottom and work your way up will eliminate that big knot and still look like your example.
