You know I'mma say this and toot my own horn. Now I can cook my azz off like an old southern black grandma. In fact I can cook better than I can talk chit but I must admit. It is something about the way that AB cooks and put his food together that has me hooked on his videos. While I am fully aware in what I've been doing since childhood I'm not so complacent to the fact of learning from others. Anyone who knows anything about anything know that you can always learn something new from everyone, even your peers or competition. Congrats on ALL of your success AB, you appear to be a cool ole dude and much deserving. Just remember to keep those pots a-clacking and videos a-racking!!!! Out
Bell peppers, onions, & celery is the trinity! Personally, I would have use at least one egg to help bind everything together... I like my dressing wet, but not to wet where it feels mushy! I'm Creole/Cherokee ( in other words, Black ) and I know that taste really good.... Thanks for sharing 😉
Yesssss RIGHT ON TIME!! MY HUSBAND been asking me to make him some cornbread dressing so I'm excited to see this recipe, so l can test it out!!! That intro is bomb Chef!!! Doing it bigggg
This definitely remind me of when I was kid growing up and my grandmother used to make them home cooked meals everyday! God Rest her soul. I’m going to try this and let you how I like the creole style.
I actually really like the way you slice of sausage because I would always make the circle and then cut up into little pieces in this looks like it so much easier so glad you say that it’s a good idea cause I took me forever. Awesome suggestion. Thanks.
AB, AB AB! Man thank you for this recipe. I made this as my dressing for this past Thanksgiving and it was on point. My husband was VERY skeptical when I told him about the dressing I was making. He said, "Who put shrimp in dressing? I want the old fashioned dressing with gravy." I told him to go to him mothers house because it ain't happening here. Long story short I made this dressing with your creole corn bread, added shrimp and the cumin that you suggested and he LOVED IT! He go on the phone telling people about the fantastic dinner that I made. So AB, thank you for sharing this recipe it is now a part of my Thanksgiving meal!!!
My Creole cornbread is in the oven RIGHT NOW. I'll be making this dressing for Thanksgiving. I cannot wait, my mouth watering just watching this video!!!
I've never had Creole Cornbread or Creole Cornbread dressing before. Onions, celery, bell pepper=Holy Trinity in Creole cooking. I've got to try this recipe!!
i found this recipe before Christmas and I thought about making it for the holiday but i changed my mind and went with the traditional dressing. I ended up making this for New Years and brother when I tell you it was FIRE. I wasn't sure about a wet dressing but it was delicious!
I'm gonna try this tomorrow, but with a little less broth. I don't like my dressing on the wet side. I actually like it kinda dry then sopped up with gravy!!! Not changing anything else less broth, that's it!!! It looks amazing
That cornbread looks good enough to eat on it's on. AB I've been using cream of mushroom and chicken in my dressing for years now. I may need to make this style of dressing this year.
Ah...YEAH.The trinity!!! Always interested in new recipes. I love dressing and stuffing. I'm from New York grew up on stuffing. Cornbread and oyster dressings are my favorite side dishes.

Oh yeah! My favorite cornbread dressing! My moms make ours sometimes with oysters! This thumbnail is looking so yummy Unk!!! I'm glad to be here for today's video!!!
I’ve looked at a few different cornbread stuffing recipes. This is the one bc it’s the most appealing and I have all the ingredients. Red bell (bc that’s what’s on hand)instead of green. A chicken giblet gravy to top it off. And maybe a little cooked chicken meat chopped and tossed in with the andouille.
Watching you from here in Jacksonville, Florida. Much love and I appreciate the channel. I can learn these recipes and cook good meals. My Queen will love my cooking, when I find her..thanks, AB
OMG this is just on time. I had been looking for a Creole Cornbread Dressing recipe and you put this out! Thank you so much. This looks amazing! I can't wait to make it for Thanksgiving.
I appreciate that in your recipes, you say the number of vegetables instead of the measurements. Because when people write down ingredients as, "1 cup of diced bell peppers" or "1/2 cup of celery", it confuses me. I'm like "Diced can be of different sizes...?" In that case, I be needing to know HOW MANY bell peppers, or how many stalks of celery I need to cut up....So, thank you for that :)
I cook a smoked turkey leg and chop it up and use the water that I boiled it in to flavor including the cream of sauces. With sage and chicken poultry season. I get this request to make this dressing every year. Try it.
Bruh! I love your videos because they are short and to the point. I'm learning to get better at cooking and you mos def take the mystery out of it for me. My wife and I love your recipes. Mad Skillz fam!!
