I passed on getting one of the blank A5 notebooks, but I LOVE how you’re using it. I might have to add one to my next hobonichi order. Also, that jewelry/pen box!! 😍Thanks for the tip. Not me getting one immediately after you told me about it. 😂
@LittleCocoStudio I am experimenting with different drawing papers at the moment but so far the plain notebook is nice. Might move over to artist grade paper but I will see.
What's up Tiffany! Regarding tea, yep I'm a tea drinker. In the summer I do not drink as much because I am always drinking water chilled, but now that it's winter, I fill my water bottle up only once a week. Meanwhile I am downing tea by the gallons. But remember you are still getting water with the tea. So there's no loss there. I jump hobbies. ADHD is a "b".💜
@@robbourne1950 Hi Rob, my main concern is drinking too much tea may lead to kidney stones..so I'm going to try to keep a water carafe or bottle at my desk. Someone commented they keep a Stanley filled with water by their desk. I think if it's an arms reach I'll more likely drink it. I recently started adding lemon and honey in my water to kinda cheat..so it's not just plain water. Not sure if that's better lol... I'm no expert!
@@toxmot mmm 🤤lemon and honey sounds delish! Lemon definitely aids in the absorption of water meaning it absorbs faster. If you are concerned about kidney stones then you can look into taking potassium (if needed). Some people don't really need it. But yes I keep my water bottle next to me at my desk all day. And I sip on it when I get thirsty, that's a great idea. Have a wonderful Sunday!
Such a pleasure to see your comment - I just love your IG content so much! I hope to be consistent with my sketches - consistency is the one thing that always escapes me.
Love your peaceful setting. I am getting myself ready to watercolor again and birds were my favorite as well! Your art looks fantastic. thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the encouragement! I’m just getting restarted into doing sketches..I find it so hard to be consistent! I am going to get my hands on a nice waterproof black ink so I can actually watercolour over it. I can’t believe I haven’t done that yet. I heard the Platinum Carbon Black ink is really good.
@@toxmot Unfortunately, staying consistent is my problem as well. Without consistency, I forget all of the tips that I learned from others on TH-cam. For me, it will be like starting all over. I want to take a watercolor mixing class because I have a fascination of using a minimal palette buy able to mix any color I think of. As far as sketch inks, I was wondering if I should just have all three of the most popular...lol. (Noodlers Black (I have already), Carbon black, or Sketch ink by Rohrer & Klinger). There are so many views on each on that I'm not sure which I would like so, I just assume buy the other two inks. We can always use black ink so none would go to waste.
i just sat down to this with my journal.. and a tea lol! i filled up my stanley to leave on my desk with water cause im having the same problem! excited to watch this video 😊
That’s a great idea to have a large volume cup like a Stanley to keep at the desk…I might just try something like that! I just love my teas so much that I forget about actual water. Maybe a glass carafe would be nice. Now you got me thinking! :)
That's such a cute book cover. I'll definitely add it to my reading list! Which Canon Ivy do you have? I own one but I'm looking to buy a better one because the coloring just isn't the best!
@@xh3075 I have the canon ivy first edition. The colour on the ivy 2 apparently is more on the warm side which I didn't like. I have my eye on the canon selphy QX20. It looks to be promising as it takes both square and 4:3 sticker paper. The canon brand has given me the best colour of all the ones I've tried. Which ivy do you have?
What a cozy desktop scene you have set, I love it !❤
@@davidparrishproductions5082 thank you!
Have you seen Amy Tan’s new book The Backyard Bird Chronicles? It’s all anecdotes and lovely illustrations of birds. I think you’d really like it. 🥰😊
Thanks for suggesting it! I'll check it out! 🙂
