It truly is infuriating and it is extremely disgusting. For the mother to know and see what was happening to her daughter and not believe her at all makes her a very despicable parent. She is one of the WORST parents ever to be on this earth who NEVER should have had any children. I wouldn't doubt that she is paying a huge price for failing to protect her daughter.

Be it bullying, something they saw or something like SA that happened to them. And every parent knows something is up. It doesn't take a professional to see that something is wrong. Many of these parents either know and don't want to know. Or they are too busy to care. Or another lame excuse as to "why they didn't see it". I say it is all BS when parents say they don't know.

Unfortunately, nowadays, they’re being taught about a few things in elementary school that aren’t appropriate to be taught in high school. It’s not like back in the day where if you had sex education your parent had to sign a consent form and if at any point, your parent didn’t like the specifics in your homework for that particular curriculum they could revoke that consent and your child would no longer be taking that course Now, the teachers are telling them not to tell their parents about their little conversations in elementary level classrooms. Like the freak called Jeffrey something who likes to expose his chest hair and his 5 o’clock shadow while sporting fake nails and bright red lipstick and talks in a voice that makes your skin crawl and the hairs on the back your neck say predator at the sound of it, anyway I digress Kids act out in a sexual type of way, or talking about doing things that they should know nothing about at their age. Yeah they’re being taught behind their back and also being taught to keep secrets or flat out lie depending on what you consider a secret to be to their parents, so the education system is basically teaching these kids how to act out in this way and how to hide it from their parents. So really good kids that have had no abuse whatsoever grew up with two loving parents in the home act out in this way.

I knew the mother was aware of the abuse when Steve mentioned that the guy went to jail for touching other kids. At that point, there shouldn't be any doubt in the mother's mind, but the fact that she was privy to it made her deny it flatout.

Wow that broke my heart
I remember the abuse and neglect I was subjected to, and my NM said she thought I was making things up or faking it. I literally couldn't walk for 2 weeks(torn acl), and she said I was faking it. I finally went to the hospital, and the doctors said my NM was neglecting me. Yeah, all the times she kicked me out saying she was trying to teach me to be street smart. I ended up becoming a prostitute at a very young age, and hanging around pimps. She said she couldn't control me. The older I get, the more I realize how manipulative and abusive she was. I have so many stories from my childhood.
I'm so sorry for what you went through and I went through something very similar, I don't have anybody to connect to either. if you ever need somebody to talk to is not my random stranger online I am always willing to talk to somebody who has gone through the same situations I have!

When I wrote that comment it was from honest sincerity but when I read your reply it made me realize how rare it is that people tend to be there for each other nowadays!
