Behind the Khmer rouge were American financiers (not public knowledge) and the Russians/Chinese also supported them with weapons and know-how, but certainly not neighboring countries. Yes, the Vietnamese invaded Cambodia but that was to put a stop to Khmer Rouge attacks across the Vietnamese frontier. It also helped to put an end to that murderous regime.

However, it certainly isn't the Pathé 1907 film, Moeurs cambodgiennes - the description of that film in the Pathe catalogue is quite different. Please stop blaming : To the Khmer Rouge story: The people used the Khmer Rouge for their own interests, whenever it come to the conclusion. These people never talk, they were fleeing the country, because of the Vietnamese invasion and occupation. The Khmer Rouge did not exist anymore, when these people had the chance to flee. Without the Khmer Rouge, many of them, whom immigrated to the luxury western world might still struggling in the jungle of our country. l have to inform you, I have nothing to do with any regimes, who brought the Vietnam war into Cambodia. I left the country before 1970, but still remembered, the time after the coup d'Etat 1970 from my yearly 2 weeks vacation in Cambodia, that the country was not anymore the same as before. I don't blame General Lon Nol, or other Khmer leaders, but I strongly blame the foreigners, who make the profit from our beloved country and our people, because in their mind, the Khmer are the people too primitive and were not able to survive from the two Khmer people rivalities, Thai and Youn. I live most of my life in Europe, but am now very proud to be a primitive Khmer, then before.

Thailand did not invade…It was invented by the European Colonial Power…Language was changed or Fused between Khmer and Lao language due to Colonial Pressure…Divide and Conquer right in front of your eyes. Same as Vietnam…a Colony of the Portuguese, propped up with Westerner Military and propaganda. Want another example? Its call a civil war, or some kind of a conflict fighting amongst their own people(Political/For the throne) every country/civilization in the world has gone through it, throughout history. FYI the Khmer genocide wasn't just done by our own people, which is horrible. The Siamese, Viet Congs, and the illegal American bombings also contributed to the genocide. Go do some research if you are so educated. The Killings of thousands of Khmer refugees and Cham refugees by Siamese soldiers at Mount Dangrek. There’s nothing wrong with darker skin complexion. The problem is trying to erase Khmer people for Africans which is what Afrocentric people have been claiming.

This is thai Buddhist monk traditional ceremony. Back in Claimbodia doesn't have any clothes to wear whenVietnamese take over Claimbodia, Vietnamese provides them clothes to wears. Claimbodia traditional costumes were half Vietnamese, Chinese & Indonesia costumes. It's ashamed that's Claimbodia is trying to erased their own traditional. 😢😢
