A lot of people are saying this game is unbalanced (Knights way too easy; Turks way too hard), but I might grab it anyway, as it seems like the kind of situation where the designer could easily come out with a formal rules change.
Not sure which is more brutal - the game or your dice rolling. I have yet to get anywhere near winning as the Turks, so I play as the Knights to have a break but really want to win as the Knights by reducing Turkish morale to zero - haven't managed that yet. Hey-ho!!!!
Was going to get this and the other two games in the tripack that they had, but I just was buying too many things and I said I have to stop buying. for now.
This Game have one Card with missing Counter Order (Printing mistake). Playing Ottomans to difficult, playing knights to Easy. All in all no Match for Siege of Quebec and Syracuse. Maurice should stay with his Formations Series. My Opinion.
I agree with your statement but I have nearly won at least once as the Ottomans so I believe it is winnable. I did find the card that was misprinted and had to write the missing info on the card.

If it wasn't for bad dice rolls you would have any dice at all.
