I have shot some 16,000 rounds over a two year period through my Crosman Vigilante without a hitch! I did find that the barrel became loose over time, so I glued it in place with super glue! Accuracy over 15 meters is fantastic - 1/2 inch grouping with five shots. Here's another tip for power! Wait for about ten seconds between shots to allow the valve to "defrost" which can affect power output. Cheers and enjoy.
I worked at a gun store and they sold these, as well as the REAL version of it. It was a S&W, weighed exactly the same (unloaded) as this airgun. Can't imagine the kick on it, but I really wanted to buy it!
It's been a while Giles, since we've seen you. I started to wonder what was up. I've had a couple versions of this airgun over the years. My last was a Daisy version which I still have. I take it out once in a while. Nice to see you're still alive Giles. Fab

Excellent video and a very good gun. I bought one of these prior to getting into .22, .40 and .45 caliber guns. They are great for learning some shooting fundamentals and, with the price of ammo these days, a very economical way to have some plinking fun.

Love that accent though. And also I have a crosman handmade pistol from my self it's also a 357 but it looks a little different. But there is a problem I lost the mag and I don't have pellets or co2s saddly but I will get some sometime
I had a choice between this and the Dan Wesson 6' Silver. I chose this one because it has slightly more power and accuracy. I would buy the Dan Wesson If it could shoot pellets.
Great to see you back on the big/little screen !!! I was worried you may have ran off with an airgun groupie. Glad to hear it's only money that ha kept you away. I would pitch you a few dollars but I understand you only take Pounds.
i bought 2 of the newer versions last fall, the "Vigilante". they were cheap at $35USD a pop. might give one to my brother, he's interested in shooting, but can't seem to get off the pot. i've been in the NRA almost 30 years, so i have pistols and rifles out the wazoo. in another month or so i'll be popping squirrels from my 3rd floor balcony with the Vigilante :)

Hello Giles, I REALLY do enjoy your videos and hope you are able to continue doing so for a long time to come.
