Buñuelos, pan de bono and tamales are the best meal for christmas for me and my family. Ajiaco is the best comfort food for me. Salchipapa and a colombian style hot dog for fast food. Arepa de choclo just in general. Jugo de mora or lulo with anything really

I'm Colombian and these are my thoughts on the information 😁😁:
- We don't usually put spinach on empanadas
- Buñuelos are made of corn flour
- Pan de bono is usually made with cheese, not with guava paste (bocadillo)
- Colombiana is by far not the most popular soda amongst Colombians, but most people like it
- They shold make hayacas, pasteles, coconut rice with fried fish, arepa e' huevo, chocolate, caribañolas 😁😁

@@dazita - ohhhh... no worries, I guess I assumed that since you were watching a channel on mostly LA restaurants that you were in the area.
Normally, pandebono(cheesebread) is plain nothing sweet inside. Now there is a type bread called pan de cambraid. It is like pandebono but with guava and cheese inside.

Those folks who didn’t like this video have no clue what they’re missing. The pandebono is typically not made with guava. Empanadas are filled with beef, potatoes and lots of great seasoning. It’s filled with this wonderful guisado. I’m from Colombia and love my native food. These dishes are just a few of the many delicious dishes.

Thanks for this video I was thinking about it,cause colombian food is very good special EMPANADAS.i where a little too, when yu go to any country looks for food in the streets cause they are the original and traditional of it,the restaurants offered quality but not the traditionaly of the places..

@@RockstarEater there are so many. Mi pueblito viejo, los arrieros, patacon pisao, bamboo, pao pao or los verdes for colombian style fast food.
@@RockstarEater also just in general miami has so many awsome latino restaurants because miami is a mixture of cuban, dominican, puerto rican, nicaraguan, venezuelan , colombian etc. Kendall, doral has greay restaurants little havana too. You wont eat better than in miami or south florida in general.

EVERY Latin country has Bunuelos, different forms but pretty much the same yucca flour and melted brown sugar.

Colombian buñuelos aren't made out of Yuca. They are half flour and half cheese and they are not sweet at all.
This place is okay tbh, there are better ones in LA such as El Meson Criollo (Van Nuys), El Sazón (Northridge), or Escala (DTLA; a mix of Colombian & Korean food)

i have been to colombia 15 times ,the people are nice and a gorgeous country but dont ever say that colombian food is delicious their cuisine isn't , i wouldn't call eggs with fried banana rice and beans delicious, id call it a nightmare. i end up eating steak every damn day oh and eggs and potatoes they cant fuck them up but i had eggs that were bad,Colombia is not for someone who knows about good food
