Thank you Rockstareater for coming over and review us. You are so nice and professional at what you do. Thank you for bringing light to restaurants and owners. I appreciate you. God bless you.
Awesome video! I’m Dominican and been watching your videos for a while and yes it’s very rare to find this on the west coast. Really cool to see you try Dominican food for the first time. Mangu con 3 golpes is probably the most unique food we have and it is traditionally had for breakfast, though we love it anytime of day lol. I’ve definitely gotta try this place. Thank your exploring such amazing food!
Oooh I would like to try all of these! Rice and beans are so filling. The stewed chicken looked very flavourful and the owner of the truck was so nice and funny! Wonderful video as always Steve.
you are eating like a dominican king bro. that is best presentation of our traditional food ever on youtube is like you are eating it and i can asure you the flavors pops to my brain enjoy bro
I’m Dominican. Yes, tres golpes is the necessary hang over breakfast. We would buy fresh plantains and friable cheese and salami and eggs, before going out clubbing, because we knew we’d need it the next day. When friends and cousins would sleep over, after a night out, we would make, fresh mangu (smashed plantains), fried cheese, over easy eggs and Salami with fried red onions (tres golpes) fresh, with some Passion fruit juice on the side, the perfect hangover breakfast.
Is crazy how that is the only Dominican place in LA and we have so many Dominican restaurants in NYC. Los 3 golpes in the morning before work is the best, and u not gonna be hungry until u get out from work.
El Bacano in NoHo is pretty bomb Dominican food too. Local hidden gem , pretty sure most people found them pop up on doordash, thats where i did. really glad i tried it its one of my regular orders now
It’s one of many traditional breakfast. It really depends what part of the counter you are from. My family being from a beach town, we actually use Alot of seafood and coconut including for breakfast.
@@1474JOHNbesides their food is completely Different ..Haitian eat something call Jon Jon rice , they eat a lot of hot spices and a lot of black mushrooms...🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮.. You could have said it's similar to Hatian food, since both countries are right next to each other and share an island! But, you decided to take the low and lazy option and create controversy!

When you eat pollo guisado with rice and beans, you have to throw a lil of beans above the rice and try it together.

Chicharrones is pork belly which is fat and it's deep fried not good. Food looks delicious other than too much pork.
