Hard to believe all this content come from just 3 of you guys. Better than most TV shows im my opinion. Every time I watch your videos I have to go out for a ride and I have so many trips I want to do after seeing you guys do it. Thank you for the awesome content!!!!✌

Shoot , rode my 1993 Electro glide Classic From Reno to Alaska, 3100 miles one way. I used to think 50 was long and lonely but you get up to the ALCAN and that segment alone is 1400 miles of wilderness ,with wolves ,moose and bears crossing the road.
Real men shake hands…I’m just a good old country boy from South Dakota, and we still believe in a man’s word and a hand shake. It’s a dying thing……we need to bring it back. You gentlemen are amazing!! I live vicariously through your videos in our long Dakota winters!! Lol! Hope to see you guys at sturgis this year! Keep’m shiny side up boys and happy trails!! Hard to shake hands with America on the loneliest highway when there’s nobody out there!! Jokin!! Brother, this is my kind of riding; hardcore, lock in your mindset, and stay on the throttle! I’m always thinking about that run in the dead of summer heat. Rolling thru a frozen tundra was epic!
Thanx very much for the ride, Fellas. Beautiful country! I live in Vegas, and I’ll be doing this ride in a couple of months. Vegas to Ely, Ely to Eureka, Eureka to Fallon, Fallon to Tonopah, and finally Tonopah back to Vegas sounds like a good ride. I appreciate you three for taking us on this ride. That sunset is priceless and what riding is all about in this gorgeous country of ours. 💙🇺🇸
There is another Utube channel by a semi truck driver out of Colorado with the Utube title "Riding Shotgun" and watching his Utube channel 2Lane came up on my cellphone so I've subscribed to both channels. I would say these are two of the best travel programs I've seen. I love this beautiful land, God knew what he was doing when he created the scenic USofA
Thanks for the support, Robert!! We're glad you're enjoying the videos of our travels all over the beautiful US of A! We'll have to check out his videos as well. See you down the road🇺🇸
Yes sir .... that is a fantastic ride .... A friend and I rode Hwy 50 from Texas to Lake Tahoe during the early summer months and ABSOLUTELY LUVed. It was good to see it with the snow ... amazing country !! THANKS for sharing !!
Last year, August 2023, I did a ride on my Canam Ryker Rally from Sacramento, CA. US50 across Nevada, through Utah, to Mesa, Colorado. After getting to Fallon, Nevada, at about 5:00ish, I decided to continue riding, being it was still daylight, on to the next town and get a motel room, no such lucky, so I thought I'd try the next town, then the next town, then, then the next, on and on, and on, till I got to Utah at 50--I70, at breaking dawn. The loneliest road in America is an understatement, I don't think I saw 10 vehicles from Fallon to Scripo, Utah. Riding all night across Nevada into Utah. All of the casinos were operating full blast. There was one curious part's of the ride that really peaked my interest was right on the Nevada Utah border, there was a Phillips 66 gas station in Utah, and with the casino in Nevada all under one roof. ONLY IN AMERICA, DON'T YOU JUST LOVE IT 😂! Hey there there, you TWO LANE LIFERS, yes I know I don't ride a Harley but I do enjoy the wide open road. AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL from here in South Western Arizona. P.S. last year, I also did Pikes Peak, Mesa, CO, over the Grand Mesa, and the 550 starting at Delta, CO., all of the way south to Bernalillo, New Mexico. Then I-40, back home to Arizona. God bless you guys, and keep up the utubes.
Now that's something! We've been skunked on hotels a few times, but we've never had to ride more than 150 miles past our original planned stay. Sounds like quite the long day on the road, but the name sure sunk in after that one. Pike's Peak is at the top of our list, we hope to ride that this year or next. Thanks for the continued support, Robert! Ride safe out there🤘
Foul weather riding just brings a different soul to your life. The wonderment you discover while doing so has a meaning that will leave you feeling humbled and exalted, a true balance of emotions to learn from.
Haha it sure does!! Couldn't have said it better ourselves. Every condition brings it's own lesson and it's our responsibility to learn those lessons along the way!
Great to see the Loneliest Road again. You guys are doing a fantastic job. Me and my buddy are both retired Police Sergeants from New Zealand and back in 2013 we overnighted in Tahoe and then rode down into Carson City to do Highway 50. We stopped off at the Harley dealership and they were setting up for a memorial ride for MIA's and POW's. There were four State Troopers all Sergeants in full dress on their bikes to lead the ride so we walked over and introduced ourselves. On finding out who we were they really made us feel welcome and asked us to ride with them up the front. Sadly we had to decline as we were on a tight schedule. I told them we were going out on Highway 50. I asked what the speed limit was out there and they said they don't ticket you unless you go over 80. Then the lead Sergeant said "but today you boys can go as fast as you like and we wont look." We did the Loneliest Road at 110mph. What a memory!
I've become addicted to your channel. And thanks to you and Matt Laidlaw we've put our Heritage up for sale and are going to step up to a touring bike.
yup, your half crazy. but the video's y'all put out is truly inspiring. i live in Florida, had to ride in 28 degree weather one day. it wasn't bad, had long johns, t shirt, sweat shirt, heavy coat, neck gator, and just about 30 min. ride. i love those little 80-100 people towns. heck i love the western U.S. the history is what makes America what it is today. enjoy, i will, be safe. see ya down the road!
Let's goo!! Thanks for tuning in, Erwin! We're glad you are enjoying the adventures and hope things are looking up for you. Maybe we'll see you down the road!👍
Hats off to you all for riding in those cold Temps...Snow and Cold up here in the Great White North! Heading for AZ in March..Hopefully We Will See You Guy's Down the Road!
I definitely will be buying one of them suits in the new week lol, tractor supply has something them. Great video! I love the cold weather riding as well!
Thank you. We're trying to incorporate more of the native history as we learn it ourselves. There was lots of history in these lands before ours began 👍

insane. we did the US 50 loneliest road trip in August 2022, doing it in the winter is a whole different experience for sure. We rode from Fallon all the way to Nephi Utah the day we did it, but then we don't stop to do the production you guys do. We found this route to be incredibly beautiful and what an awesome experience crossing 15-17 mountain passes, and then getting down into the flats for a straight on run to the next pass. We enjoyed all our stops on this road, however the stop in Eureka was our favorite found an unexpected oasis up by the High School. Shaded and alongs side a large very green grassy park. Had a lunch of some hard salami, cheese and fruits that we had picked up at the Fallon Walmart. Great video guys and what we have come to expect from your channel.
Definitely some different scenery!! Going into it, we weren't quite sure what to expect, but we had a blast and enjoyed every stretch of the trip. It was a unique experience being able to stay on the same road pretty much the whole trip! Thanks for tuning in, we appreciate the support!
@@2LaneLife it seriously worked well mate. Sometimes there will be a fact you all forget to mention when filming live and can edit in using a voiceover later (down the road 👌😂)
Been down that Lonely Road myself before love the small towns spend some time in Ely love the railroad museum in Ely thanks guys brought back some good memories
Good stuff! It was a great experience. Pretty cool staying on the same road for so long. We'll have to check out the railroad museum next time we're out there. Thanks for watching, Robert 👍
Love this stuff. Hey Josh.....take it from an Old Bull....your bike is super cool......BUT for these rides.....get the lowers and get more wind protection upstairs. You will love it! I know, because I was you.....when I was younger! HA!
Really enjoyed this video. Awesome trip. I just rode in 40° other day up here close to Canadian border. Riding when it’s cold and surrounded by snow is just a different experience. I love it. One of the best investments I’ve made is heated gear (jacket, gloves, pants and heated socks).
Glad you enjoyed it, Manny!! Thanks for tuning in. It sure is an entirely different experience being completely surrounded by snow. We'll be testing out some more heated gear at some point 👍
@@2LaneLife I’ve had Gerbing heated liners for 10+ years, pretty solid. Still going strong. But I recently came across Warm and Safe brand. They have heated base layer, I’ll be switching to them. Less bulky. With Gerbing I usually have base layer then Gerbing liners and top of that jeans or jacket. With Warm and safe since it’s like a base layer all you need is top it off with jeans and slim wind proof jacket and you are done. No more bulk. I like that idea.
Lonely at times, but we were grateful for the sense of solitude throughout the long stretches. Thank you for the support! Glad you're enjoying the vids 👍
Greetings from Northern California great video. Been across 50 a few times, mostly in T shirt weather 😊 I admit it I am a wimp when it comes to cold weather.🇺🇸
Another great ride! I’ve done it many times in the same weather and in the extreme opposite of 110F. Middlegate is a great little stop..great burgers! See you down the road…at some point
Thanks for tuning in, Nigel!! Glad you enjoyed this one as much as we did making it. Figured we'd try something a little different for the intro as well👍
Absolutely love that you featured The Loneliest Road. The military brought me to Ohio, but I'm from Reno, and have run that road several times for hunting, fishing, prospecting and off-roading. Nothing like it, and I am so pleased that you geared up to bring it to us. Hit Middlegate in the warmer months, and I guarantee you will be in great company with the number of bikers that make that a day-run destination. Looking forward to your next leg of the journey where you'll be going through Tonopah and Goldfield where we have family history. Stay safe, and thank you!
It's been on the list for quite some time, so we're glad we were able to make it out to see for ourselves even if it wasn't the whole stretch. There sure is a lot to do along the way, which we'd love to explore at some point. Thank you for your service, it sounds like you've had some great experiences along the way 🇺🇸 We did a quick passthrough of Tonopah and Goldfield and loved all the old buildings in Goldfield. See ya on the next one!
Love these videos! I’ve recently moved out west to Colorado. Beautiful country! I can’t wait to get a bike and explore! If you ever get the chance take 285 in Colorado. I highly recommend the ride from Durango to the Lakewood area. Beautiful scenery and a few mountain passes!
Glad to hear it, Hunter!! Thanks for tuning in. We've covered some miles in Colorado but definitely plan to spend some more time out there exploring in the future. Congrats on the move, ride safe once get get riding👍
Love that ride. Usually eat at the Owl Club in Eureka. Thanks for sharing this with us. Rode from Pahrump up to Fallon two weeks ago. Nevada Hotel in Ely is a fun place.
So cool you did this trip, it’s a famous highway that’s famous for just not being as famous as Route 66… I hope to follow in your tire tracks one day and explore the west and all those beautiful places hidden from the masses.
Great videos, I'm jealous. I just got laid off from my job, now I have time to ride, just not the money. Keep up the good work, I keep adding to my bucket list.
OUTSTANDING video!!! I’ve ridden that road from Carson city to Utah twice. Both times during the summer. Y’all hit all the best spots in this video!!! Love your content keep it coming!!!
Glad to hear we could share some jams with you! We also have a playlist on Spotify with some of our favorites if you search "2LaneLife Highwaymen" and we'll continue to add to it as time goes on. Hopefully you can get out on the road soon!
well boys uou put up with more cold than i do lol. About 45F has been about my limit, however I went out and bought some Harley heated gear this winter, gloves, jacket and pant liners, hopefully they will extend my season going forward. Another great video, I plan on stopping/pass thru Ely this June on my way to St. George/ ZIon/bryce/North Rim. MV, and South Dakota.
That heated gear should do you good! It can sure get chilly through lower temps on two wheels but it's a very unique experience. Sounds like you've got a great ride ahead of you this June 😎
Incredible video! And I thought you were a motorcycle channel but it turns out you're actually miners digging up all the hidden jewels of America on your motorcycles and sharing them with us. Love you guys and the excellent product you produce and share.
Thanks for the kind words, Michael!!We might just have to use that one ourselves, love that. We appreciate all of the support, see ya on the next one 👍
I’m here in Gardnerville, used to live in Dayton. And fallon is great and bummed y’all missed middlegate station. Epic burgers there! Hit me up next time you’re here. We can ride Tahoe and 88.
Hey guys - Love your video. You are in the heart of the Great Basin. Little known fact: Nevada is the most mountainous state in the union. Keep riding and keep up the good work.
Great views, awesome history, spectacular food. What more could you ask for? Maybe warmer weather. It seems to me that these little hole-in-the-wall establishments have THE best food! You guys rock! You bring motivation to those of us who love to ride.
I was through there in April when I was coming into California there was 8 ft snow banks on the side of the road! Love the Chanel I am from British Columbia Canada! Riding to Mexico at the end of April my see you down the road
Man, you guys are really great. I never thought that I would be jealous of someone riding in 16 degree weather, but you boys proved me wrong. Another awesome video. Thanks for bringing us along.
I was really hoping that you all were going to eat at the Grid in Fallon, that place is good! i have made my way up there from el paso texas and it was worth the trip and the stop. the wings are pretty good there too! Ride safe my guys
My HWY 50 in SE Wisconsin is pretty lonely right now we are having a ice storm🥶, the worst in many years, once it melts, I’ll be back on two wheels, layers and wind Protection are key in cold weather riding, anything heated helps, see ya down the road
That's what it sounds like!! We got pretty lucky as the week before the trip our route had temps in the negatives as it does now. Hope it warms up for ya soon. Thanks for watching, John. Stay safe out there🥶
Lovin the episode and the balls you guys have for braving the cold. Can’t help but wonder how you were keeping the bikes so clean, then you answered my question. I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow as I ride back home from Durham, NC to South Florida (780 miles) where the temps will be pushing the upper 80’s.
Thanks for tuning in, Jeff!! It was a nippy one for sure, but made for some great stories. Upper 80's riding doesn't sound too bad right about now haha. Hope you had a good ride home!
Thanks Robert!! The bikes sure love those crisp temps, and with a few layers we don't mind them so much either. Glad you're enjoying the series, there's more where that came from!
You guys are tough! I'm about an hour south west of Fallon. We've been having the winter from hell this year. 😡 Lots of snow and cold. I've done 50 a gazillion times and I think I know every inch of that highway. You are correct though, spring or fall is best. You freeze your butt in winter and roast in summer. I'm surprised you didn't say anything about all the mountain ranges you cross. NV has more mountain ranges than any other state and they all run north and south. Basins and ranges they're called. BTW, Middlegate is about 30 minutes east of Fallon on the south side of 50 on highway 361. There is no town there, just the dinner and campground. You can see it from 50 but you have to be looking for it. It's about 1/4 mile down 361. Looking forward to the next video to see if you go into Carson and then south on 395 or if you're going to try to cross over the Sierra's into CA and down the warmer side.
Great run and we have done the Carson 395 a ton, however on this run it was snowing and we couldn’t go that direction. That’s why we choose Death Valley and shooting down from Fallon.

Greetings from Northern California great video. Been across 50 a few times, mostly in T shirt weather 😊 I admit it I am a wimp when it comes to cold weather.🇺🇸
NorCal in the house!! Thanks for tuning in, Steve. We'll have to check it out during a warmer time of year at some point 👍
Another great ride! I’ve done it many times in the same weather and in the extreme opposite of 110F. Middlegate is a great little stop..great burgers! See you down the road…at some point
Those areas definitely see some extremes! We'll have to check out Middlegate next time around. Thanks for watching, David😎
Ok you guys just went up a few notches in my book riding in that weather looks like home 😂30 here now winter storm tonight 3-5”s calling for
Thanks Jeff. Gotta do what you gotta do sometimes. Luckily, with some extra layers it ain't too bad 🤘
Epic video and trip guy just class and josh that was a class interduction at the start.
Thank you for your service, it sounds like you've had some great experiences along the way 🇺🇸
We did a quick passthrough of Tonopah and Goldfield and loved all the old buildings in Goldfield.
Amazing video and brilliant intro, well done you all!! 👍👍
👍👍
Reminds me of Vanishing Point any time on on that road.
Pretty wild for sure! Thanks for tuning in, Ty 👍
We rode that road in July 2020. Fantastic time. Watch out for the mormon crickets.
Good times for sure! Gotta love being on the same stretch of road for miles on end. Thanks for watching, Lonnie👍
Love that ride. Usually eat at the Owl Club in Eureka. Thanks for sharing this with us. Rode from Pahrump up to Fallon two weeks ago. Nevada Hotel in Ely is a fun place.
Good times indeed! Looked like there were some good eats in Eureka, we just ended up landing at Clementines. Sounds like you had a great ride👍
Once again great content by a great channell !!
Hope you get 100k subscribers soon... And then 1M !! You got this !
Thanks rippr, we appreciate your confidence in us.
So cool you did this trip, it’s a famous highway that’s famous for just not being as famous as Route 66… I hope to follow in your tire tracks one day and explore the west and all those beautiful places hidden from the masses.
Haha that's one way to put it! Glad you enjoyed the ride and hopefully you can get out and see it for yourself sometime 👍
Great videos, I'm jealous. I just got laid off from my job, now I have time to ride, just not the money. Keep up the good work, I keep adding to my bucket list.
Sorry about the job. Maybe see if you can do a day trip to clear the mind.
OUTSTANDING video!!! I’ve ridden that road from Carson city to Utah twice. Both times during the summer. Y’all hit all the best spots in this video!!! Love your content keep it coming!!!
👍👍🤘🤘
Great drop Road Warriors. They give an iron butt for over 1K in a day. Y'all should qualify for the frozen nuts. Keep the great content coming.
Thanks Tim!! Haha the frozen nut qualification accepted 😂

Glad to hear we could share some jams with you! We also have a playlist on Spotify with some of our favorites if you search "2LaneLife Highwaymen" and we'll continue to add to it as time goes on. Hopefully you can get out on the road soon!
Great video, guys! Been missing your adventures. Thanks!
Thanks for tuning in, Edward!! Plenty of adventures to come🤘
Absolutely Awesome ride with great history!! Thank you brothers as always! Be Safe!
Definitely a cool one!! Thanks for coming along for the ride🤘
well boys uou put up with more cold than i do lol.
Sounds like you've got a great ride ahead of you this June 😎
great memories for me I made the trip in 2017. Greetings from Germany
Awesome
👍👍
Hey guys - Love your video. You are in the heart of the Great Basin. Little known fact: Nevada is the most mountainous state in the union. Keep riding and keep up the good work.
We found out there is a ton to do there!
I've ridden this a few times, but only in the summer 🥶
We'll have to check it out during summer sometime down the road! Thanks for watching👍
Another great video..the scenery was spectacular 👌
Glad you enjoyed it, Warren! That snowy scenery was a great time 👍
Been there. Did that. Loved it. Hope to do it again! Thank you!
Right on!! That's definitely something we'd love to do again as well. Pretty dang cool staying on the same 2lane for hundreds of miles!
Great views, awesome history, spectacular food. What more could you ask for? Maybe warmer weather.
It seems to me that these little hole-in-the-wall establishments have THE best food!
You guys rock! You bring motivation to those of us who love to ride.
Thanks for the positive comments Robert!
I was through there in April when I was coming into California there was 8 ft snow banks on the side of the road! Love the Chanel I am from British Columbia Canada! Riding to Mexico at the end of April my see you down the road

Heading to Fallon in April, there's a great bourbon distillery there called Frey Ranch for you next visit through the area. See you down the road.

Ely Nevada , My home town!!

Thanks for tuning in, Danny!! All is good over here. Same to you 😎
Man what a great episode ! My buddy and I have decided to do the run on 50 from CA to Ely but we won’t be going when it’s 33, ride safe gentlemen!
Give it a run. Start up in Carson City.
Thanks for sharing your great adventure. But way to cold for me. Am a fair weather guy.
Thanks for tuning in!! We did a little suffering so you don't have to haha
Stay safe out there🥶
Damm, got cold watching you guys ride... Did you find your jewels after the cold ride? Lol amazing ride fellas
Haha it was a cold one for sure! Luckily we found 'em 😂
You are really cool guys ☃️☃️☃️
😂😂👍👍
Nice vlog, I don’t know how you guys ride in such cold weather, when it’s 50 degrees I’m freezing.
Thanks for watching! You get used to it pretty quick with the right gear on 👍
Great video thanks for sharing 🤘🇺🇸
Thanks for coming along for the ride! 🤘🇺🇸
You guys forgot to mention the Nevada Northern Railroad in Ely but great video, I plan on making this journey as well
Yup, forgot about that one. Sounds like there's a Railroad museum out there as well. Thanks for watching!
Made my day.. Thank you!
Glad to hear it!! Thanks for tuning in, Scott 👍
Great series guys! Isn't it fun even in the cold weather, the bikes seem to even ride better. I am enjoying this weeks drop and keep it up!!!
Thanks Robert!! The bikes sure love those crisp temps, and with a few layers we don't mind them so much either. Glad you're enjoying the series, there's more where that came from!
Beautiful scenery, incredible really! Is this the greatest country to ride a motorcycle or what?
It was something else out there!!! We think it might just be!
Thanks for watching, Patric 🇺🇸
Another great vid. Cheers.
Thanks David!! Cheers 🍻
That’s why we choose Death Valley and shooting down from
Fallon.
You 3 going to Arizona bike week ?
Not this year, but we'll be going to Daytona for the first time in a few weeks!
