The first thing I learned to play on guitar was a very slow and sloppy Sweet Child o Mine intro and then Enter Sandman, all you need is dedication. You can always go back and learn chords and scales and actual theory, but only if you have fun early on and stick with it.

That's a Sitar in the intro, an Indian old school guitar that makes that sound

good point, Ae Norist. But then again, Jimmy Page has used a violin bow on his guitar to provide some unique sounds, like in dazed & confused.
