    I think your criticism is fair. I was surprised at Corally's support. I bought a Team Corally Shogun V1 used, they offer a free package to upgrade your V1 to V2 if you can provide a receipt. I didn't have a receipt as I'm the second owner and I bought it used. They gave me a 77% off discount from $180 on this pack, and I received it from Belgium to NJ,US in 3 business days. I don't think anyone is doing that. Their customer support is excellent. I think they are just different cars with different design philosophies and goals. I like both. Thanks for your video

    I have 2 6S Arrmas. Whenever I break a part I order at least 2 of the replacement, at least for things like plastic parts, diff gears, and wing mounts. Basically ive bashed Arrmas long enough to know what parts are most likely to fail, and I keep enough on hand to get through a period of unavailability. You also usually save on shipping this way, order online and ask for combined shipping if it isn't the default. Local Hobby Shops have been pretty good to me, often they have had parts in stock that I wasn't able to find online. Always call ahead and have your part numbers ready.

    If I didn't have a TC I would have bought one after watching this video. Great comparison and thorough discussion on both. Totally agree TC have their issues but there has been some improvements between the gens that makes you believe they are trending in the right direction. Just hope they can do right to some of the folks that were the early adopters. Cross use of parts between gens would be huge.

    As far as my experience with Arrma they break often until you upgrade everything. And even then it takes some careful tuning of the diffs, shocks and chassis to get them to last in terms of bashing. If you drive them easy no problem. But if you want to jump them and send it you'll break every session. Often not making it through an entire battery. My Kraton 6S BLX came with no fluid in the center diff. The center diff literally blew out through the plastic case. And soon after the motor locked up. I had to wait 2 months to get warranty parts. By then I had already upgraded the diffs to metal cased diffs with heavier fluids. Imagine being new to rc. You buy a Kraton. You go drive it for the first time. And the motor locks up and the center diff blows up. Now I also own a TLR Typhon and a Big Rock. And those two have been great. But in my opinion all these brands have their flaws. And quality control is hit or miss with all of them. Do yourself a favor and learn how to work on your rc before you buy it. And the first thing you do when you buy one is take it apart and inspect the diffs, bolts and shocks.

    • @MrGonzoify
      @MrGonzoify 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I am new into rc for about 6 months, and last week a buddy of mine just bought his first rc and got the Kraton 6s exb, (less then ten minutes in) and in one very unlucky bad crash and the rear diff split in two and collateral damage was unknow until taken apart. Long story short, crashes happen, and fixing them seems to be a part of the hobby, and I like it tbh. In a world of use it, break it, throw it away...fixing and maintaining is a breath of fresh air. Have fun with it, is my opinion. They all have good and bad points, and everyone drives them different, as you said. Cheers

      The ESC in the Corally is NOT just a rebranded Max8, it's hopped up, the Firma 150 or Blx 185 is a slight step down to the 150, and an even bigger step down to the blx 185,both those ESC are fine, but the Torox 185 is the most powerful 6s RTR ESC out there period 😎👍

    @mikescallon4288 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have to correct what I previously thought about Team Corally Muraco being faster thsn an Arrma Talion. Firstly, after spending some more time with the Muraco I can safely say I won't buy another Team Corally vechile again. I initially thought it was great until literally things started prematurely wearing or completely breaking. After a half dozen drives the vechile looked like it had been through a war despite doing some fairly light to medium driving of it. No bashing whatsoever, it would not hold up. In addition, in terms of speed, with the stock setup it can only accept up to a 16 tooth pinion gear. You have to change to a smaller spur gear to go any larger. A 16 tooth gets you to about 62 mph. The Talion on the other hand, with the stock spur gear can accept a wide array of pinion sizes. All the way up to at least a 23 tooth. Using a 21 tooth pinion I was achieving 71 mph. A 23 tooth is gonna push the speed to at least 75 mph if not closer to 80 mph. I am not certain, but I would assume that if you changed it to a 46 tooth from the stock 50 or 52 tooth spur, perhaps even faster speeds. I order. Maybe speeds are faster with the Team Corally after changing to a 46 tooth but not stock. The other issue is the major slop in the suspension and steering making it brutal to control. Not a brand I will be buying again. They need to do a ton to get to Arrma's level. To be fair though, maybe I just got a bad vechile. That is definitely possible.

Parts availability is so much more plentiful on the Arrma side. From online stores like Amazon to eBay and and FB Marketplace there is very little shortage of Arrma parts.
