  • Team Corally keeps pumping out some exciting new RC cars. Some have been version two of their ⅛ line of RC ready to run buggies, truggies, trucks and monster trucks and they have expanded the line with offering new vehicle styles rather than just a secondary paint job offering. The first of the expanded RC’s was the Radix6 which was a variation of the Python. Now they’ve taken the Dementor platform and turned it into the exciting Jambo as an option for you. Like the Dementor, the Jambo is an exciting ⅛ electric off-road stunt truck. This tuggy is built for wheelies, back flips, big air and so much more. It also includes all the latest tweaks and revisions Corally has made to their other platforms in the V2 releases. This truck is exciting, it looks great and spoiler, it’s a blast to drive. If you’ve been thinking about getting a stunt truck, you need to see this entire video.

    I have a Notorious...and I don't see this as a clone. There's only so much you can really do original with a basher design an make it competitive. Big wheels and tires, and beefy parts. They can either do like Traxxas and have plastic darting out left, right and center, or a clean layout similar to Arrma. I'm not sure how they can be expected to pull something entirely original off. Their wheelie bar and wing mount is completely different, however.
    All I have to say is that this is yet another vehicle I'd take over Traxxas.

    Arrma came out with the Outcast and then switched up the body to release the Notorious. Team Corally came out with the Dementor, then switched up the body to release the Jambo. Great video!! 👍 👌

    Great review! I go the V1 Dementor and love it. Once I got a few of the bugs worked out (what truck can't use a little something right out of the box anyways) it was and still is a blast to drive. Good to see a new body style and I'll def be getting a clear Jambo body when they are available.

    • @3SonsRC
      @3SonsRC 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Rockatha I used to think that 100%, but now I'm thinking they just wanted to go pan style truggy like Tekno, Arrma, Losi etc, and you can't help but look like others when you do that. Arrma starts making truggies and they borrow a ton of design from the Other Truggy makes before them. Everyone borrows ideas unless your Traxxas and you sue people if things are similar!
      Intentional or not, seem to be solid trucks with the v2's, and I think competition is a good thing.... Pushes the hobby along

    I really like this Jambo it looks like it runs crazy fast and stunting but it also has this smoothness and under control persona to it. I will be thinking of buying one of these come spring because it is cool. And CoRally has some nice 7075 upgrade parts also. And I found like Greg said the customer service is pretty good. I was happy with my V1 Kronos. I sold it as I had some other projects to tend to. I’ve got a Kraton EXB coming on order already. So the Jambo would make a great stunt truck

    I'm really liking the new Team Corally vehicles. I have a V1 Python and the new Kronos V2. When I first bought the Python earlier this year, I was asked why I didn't just get a Typhon. The answer: Because I already have one. Over three years ago when I first bought my Typhon, Arrma was nowhere near as popular as they are today so I can't knock Team Corally for putting their bid in and trying to gain some market share. All this means to me is that there are more vehicles for rc enthusiasts to enjoy and it's good for the hobby to have competition and various options.

    I'm not sure if I would buy one, I'm an Arrma guy myself. I see a lot of the things that make me love my Arrmas being done on these Corally RTR's. I like the way the bodies look also. Hopefully the durability is as good as the appearance of things like A-arms and shock bodies would lead one to believe. I am curious about the thickness of the shock shafts as well as how easy it is to bend the shock towers and chassis. I hope Corally finds success in the US market, more competition in the RC manufacturing sector is always good for the hobby. Hopefully support from Corally is comparable to Horizon Hobby and parts availability for stock and aftermarket parts improves soon. I'm definitely interested in seeing how these Corally RTRs hold up long-term, especially with serious bashing.

    I got the chance to run a friends Kronos and can say that the power system in it, even tho it’s just relabeled HW, seemed to be more powerful than the firma in my v5. Didn’t have telemetry to fact check but it was very clearly more powerful to the three of us that passed them around to try out. As for the copying Arrma allegations, could be true. There’s only so many ways you can put a diff, esc, motor, servo and battery on a flat piece of metal with finite space. A sure fire way to tell would be if the parts will interchange. Just about every car on the road has the motor in the front, gas tank in the back and seats in between. Does that mean that Honda is copying Ford?

    Kinda look like ARRMA knockoffs as far as chassis and box artwork.

    Team corally's most RC cars look like arrma's copied or inspired models , I like arrma better but yeah I guess I'm really liking the newer models of team corally , I think they're really good but still look like arrma's RCs

    I can't have any love for company that blatantly copies aarma. Also I've seen pretty much everyone who got the dementor and the kraton copy all broke first drive. Arrma had put many years in r and d on the 6s line up corally came along and straight copied the line up to make a quick buck. No thanks.

      You do know that rc have evolved by copying another rc

      @@onemansvideos2134 The problem is they aren't evolving... This is the first time they have done something different, but if you mention anything about arrma they will block you on social media that kinda shady and shows how guilty they are. If you ask any RC enthusiast the first they think about corraly is arrma knockoff. Its so bad they became jokes :/
