I really appreciate the fact that Saturn has designs that are pretty simple, yet overall realistic and nice. A good number of these uniforms either are totally great alternates now, or are a couple small touches away from being even better. My favourites are Ottawa, Seattle, the Jets, and Montreal.
That blues concept was beautiful. I could see that as an alternate away jersey.
The Kraken one is awesome!!!

Probably not a rare idea, I just need to say it. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE KRAKEN WEAR A RED JERSEY. I tried to make a concept in 2D because I was bored, and I think it looks good, but I’m not sure. Great video!

Funny when complaining about thick collars and my eyes goes to the collar on the shirt your wearing and be like "Hmm... Interesting". If thickness is really an issue then the color shouldn't matter. But you only really remark on the collar being too thick when it's bright, I guess because it's simply more noticable then. But take your jersey for example, it's black yet the collar sticks out on that green so can't say it's blending in well enough as an excuse seeing the thickness is easy to see despite being black. So I have to assume you don't like the collar on that Anaheim jersey, if thickness again is an issue, be it light or dark, if not blending in well it shouldn't matter from a logic perspective. But since you have the jersey you either like it or it wasn't a dealbreaker, because you ofc don't have to like everything about something to still wanna have it.
Interesting if you could elaborate on the whole thickness deal with collars for you. Like does color matter? Must it not be thick or are there cases where a thick single colored collar works (depending on the rest of the jersey/blending with the shoulders etc)? Just to better understand your preference :)
Well, firstly the jersey I was wearing was a gift. It was sent in by a subscriber. I didn't purchase it.
When the collar uses a lighter or brighter color, it's very noticeable. You may have a jersey with as thick of a collar, yet it's darker and blends with the rest of the jersey better. It can be accented by the NHL backing section, shoulder patches or other factors. There is no written rule to my logic, it's situational.
I noticed a few times you said “he or she” and I’m just sending a friendly reminder that if you don’t know someone’s gender you should probably say “they” :) not a big deal at all though so don’t worry

Those Tampa, Seattle, Vegas, and Anaheim jerseys are pretty sick! The Canucks jersey is good but please, don’t use that logo

Buffalo - nice use of gold rather than the traditional yellow, quite clean
Chicago - bold choice to use the colourization into the face, thought this was well balanced and yes quite clean, very well executed
Ottawa - simple and dark, but not in a bad way, borderlines on classic

Tampa Bay - that deep blue is perf
Vegas - yes to any added texturing, it's a must have for me
Winnipeg - this is about the same amount of clean as in the Chicago take, instant classic

Nice that you added the Sharks first cause they always had a gorgeous colored jersey. ( the teal jersey, and you put the Islanders tenth and I love the Islesvery much more than the Rangers, matter of fact I hate the Rangers, never liked them. Neil’s way of doing jersey concepts is very strange.He doesn’t know good jersey when sees one. He seems to like the Winnipeg. Jets more than most others? Nothing wrong with St.ouis, nothing wrong with Vegas, nothing wrong with the Islanders, yeah Colorado a nice jersey too, I’ll admit it, nothing wrong with Deroit or Chicago, or Anaheim. These team's look the way they look so that people would buy them, He did the black colored jerseys, and the Isanders jersey WAS the nicest looking one, and Nei rated it 21st when I believe it should be in the top 10. But I don't believe he knows much about decent looking jerseys.

I love that you put the gradient in the logo and the bolts on the arms. Or it would like amazing if those were metallic details in real life.
love seeing the Ducks main color black, with orange. Shoulder patches, D in a circle improves it 100%.
coyotes- the stripy graphic from the shoulder patch, inside the collar looks sweet. i like the two tone shoulder patch
boston striping is simple and classic. i would change the shoulders- add striping kind of like nyr away jersey so brown meets the yellow rather than the body going from yellow to a white stripe.
blue jackets and canadians are the best two tone jerseys, i've seen.
favourite Dallas jersey, ever.
don't like the oiler jersey colors.
the kings crown logo doesnt feel right.

like Neil said, spacing the striping on Nashville is the reason it's a great jersey.
nyi logo and shoulder patches are both busy. i would have the shoulders just the white NY inside a circle.

Hey Neil got alot of reaction vids I know I'm a being a bruin 😉 but uh gotta say this concepts are like plain Jane to me but if u want my quick critique best jersey is to me on this video is Canucks. They would look better with a green jersey. But I wish he used the orca or the nukk skater. Anyway Neil iam going to sending A 6 Request on drop box I might move these concept picks to Google drive. I think it's not u or me I think Dropbox is not letting u look at things. It's werid but could be that.
Leafs jersey looks like a pyjama or the uniform of a sailor. Super bad jersey which I would put just at the bottom close to the jersey of my Canucks (which is awful as well - same opinion, the green as main color is a shame). Columbus and Montreal are some of my faves as well. The cleaner the better. For some reason also the Nashville jersey caught me.
I really like this designer. Uncomplicated yet classy. Two thumbs up for Saturn Styles.
Kings. Silver and purple, not grey. Also, I'd like to see a Red Wings jersey with silver textured spokes in the wheels (like Buffalo's textured logo) to go with the silver stripes.
Outstanding looking *Bruins // Jets // Habs & Preds* jersey’s here. But as long these concept designers continue to incorporate the old school red & green colours on the *New Jersey Devils* jersey, it will forever top my personal favourites list.

Some of the other videos...the logos are way too big, too much going on as well in a day and age of less is more (i.e. new NBA jerseys by Nike wow just wow)
I do like the pens jersey how they switched colors on the beak and triangle, but i'm surprised that they didn't make your top 5. Tampa's jersey i like because the bolts on the sleeves makes it really stand out. Montreal's jersey i liked because it looks like they're paying homage to the maroons. Ottawa's jersey, they could've made the "o" white. If the caps alternate and reverse retro jerseys had a child, that would be it.
The Leafs concept reminds me of the jersey the wore in 1927-1930 and the winter classic jersey from 2014
As a devils fan I generally dislike most concepts people make, but this one was absolutely perfect in my opinion

This Red Wings jersey concept is very similar to their Centennial Classic jersey.
On the Islanders one you put the 4 stripe logo on one side and the Nassau County flag and it would be straight fire

On the Columbus jersey I would make the top and bottom strips red

The shoulder of the Preds jersey is a circle because that’s how it is on the Tennessee state flag

Growing up in Philadelphia my second favorite team was the North Stars and I would definitely by the Dallas Jersey.
Now, my second favorite team is the Colorado Avalanche.

A couple of things that stood out. The Calgary Flames jersey, with the thick white collar, reminds me of the Kansas City Chiefs. The silver in the Kings jersey makes me think Sacramento, not LA. The Tampa concept once again invokes Quicksilver - not a bad thing at all. Seattle misses something without the red accents. Columbus and Winnipeg are awesome!
