Brought back a tear or three as reminded me of my Dads 1971 Super he got it running and then it sat in the garage for 20 + years and then he scrapped it!

Seen this car at a few meets around auckland and it looks absolutely incredible! One day I'll have the moolah to buy my own but until then I'll enjoy this fabulous car vicariously through videos like this

Even a tiny boxy car is beautiful when it is an Alfa

All it needs now is an unpainted vale cover, bumpers and original wheels.

You sound like a fun chap. Have all those, prefer not to. Feel free to build your own as you wish.

@@105_Squared Thanks for the unexpected response. No personal thing here. The bumpers contributed so much to the iconic lines for me. I grew up with that and the overhead cam covers. I have too many projects for my age, so I dote on my 1988 Carrera G50 3.2. First car was an Alfa though and I have a soft spot. Caused many moist spots too.

No way! No bumpers is a much better look for these and has become iconic over the years. Like the black grill and wheels as well. This is a wonderful build!
Andre sounds like the type of guy that that would tell me that the Porsche crests on the center caps of my classic 911 were on “wrong” because they weren’t pointed towards the valve stems. I love the look you get when you tell them that they are set “wrong” just for people like them. On occasion I’ve also been known to say Porsche with only one syllable. Gasp!
