The natural environment is very spectacular and beautiful. Chinese people are very knowledgeable about construction and can easily walk and play. Shaking the wooden bridge is also very interesting, and the lunar elevator is so cool. Not as dangerous and fatigued as exploration, it's great.
Thanks so much for your lovely comment and for taking the time to watch!! It was a wonderful experience and we’re already excited to return to Zhangjiajie again in the future! The wooden bridge certainly was interesting 🙈
Oh my god, what happened to you? If you shoot a video to explain why you are so handsome now! How did you meet that lady! I believe it must be more attractive than traveling in that country! 👍🤩👌
Awww hahaha you’re soo kind!! Thank you for your kind words… yes a little bit of weight loss since the Kuala Lumpur vlogs 🙈 thanks for noticing, and my gf Nina will be making an appearance every now and then!!

The legend goes that an immortal from ancient Chinese heavens accidentally dropped his divine whip to the mortal world, which then transformed into this winding stream. Have you heard of the famous Chinese mythological TV series "Journey to the West"? Many scenes from it were actually filmed in Zhangjiajie.
18:20 What you are drinking is brown sugar ginger tea, it is a tea with health-preserving effects. It can improve rheumatism, waist and leg pain and regulate women’s menstruation. 😂
nice video, really immersive! you seemed a bit winded at the end 😅 were you able to see the glass bridge and walkways? the area is really huge and some hikers just like to do things by foot which takes over a week. if you only had 3 days, it's really tough to see it all.
Thank you very much for your lovely comment!! Oh it was so tiring! 😝 we both want to learn mandarin for when we return to China! Love the language and it will be easier for us to navigate and speak to locals and natives 🙈 We unfortunately didn’t manage to find the area with the glass bridge, but we’re already thinking about coming back to China again as soon as we can to experience that! 😍 hey, thanks so much for watching too!! 💙
@@kierantravels you know a few words, that's enough to get started. translation apps are pretty good nowadays too, more than enough to get general questions answered. just don't be afraid to ask for help. if they are not busy most will often go out of their way to help. regarding zhangjiajie, there's actually two areas, the zhangjiajie park where you were at, and tianmen mountain which is about an hour away but actually closer if you stayed in zhangjiajie city since you can take the lift directly from the city to the mountain(very long one). the glass bridge at zhangjiajie is a bit touristy so no big deal missing it. there is a glass skywalk at tianmen mountain that is insane. not sure if it's worth going back since you already saw most of it anyways when there's so many other places to check out in china. hope you checked out beijing and xian on your trip ;)
At 17:26, the man selling fish to be put in the pond nearby may look meaningless, but in fact, this has something to do with Buddhism. Those who buy fish to release them into nature will be credited with doing something good to increase their well-being in the karma balance balance sheet. This concept is called 放生 in Chinese, which you can see on the billboard of the hut selling the fish. Honestly, I won't buy fish there because, you see, the pond is right next to the hut, so the seller can simply scoop them up and put them right back into the tank when nobody is around. That's juicy money at almost no cost! Joke aside, this is not wild speculation because there will be more and more fish in the pond to the point where no more fish can be accommodated, so why not scoop them back into the tank to recycle?🤣
Haha that’s a very fair point! Interesting to hear about the meaning behind the releasing of the fish too… Thank you so much for sharing!! I hope they don’t scoop them back to after 🙈🙈
