It's quite surprising that they don't allow south koreans in Pyongyang restaurant in Vladivostok. I am local and I've been there with my Korean bosses from Samsung headquarters in 2015 when I was working for Samsung.
For a government establishment, this restaurant looks shabby. I think the staff immediately realized that bloggers had come and did not want their establishment to be filmed for the general public. There are many Korean restaurants in Vladivostok and turning down a rich South Korean guest because of ideological differences is too impractical for a Korean.
Amazing trip Yan, you have introduced the lesser part of Russia and it’s culture to us. So happy to learn from your TH-cam Yan, take care and definitely looking forward to more of your travels ❤

It's so heartwarming to see so many diverse people being great and kind to each other even if they can't converse so well! Humans can be so wonderful.
This is top tier! The best travel blogger out there 😮
This Tajik-Russian shop looks so nice.
Thank you again Yan for sharing your travels and your forever lasting good mood 😁
Really enjoying your trip from Russia to China. The people seem so nice and fun. And love seeing these cities.
Congratulation on reaching EP 100! I hope you all the best on your future journey and look forward to new China content!
Hello from Thailand. I appreciate your clips. They’re so fun and educated for me.
It's cute how you call adults "uncles" and "aunties", because that's what russian kids do, call strangers uncle or aunt :) Greetings from South Ural!
all Asians do that! everyone is aunty and uncle.
It's the same in South Africa.
Russia is a multicultural (over 100 nationalities) country like China (about 56 nationalities). Most of people are friendly and hospitable, and don't give a F about politics. They live their regular life. PEACE y'all.

every men of all ages fall in love with this cute, beautiful, polite, bright-smiling chinese girl... keep making good videos.
I love your videos. This one is especially interesting. I don't know any TH-camr has done this trip. I enjoy seeing the differences between a Chinese border town and a Russian border town. I can't wait for your next video. Thank you so much. Have a safe weekend and a fun week.
👏👏👏
Yan, thank you for the many beautiful, insightful impressions from Vladivostok to Heihe! What nice people! So, it was very relaxing for me too...
Greetings from "zombie" Germany!🤝
Little wonder common people can co-exist warmly and happily Yan. Thanks for the vlog, enjoy your splendid journey!! 👍👍💐
Interesting journey into eastern russian. Great job as always.
My wife is traveling to southern china next week from usa. I bought her a dji action camera like yours to document her travels. She's going to study your excellent video editing methods to better show the journey.
I’ve been waiting for your next post!! Thank you! (And by the way, the music you choose for your drone shots of the beautiful landscapes is really cool!)

It's quite surprising that they don't allow south koreans in Pyongyang restaurant in Vladivostok. I am local and I've been there with my Korean bosses from Samsung headquarters in 2015 when I was working for Samsung.
Probably a more recent development since the tension between the north and the south is pretty tight right now
@LisaTao maybe
Yeah @@LisaTao
For a government establishment, this restaurant looks shabby. I think the staff immediately realized that bloggers had come and did not want their establishment to be filmed for the general public. There are many Korean restaurants in Vladivostok and turning down a rich South Korean guest because of ideological differences is too impractical for a Korean.
Amazing trip Yan, you have introduced the lesser part of Russia and it’s culture to us. So happy to learn from your TH-cam Yan, take care and definitely looking forward to more of your travels ❤
I haven't seen locals as nice and hospitable as those you've met in that part of Russia. That is so humbling.
Wow! Episode 100! You truly have a skill and talent of showing the world of cultures in such an elegant way! Supporting you always! 🙏🏼🤍
Thank you so much! 😊
I wish I was as outgoing as you to go out and have adventures and meet new people. A couple of videos ago when you met the Chinese Korean man I was cautious about strange men, but because you are friendly and brave you made a new friend. Seeing all of the wonderful people you have met on your journeys makes me smile. Especially the man from Tajikistan, Sahib. He is a lovely soul and I wish the best for him, his family, and his business. 😊
What a journey! So long, but I’m glad you made it. I felt strangely comforted when you went back over the river to china, although the Russians are lovely people. So much fresh produce on both sides of the river it was wonderful to see. 😊 thank you again for sharing your story
I have the same feeling when Yan went back over the river to China.
❤
Russians are very reserved in many ways but once they get to know you there are few people more kind, generous and fun to be around. The men will not be found humble and the women strive to always look their best. You need to attend a Cookout/BBQ at -30c Yan. I used to take coupe (2nd class) or platzkart like you did here. I preferred platzkart because it was more fun.
Thanks for the video!
It's very interesting to see Russia through the eyes of a Chinese tourist))
Greetings from Vladivostok.
Thank-you for this lovely video.
Most of us will not have the opportunity to see these places, so it's wonderful to at least watch and enjoy 💖🙂
Your videos always made my day..
Thanks Yan, in my opinion, you're the best youtube-travelers in China and maybe also in east asia
The early morning market at the end of the video was amazing. A wonderful display of fruit, vegetables, and bakery. The old milk churns reminded me of when I worked on a dairy farm many years ago. We used to leave them at the roadside for collection each day (1963!!). Your friendly nature brings out the best in people ❤ 😂.
Hi Yan... Lovely as usual... Unique... the lovely people you meet along the way... simply fantastic
Thank you for sharing your travel with us. I didn't know about your channel. We lived and worked some time ago almost 1 year in Bratsk. We have so many good memories of the simple Russian people and families and all the children in the детский дом in Padun. How beautiful it is, when people can live peacefully together and forget about all the crazy politics .... Keep on filming and exploring..... Best greetings from Florida ....
Beautiful and brilliant Yan, I am so moved by your work. Tears fall easily when I watch your work. Not from sadness but because of the beauty of it all. The people, the landscape. Stunning always.
Great content, as you always do.
Thank you 🥰
really original & clear, simple details. thank you.
Your channel is a pearl in the internet. Thank's for sharing your impression, little Chinese. Greatings to all the Chinese, Russians, Koreans and Tajiks in this video from Germany. You are all fine people.
I am watching all your videos from India. You're so lovely and with you we're all travelling wherever you go
Thank you for posting your videos, they are great to watch, they make us learn about other cultures and customs, a hug straight from Brazil
20:10 - he says: come visit us and be a guests, you're welcome.
I watched your video with great great pleasure. It is immediately obvious that you are a very good person. And good people are attracted to those who are as warm-hearted as you are. Good luck and greetings from Russia!
I'm from Phoenix, Arizona USA and I visited Harbin, China. I went to the morning street market and everybody just stared at me. The young people were very curious and nice. They wanted to take a picture with me because they said I was a foreigner. I saw Russians there and I thought they looked like Americans, but I am sure they would disagree.
And what is your confidence based on? I'm Russian and would calmly take a photo with anyone who offered, stop living in stereotypes, bro
@Elite2Delete What are you specifically talking about??? You make no sense.
No why, Russians generally look really like Americans. Why would we look different?
These videos are in invaluable and beautiful to watch. Sometimes it seems like I'm am there experiencing life with you, but you get to do all the talking hahaha!!!
I enjoyed watching this so much. Thanks for bringing us along.
Thanks
Thank you!!! 🥰
Drunky guy in the train was just frienfly chatting: he was excited to meet Chinese; he told that he was working as a guard on Vladivostok market where he have heared chinese language frequently; he asked if You are married and if You drink alcohol ^_^
I really enjoy all your videos. Thank you so much for keeping us updated on your various visits. Bless you good health. With a lots of love ❤️ from all of us.
Such a wonderful journey. Thank you
Sleeping in the transsiberian train or crossing the Amour river is for us, in France, quite mythical! Seeing the similarities and the différences of russian ans chinese cities is also very interesting! Thank you so much, Yan, for sharing those nice expériences with us, and take care! Kind regards🙂
Hi Yan thank you for another amazing video i was surprised at how friendly the Russian people really are and how clean things were and the amount of fresh produce on offer you are one brave soul for taking on a 27 hr train ride .All the best Alec.

What a nice generous man that shopkeeper was.
They're so polite and hospitable, especially the store owner who gave you fruits and foods for free. Wish can visit this place too , suffice for now , thru your vlogs . Tnks Yan❤🎉
By the way, your good on the color of your jacket ! Its one of my fav. color on my clothing being a far east asian skin color. 😊
Beautiful sights and sounds and no doubt smells on another captivating video ,young Yan ! My overriding thought about this latest travelogue is that people are nice and happy and friendly no matter which piece of land you step onto from another ...decency and happiness is free and is highly contagious . Thank you once again from Scotland and continue to entertain us with your fantastic storytelling ...best wishes .
awesome! Please keep up the long videos. They are the main reason I watch your channel.
Lovely people and trip, dear one.
Another quality video!... You are like a little female chinese version of myself. I'm currently in Mexico. Next week in El Salvador.
Another absolutely superb travelog video.
We really enjoy seeing all the local street food you try.
Yan for another fascinating video. It is heart warming to know that common folks are nice and friendly. Keep going and wish you safe journey.
