I think this scene is a perfect encapsulation of their relationship, totally devoid of real sexual passion but using connection as the only tool she has to get what she wants, she’s checked out from Walt but also checked out from herself too. But everyone’s pretending the opposite is true.
@@RayOrly-fs3grI always thought gus was a poor businessman and unlikable. But the reason people like Jesse is because he was relatable and through his character arc we are shown time and time again he has the biggest heart in the whole show
@sugma6723 but still doesn't hesitate to manufacture and sell drugs, and has a body count higher than 0... Then he evades justice. In real life people would despise a guy like this, but Paul gave a very relatable portrait
I think it was a better choice, the idea of someone doing what he did, at 50, it sells the underestimation side of it really well, people tend to think middle aged and older people are less capable of big things, unfortunately.
I think Aaron Paul's performance is interesting here. Most of the others are almost 1 to 1 with the show, but not his. His actions, costume and his acting in the show is likely what kept him around.
This is common knowledge now but they originally intended to kill Jessie off at the end of season one. But they were so blown away by what Aaron was able to do with Jessie they realized they had to keep him around.
While there were so many incredible performance turned in by the BB cast, Dean Norris's portrayal of Hank was just surreal; you never questioned for a moment he was ASAC Schrader, you never even saw him as an actor. He WAS the character. Phenomenal.
@@Splinter05x I mean yes cheating on her husband and giving all Walt's money to Ted is bad. But I pretty much believe that someones husband secretly building a drug empire and putting everyones life in danger is a way way worse thing.
@giovannaputhumana8460 Totally. She immediatly wanted to divorce Walter when she found out he was a producing drugs. Walt never let her go and even put her deeper in the business. I mean anyone who put into the illegal drug business by their spouse would go crazy or do things just as worse.
@@holeesheet6530 Right, also Skyler initial plan was to give money all to Ted so the IRS don’t tail on her and Walt’s car business, so again she saved them by stepping up
no. when his age is 50 51 and 52, to show these 3 ages, exactly 25 strips of bacon is used. If his age had been 41, 42 and 43, exactly 19 strips of bacon would have been used. this show sucks 0/10👎👎👎
It was going to be in California and filmed in New Mexico, but it made hiding the fact that they were in New Mexico hard for the desert scenes, so they just changed to New Mexico
i kinda wish they kept the part of Hank talking about how smart Walt was and the things he could have accomplished in the show. Cause i mean the family has to know how much potential he had and how he kind of gave it all up but nobody really talks about it in the series except Walt himself a couple of times
Skylar White was made to play a sexist, easy to hate architype of a character from the get go, the fact that this is the scene they made Anna Gunn act out for the audition is proof of that
I cant believe they made poor Anna do THAT scene for the audition tape!!! 🤣🤣
Shhh.. I'm almost finished..
I’m not. 😂
Anna is such an underrated actress I mean those choices are so natural and great she is amazing
Yea ❤...people hate her because of the character 😂 which means she did her job well
People disliked Skyler but liked Jesse, a drug dealer and murderer, and loved Gus, more of the same. Weird choices.

Hank was so great. Excellent. Crazy how Walt is initially 40 in the early reads instead of 50.
Possibly because Bryan couldn’t really pull off 40… unless it’s a hard 40.

@@skillet9141yeah no kidding. I'm 37 and Cranston easily looks 20 years older than me in BB. No possible way he could have passed as 40.
Anna must have thought she was auditioning for a very different product hahaha
Breaking Back
Hank is just hank irl😹
Nope, he's just such a good actor that he made you think that. Watch him acting elsewhere, it's wild.
Yeah I’ve seen interviews he seems like Hank to be fair 😂
Half the actors in America just play themselves in different scenarios. The Bill Burr school of acting. 😂
He went to Harvard too, memorizing some script is probably a breeze for him.

It seems like he didn't have a script, but more of an idea of what it was about.

Wow dean Norris killed that audition
although he was typecast, his acting abilities are fantastic
I heard calling his friend "Gomey" was his idea, they probably loved that on top of his performance.
Why did they make Anna Gunn read that one 😭
LMAO FR bless her heart
Vince is a menace
its the first ep isnt it
LMFAOOOO FR.
I could not get through that with a straight face! Especially with everyone else laughing 😂
I think Dean Norris just went in and acted like himself 😅
Crazy how much they toned down all the dialogue before the first season started.
its fun to see the table reads with the real episode to see how they shave it down, efficient!! they do it in better call saul too
@@bugdomrulezI wish there were more table-reads… I loved them for Breaking Bad and BCS. It’s sad there are only like 4 in total.
People hating Skyler that much actually shows how great of an actress Anna Gunn is.
The hate is completely undeserved I don’t understand it
Skyler was the only reasonable character in the show (minus all children of course)

I feel like Jesse's outfit and gloves in this video are the same exact ones he wore on Criminal Minds lol
7:32 Damn they saved a little $ on bacon by changing Walt’s age from 41 to 50. I mean by the end of the show 52 in bacon letters is less than 43.

@@therealKratosfrfr Walt Junior approves though, the more bacon the better.
If there is a character that I cannot imagine with another actor,
(Even less than Walter White) it is Hank
Aaron hadn't quite found jesse during his audition! Hes absolutely stellar in that role!!!
In the Betsy audition they had walt turning 40. Guess they expected to cast someone younger until they saw bryan.
And the Jesse audition
Im interested on what could have been with the failed auditions
Nah I'd break bad
Interesting that it was originally set in san bernadino
You caught that too?! I’m so glad they changed the scenery.

Anna is so talented
Pretty easy to see how Aaron Paul got the gig. He was damn near pitch perfect from the jump.
The original script had age 50, but they later did 60 for Walt to then correct him. Another comedic touch by Vince.
Skyler's actress did so good. Everyone hated her.
1:45 Anna Gunn was perfectly casted!
dean norris just legendary
They should ask Anna to read this one:😂😂😂
My name is Skyler White Yo
My husband is Walter white Yo
Damn… this makes me want to do an audition tape. Lol.
Aaron Paul out here looking like Jack Nicholson 😂😂
Aaron Paul out here looking like John Bender
Wow, Hank is already HANK! Man I miss new shows!
Aaron did it better on finale acting scenes
Jessie we need to produce more balenciaga
I expect Dean to say "Sussy Baka"
I just realized what was happening

shared and re uploaded so much quality is terrible
These are the original videos, they just used camcorders and it was in like 2006/2007 so the quality wasn’t great anyway
Wow
It's all Hank's fault he died and Walt got in the drug business. He should never have taken him on that ride along 😮😮
How i wonder what the other Walt Jr's audtioned? Normal talking? Lol jk.
He had to eat breakfast for his audition
