Aron was crazy at this table!! Even left Anna with tears in her eyes. If you look at her during this scene, she is shocked about the whole conversation.
Acting is definitely far more "real" than the general word around the campfire makes it out to be. The emotions are genuine. At least... they are when the actors are worth more than the price of a cheap beer if ya know what I'm sayin'. And the cast & crew of BB and BCS are CERTAINLY fine, rare, well-curated spirits... if ya know what I mean. 💪😎✌️

Knowing they've done 100s of these together (well how ever many episodes they've done table reads for) and she can still be moved by him and the fact that he can go to that place even during a table read...hell once Bryan turned and fully engaged with him reminded me that these two are an actual iconic duo. Yeah actors like him have to put themselves in that situation, in his mind he had to believe that he actually lost someone so props to him for being such a good actor
They are all such good actors but no one could have done what Aaron Paul just did for his scene at a table read to get so real and natural making others in the room cry
He had to have experienced a really traumatic event in his life to be able to pull that off because it's very believable. When he's sobbing here- he's thinking about that event. What an amazing actor. And brave for being able to go back there and face it...especially in front of all of your peers.

And it helps to think of something that helps you cry. Be it a traumatic or happy experience of your own or injustice of the world for example. For example i can cry on command thinking about the memories with our dog that we got when i was 7. Surfacing your emotions like that is not a handstand, humans are not machines.
I absolutely love how breaking bads screenplays are written. Theres so much humor and personality in the scene descriptions and it really shows how this shows writing is really on another level
I dont know if it was by design, but I like how they seated the cast members. To the left of Walt are his family members and innocents, and to his right are his ties to the criminal world.
It truly goes to show how good the writing is, that you can watch them just reading the script and it's all just there. I've never watched a show like this, since. Phenomenal stuff
The script is written in a super interesting way, it's less robotic than most scripts I've heard or read (not that I've heard or read that many) and includes a lot of reflection from the narrator or reader of the script. Pretty cool.

Literally the only thing I'm disappointed about is Dean not putting in the energy we see in the show lmaoo Also I'm so sad after the Walt and Jesse talking scene that no one gave Aaron a hug lmaoo, I know its just acting, but like we saw in the Anna Gunn "Walt kidnaps Holly" scene this shit becomes very real for the actors very fast.

Every time I see him I sense this feeling...that this person I am watching on my screen is truly alive and emotional, fragile but also so strong, really makes me feel relatable to him and also hope that there are more people in the world truly as alive as him... It's so weird seeing Anna and Aaron having a good chuckle and exchanging smiles when in the show there is not a single scene with the two of them where Skyler isn't staring daggers at him and Jesse isn't wishing he were anywhere else but in front of Skyler.
The only scenes they even had together that I can remember are the one in the first season where Skyler tells Jessie not to sell pot to Walt, and then there was one in the last season when Walt asks Jessie to stay for dinner and Skyler starts acting like a crazy person at the dinner table. Did they even have any other scenes together other than those two?

20 years ago, I saw a really good series. And now I got two series I love alot. The name of that series is Omerta. They used 4 languages. Italian, English, French and Spanish. You got a lot of complot, you got corruption, infiltration, one cup become a junkie, the history is happen in Montreal and international, you will see Mafia,Bikers, and Cartel and a nice history of love between a daughter of a mob and a chief of the Police. Really good stuffs and you can see that on TH-cam and free. I watched again on TH-cam 6 years ago. I hope is still there.
No one told him, but Aaron Paul still cried in front of everyone without caring what anyone thinks about him. I think that's one of the most important qualities of being a great actor, he definitely deserved the Emmy award. I also noticed that Aaron paul cried more here than he did while the scene was actually being filmed.

All this shows me is how intentional their facial expressions are when they are acting. The fact that they are able to read the lines without making the same facial expressions really opens my eyes
Aaron Paul is such a phenomonal actor, I actually can't tell if he's bored or if he's channeling the way he wants Jessie to look and sound during the actual take, I'm leaning towards the latter because of the way he would look over at Bob like @20:17 the yawning and eye rolls are exactly like he does it with Jessie in the actual episode, I love that.
I am predicting Aaron Paul is going to win an Oscar someday in the near future. Watching this in December of 2023 I can still watch this show, every episode of every season at any given moment in the day. That's what happens when they make the best show on TV. Hats off to the whole cast and crew

I love seeing this side of a performance, always after I've watched the show/films etc. It's heart warming and a happy environment to see all the staff are good friends, laughing and smiling - when the show itself was so dark. It's brilliant
Bryan and Aaron are just magic together. Its shocking how good their scene talking about Mike is during a table read. You can see other actors are moved by that scene. And, Bob in full Saul costume is a nice touch.

I just wanted to leave a comment to appreciate all of this. I've never watched a table read for this long, I enjoyed this video and the series very much.
I like Dean's reaction at 37:47. So clearly his first time reading it and he's like "damn I'm gonna be sick"

Man Jesse is always been my favorite character. To see him put this much effort just in a table read man makes me just love him even more.

I need this lady to narrate my life. I love hearing the motivations that absolutely come thru in the final product.
All this shows me is how intentional their facial expressions are when they are acting. The fact that they are able to read the lines without making the same facial expressions really opens my eyes

My God, Aaron Paul is intense, even at a table read! He totally deserved all the awards he received for this series.
Aaron Paul is such a phenomonal actor, I actually can't tell if he's bored or if he's channeling the way he wants Jessie to look and sound during the actual take, I'm leaning towards the latter because of the way he would look over at Bob like @20:17 the yawning and eye rolls are exactly like he does it with Jessie in the actual episode, I love that.

Same here. I resisted watching it until a couple of years ago. I didn’t think it would interest me..boy was I wrong! Best tv series EVER. Amazing on every level. I doubt anything will ever come close.

Bryan and Aaron are just magic together. Its shocking how good their scene talking about Mike is during a table read. You can see other actors are moved by that scene. And, Bob in full Saul costume is a nice touch.
