Looks like a rattle can paint job. Overall great job on the restoration, just need to spend some more time on wet sanding or invest in a paint delivery method.

I don't believe for one minute these models are found where ever this person "finds them". I mean really. The models all look like that someone put paint remover on them and allowed it to partially activate. That's why most of the cars look similar when "Found". I collect Maisto models. I have 50 1/18 mostly Maisto models. Most of mine have been out of the box only once or twice. They are still mounted on the pedestal.
