- Kacha’s story is from a time when both gods and demons were mortal, existing as warring tribes. However, there is a turn of events when the preceptor of the demons, Shukracharya is blessed with the knowledge of sanjeevani which he uses to bring demons back to life. To learn the secret that has been bringing their enemies back to life, Brihaspati the teacher of the gods sends forth his son Kacha into the land of the demons. Unlike any other spy, Kacha walks into enemy territory as himself, risking his life to fulfill his promise to the gods.

इसमें क्या है, कि भगवान भार्गव जो महर्षि भृगु के पुत्र थे उनका जन्म का उशना या उशनस था। लेकिन जब मृत संजीवनी से असुरों को जिंदा करते रहे तो त्राहि त्राहि मचती रही और सभी शिकायतें भगवान शिव तक पहुंचती रहीं।जिससे भगवान अत्यंत क्रोधित हो उठे। और उन्होंने भार्गव उशना को स्मरण कर लिया। वे प्रकट हुए, लेकिन भगवान का क्रोध देखकर डर गए, और डर के मारे अत्यंत सूक्ष्म रूप बनाकर भगवान के त्रिशूल में छुप गए। भगवान ने समस्त सृष्टि में उन्हें ध्यान दृष्टि से ढूंढा लेकिन वे मिले नहीं तब उन्हें ज्ञात हुआ वे उनके ही त्रिशूल में ही छुप गए हैं इसलिए सृष्टि में मिल नहीं रहे हैं। तब क्रोधित शिव ने त्रिशूल उठाकर उनको अपनी विशाल हथेली पर गिरा लिया और मुंह में डालकर निगल गए। उशना उनके पेट में पहुंचे तो तपी शिव की योगाग्नि से जलने लगे, उन्हें अत्यंत कष्ट होने लगा। तब वे चीखने चिल्लाने लगे, क्योंकि इतने कष्ट से तो कोई भस्म ही हो जाता। तब माता पार्वती और गंगा माता ने भगवान से दया की प्रार्थना की, लेकिन उन्होंने नहीं सुनी। ऋषि उशना की पीड़ा बढ़ती जा रही थी और इधर माताओं की पीड़ा उनकी चीख पुकार सुनकर बढ़ती जा रही थी। वे दोनो शिव जी के पीछे जिद कर के पड़ गईं। प्रार्थना करके भगवान का क्रोध शांत किया। तब शिव ने ऋषि उशना को बाहर आने की अनुमति दी। उन्हें कोई रास्ता मिल नहीं रहा था, तो ढूंढते वे लिंग मार्ग से बाहर आए, और बाहर आकर भगवान की स्तुति की। भगवान प्रसन्न हुए। उन्होंने ऋषि से पूछा कि आप ऐसा क्यों कर असुरों को लाभ पहुंचा रहे हैं, तब ऋषि ने उन्हें बताया कि वे तो अपना कर्तव्य ही कर रहे हैं, सृष्टि के आरंभ में आप ही ने मुझे दैत्यों के गुरु होने का कार्य दिया था, वे वही कर रहे हैं। शिव के उदर में तप अग्नि में तप के ऋषि उशना और प्रतापी हो चुके थे तब शिव ने उन्हें उनकी बढ़ी हुई योग्यता के कारण और वरदान दिए।
भगवान के पेट में से उनके लिंग मार्ग से बाहर आने के कारण उसके बाद उनका नाम शुक्राचार्य हुआ, क्योंकि वे शुक्र की तरह बाहर आए थे🙏🚩
