Thanks, this video is helpful. Let us know if you got as much mileage from the Metzlers as you got from the Elite 4s. I have a 2017 Springfield and I got 15,000kms out of the rear tire an about 17,000kms out of the front. Nowhere near 25,000kms.

@@danielgoguen8622 I’ve been riding my triumph tiger a lot lately so only got about 5,000 kms on my metzelers on my indian so far. I’m pretty sure they won’t last as long as the Dunlops, but I’m very happy with the wet weather grip that I won’t be going back to Dunlops. Gonna stick with the Cruisetecs :)

I thought the right side adjustment was for belt tightening and left side was for belt alignment. ?? Thank you, great video.

That is correct. Did I say something different in the video?

@@eazyontwowheels, thanks for the response. Yes when you discuss tightening the belt you start with the right side. Then you state that you have to also tighten the left side the same amount so the wheel does not get misaligned. I can find where that is in the video if you would like.
Then later you mention aligning the belt with the left side only after the tension is correct. This part is correct.

@@bigdbassn4489 ah yes I like adjusting the left side roughly the same amount when I’m adjusting the tension from the right side. So once the tension is correct, you’ll only need to adjust the left side a little to get the alignment right :)

@@eazyontwowheels Oh ok, understood. I just assumed that the left side adjusting bolt was for the belt only. Thanks again for the response and video!

Hi: Thanks for your videos. Have you ever removed or replaced exhaust i have taken exhaust out having problem mounting it. I have a chief vintage 2015.

I’ve done it many times. Some lube (wd-40 or a rust prevention oil like acf-50) where the slip-on mounts the header will help a lot in getting it off and on easy.

It's an ABS sensor not TPMS. The TPMS is in side the wheel

lol. If I said tpms in the video somewhere, that was obviously a slip of the tongue. My bad :). I have another video of how to program a new tpms with the bike, when the old one runs out of battery.
