Thank for the tutorial! measure 16, 46 and 47 have a few note differences from my sheet music; I like what you have. Appreciate your music and teaching!
@@boltonguitarstudio3115 measure 16: second beat C instead of A; measure 46: beat 2 and 3 A instead of G; measure 47 beat 3 C instead of B. My sheet music says Leo Brouwer: copy right 2000 Chester Music???
Just checked my versions of this piece - I used a 2012 version that somebody sent me the other versions are Max Exchig versions all three have slight differences. Seems to be a problem with Brouwer pieces. Just play the version that you prefer.
Great tutorial, thanks! Really helped me with the middle section which I find really difficult! Love Bolton, my first girlfriend lived in Accrington and my Mum was born in Blackburn.
Thank you so much Simon your a brilliant teacher and player , I was really getting stuck at this last bars 28 onward but you've sorted it it many many thanks to you .
I'm working on this piece with my instructor, and this video was so helpful for the harder part. Thanks for helping me gain confidence to actually get it! Warm regards from Detroit, Michigan!
Hi Simon. I saw a woman who played that super stretch part by putting a barre on the 7th and doing the rest on the 10th fret. It sounded acceptable to me at least. Doing the other i risk hurting my hand! If one had a 640mm Kevin Aram guitar perhaps. When i have a long practice i often put a bag of ice on the left wrist. Does wonders. Thanks very much for these 3 tutorials. Really like your lessons.
Thank you so much for this tutorial it helped me out tremendously to learn this piece. I now have my juries next week and this will be one of my solo pieces and thanks to your tutorial and my teacher’s instruction I was able to learn it and I’ll be downloading it in next couple of days to my TH-cam channel. Im looking forward to keep growing as a classical guitarist this summer through your tutorials!
We can never thank you enough for this great effort!
thank you Grand PA😍
