    Duck eggs are superior to chicken eggs, I spent 10 years boxing 8 years body building and been power lifting the last 6. I switched to duck eggs in 2015, and its been a huge help, you need less eggs and get better nutrients out of it. You can also do like 3 hen, (not sure how what chicken breed is in PH) but on the low end 150-190 eggs a year per hen. So you will always have plenty of chicken eggs and get a dozen ducks (or less). And you are set.

    • @islesanctum833
      @islesanctum833 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Interesting.in what ways did you find the duck eggs superior
      Thx for reply

    • @houseaccount3293
      @houseaccount3293 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@islesanctum833 Better Nutrient density for sure, better source of calories per egg (more calories) with more nutrients mean you can actually use less eggs to get better macros, which in turn reduces things like calories, Since Duck eggs have higher fat content, and most nutrients being fat soluble vs water soluble. Your body is in a better position to absorb more nutrients when you eat. Duck eggs also tend to have a more creamer and tasty yoke, so if you make meals on a keto diet they are leaps over chicken when eating them and even more so when making keto "bread" with almond and coconut flower. Most of the other benefits are "debatable" as chicken eggs as too close to really have a clear advantage from one over the other. The other benefit to having more ducks is ducks are meatier birds. So, if you have a dozen ducks, let 3 of them hack eggs every year you could raise 3-4 months of meat birds just from maintaining a stock of 20 ducks and slaughtering the rest when they reach the ideal age 7-9 weeks depending on the breed.

I'm falling in love with the Phillipines through your experiences that you capture so well. I am going to plan a long vacation with my wife in the next year or two. After we retire in a few more years, I'd like to "winter" in the Phillipines with my wife and enjoy the weather, people, and places that you capture so well. We also lived in Chicago and now live in Texas. Wishing you continued success with your YouTubing!!

    Hi Cory. David here in southern Japan. A fun glimpse into a typical Sunday at your house. I think I counted 4 cats and 2 dogs. They must be fun to have around. As a cat owner myself, I enjoy mine but they sure want to eat every time I enter the kitchen. Great seeing you feed your cats real meat! Most cat food is junk. Interesting to hear your experience with all your chickens. I’ve considered getting some myself, but haven’t yet. They sure seem like quite a bit of work. I tend to agree. If you’re only breaking even, not sure if it’s worth it since it seems they take up a huge area of your property unless nutrition is significantly superior.

    the problem with filipino marriage is that you have to feed 120 cousins when you are not a millionaire yourself and within a few months, your savings goes to $0 zero. Or you have to tell her, you can only take care of her and once in a while afford to pay for expenses for her mom n dad. Marrying and living in philipines is not going to work out for foreigners unless the foreigner makes a million dollars/year, in order to meet her family's expectations and avoid being called that 'cheap ass foreigner'.

      So you’re insinuating that all Filipinos are the same? And they’re all in poverty? Because it sounds rather racist to me. My family is very wealthy, and they have a bigger house to me and more vehicles than me and own more businesses than I do. Point being is they not ever asking me for any money.

      That is Your Experiences with Filipina. Mine is way different.
      I invited them at my house that’s of course I prepare food for them. I rarely even can catch up with them because of their busy life.
      My parents are not their..
      If your experiences is that then mine is not the same.
      But in our culture- we always give. Even my parents gives to relatives when they need too and want too.
      We give because we live to give.
      Even poor Filipinos give.. that’s Filipino- we are a giver!
      My parents helped a lot of people.
      If you don’t want to give because you also has need- then you don’t have to…
      They will understand as long you explained that to your Filipina. Because what all matters is of course what you needs first.

      @@ItsMe_Philippinesyou are thinking i was talking about you. i'm talking in general, the avg filipinos with 100 cousins and 80% will have no jobs, but would expect help, but if a foreigner is not rich and is not possible to help even if he wants to, cannot will have a hard time with the family, cause everyone wlll be thinking he's just cheap. and if he gives all his savings it can give the family a good life for a year, and then the foreigner will have zero $0 money, from a lifetime of working and saving. In the west, the husband is expected to take care of the wife and possibly her mother and father at most, but not 100 cousins who got no job, and everyone get mad at the foreigner for not taking care of them.
