Honestly, base on some statistics I read. Filipino's has more bachelors degree holder specifically Filipina's compared to US women. No hate. Its just that its too insulting for foreign women to call our Filipina's uneducated or worst to call them slaves. Its good thing that Corey speaks about this topic. Thanks Corey for standing up and defending our Filipina misconceptions about them. 🙂

Calling Filipinas uneducated is a broad topic. Yes, the majority of young Filipinas who marry old foreign ex-pats are uneducated (unfortunately), but in general, most Filipinas who are educated and are working class don't date old ex-pats. This is a very delicate topic and should not be generalized. There are 3 general categories of Filipinas and those who marry old foreign expats belong to one of these 3 categories. And when I say "old ex-pat", Cory doesn't qualify in this group yet (retired seniors).

I am Filipina and I have 6 siblings and we're all college graduates. My dad didn't even finished high school and my mom is a traditional housewife. Yet they managed to give us good education and a better life. He worked abroad for more than 20 years (coming home every 2 years for a 1 month vacation). My mom is the cohesive glue that held our big family together. She taught us family and moral values through actions. A 5 foot woman who never yelled, never whipped her children and ruled her home with gentleness and love. And yet, we were always afraid to disappoint her. I hope every man would be so lucky to find a woman like my mom. Just flexing my Filipina mom!😆😁

You can see her intelligence and I'm not talking about "book" knowledge, but understanding how to live life, have a very good relationship and know how to interact with another, very impressive for such a young age. I've been traveling to the Philippines for 40 years and I can tell you how many people in the US are so misinformed about the Philippines and Filipina's and they don't care to listen or learn, in their minds they just believe they are correct. Alot of people never been there or they have only been to Angeles City and been with bar girls so that is their reference point. My Filipina would take my work boots off everyday and then give me a foot massage and a back massage everyday.

My dad explained that the boy was jealous of what I had. He explained that when some people want what others have but will never be able to get it, they say mean and hurtful comments to make themselves feel better.

He adored her and he did everything that he could for her. The simple logic of treating someone with kindness and respect and receiving the same in return has escaped modern women. It is easier for them to lash out against or try to belittle men and women who have learned how to love each other unselfishly. Unfortunately many of them will never learn.

My advice (and I think I actually have some qualifications in this): Follow the Lord and do whatever it takes within that framework to keep your relationship strong. For those who would put you down, I feel sorry for them and would encourage them to look to you as an example, not a target.

My wife is a Filipina and we have been married for almost 4 years. We met here in America and I had just lost a six figure salary, driving Uber. So she did Not marry me for money. She agreed to marry me because she heard me talking sweetly to my daughter. Also, I was willing to teach her how to drive and being a friend treating her with respect, not treating her a sex object.
We both could not be happier.
I hope you both stay blessed. 🙏

Wow. All I see is a very happy newlywed couple with mutual respect. Regarding education I shake my head at how undervalued education is in the USA and considering our country's wealth it makes no sense to me. Truthfully the topics discussed actually pertain more about couples in the USA, literally it's an auction block.
I'm pretty simple when it comes down to it all, mutual respect and some peace in a place where I believe I can be happy. That's what I want and that's what I'm looking for.
Thank you and I wish you both the best. 👍😎

If anything Queen and happy medium on treatment with one another...
As long as she does what I tell her to do it's all good....
    Haha I WISH!!! 😅
On a serious note, I think that the women in The Philippines are more old school in their demeanor and attitude...
That's fine, I'm old school too, and we treat each other with respect and love for one another...

I'm a Filipina married to American. All decisions and plans are mine. My husband go to work and hand me his paycheck when he gets home on paydays. He cut the grass and trim the bushes because he loves to do it. Banking, insurances, bills, buying cars, buying house, budgeting, house and cars maintenance and all decisions there's to make are mine. I give him a hundred dollars allowance for gas and his cigarettes.
With regards to my English, I'm actually in and out of US courts and immigration. I can speak better than a lawyer. I'm the first person and might be the only person in US social security history that filed and won SSDI case without medical records and without appearance in court. Filipinos in USA have better life than Americans. And most of us are supporting our relatives back home in the Philippines. I sent 90% of my retirement check to the Philippines to care for my parents and relatives who need some help. God is always on my side to help me help them.

But what I love about my husband even I am still at work, he cooks and prepares our food. He can even do the laundry by hand and take care of our children. The moment that you went into detail about how you treated each other like a King & Queen I felt my soul light up. Your beautiful wife taking your shoes off after noticing the level of stress and hard work that you put into making a way for your family was touching. Most women here in the States wouldn't do that, let alone at the very least have a cooked meal ready for her man. This is one of the interesting contents you have had.I am a 36 y.o Filipina from Davao.I am currently living here in Michigan, for almost 4 years now.
I’ve been hearing a lot of discrimination lately online about Foreigners marrying/married to Filipinas which is unfair for us but all I can say is that we Filipinas are mostly good catch for you guys👏😁
Living here I have been seeing and knowing a lot of American girls already.Yes they can be sweet and expressive but they can be very entitled at the same time.
Filipinas just know how to be patient most of the time and would prefer to be calm until we are provoked or annoyed by our men😂🤣
Then we we would like to be heard out😊
I am proud of our culture and I am blessed beyond measure to have such wonderful parents who raised, taught me and instilled in me the good values and most especially in the Spiritual aspect🙏
When it comes to speaking English language, thank God,I am proud to say that I can communicate well with my husband, our families and all the people here that I have met.But of course, every day is a learning process for me still,no matter how old we get we still are going to learn in all aspect right?
I was teaching English online to Japanese students for 3 years and it did really help me to gain confidence in speaking and interacting with foreigners😊
I wouldn’t be where I am at today, receiving compliments from American people here of what a breath of fresh air I am.I do know how to stand my grounds and won’t let anyone discriminate me and the country where I came from.Proud Filipina here!My husband is indeed a lucky guy to have me and of course I am blessed to have him❤

    Hi Corey...Love your videos..
As for my experience with the Filipinos, they are so uncomplicated and always so relaxed and they DO LOVE this way of thinking and living...Any kind of stress or tention or intense talks are not what they prefer...They do not hassle too much to give an impression like they are some kind of Professor or so and do not care about trying to give the impression that they know everything better. And I guess reason for that is that they just keep their energy for relaxing and enjoying life and having fun. And they feel themselves more comfortable around people think and act like that and taking the life as easy as possible. I have a feeling that it is hard for a Filipino to just relax and be themselves with a westerner guy if the guy is not that relaxed and being himself ad a westerner from another culture...Like even when the westerner talks too perfect English, the time with them becomes quickly kinda challenge and they again can not get into that relaxed mood and they feel stressed. As a westerner guy, I do try to keep everything as simple as possible and they feel themselves much relaxed around me. But then I am not the one being himself, right? I am trying to find a balance there and struggling a bit. Well, a relation between two persons from two different worlds is indeed a challenge and needs a bit of adapting. Anyone can give me any advise about that?

LOVE this video. Filipina's are freaking AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, SMART, FEMININE women who appreciate their men and want to take care of them, their homes and families. That is AMAZING! I've met more than a few American men with Filipina wives and they all have heard the same things that you are talking about in your video. None of them were looking for slaves in any way. It's so funny that American women think that men are taking advantage of Filipina's because they aren't intelligent enough to know better - when every one that I know is highly educated and can speak multiple languages! Again Filipina's are AMAZING! You certainly seem to have got an amazing one sir! So happy for you both!
