I’m so grateful for this video!! I’m building my own backyard pond and I wanted to use concrete blocks but was wondering how to cover them, so I thought i might aswell use red bricks but now ima head back to the concrete blocks and cover with the same walking you used. Thank you so much great review and guide!

And there was me thinking I was going mad installing this stuff on my garden wall. So much variation in the tiles. I also fixed using external tile adhesive and got it everywhere! Plus they're black slate tiles!! Given it a nice sealer coat, and it really doesn't look too bad at all. Way better than the wall bare and that in itself was crap and out of line - so using the adhesive gave me a bit of play in lining it all up.
First thing wife said was "there's a few gaps in it!" - so glad a professional has this problem. I even used grinder to shave a few of the edges off to make it sit better. Not an easy job, but I like the look of it.

The wall does look good but it does have its faults which can be rectified but you shouldn’t have to should we 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Landscaper from Melbourne, use that product as well, absolute ball ache doing the corners ! Can also cut a piece in half, mitre each side of the half and then you get a nice clean corner - obviously a lot more work ! Love you channel 👍👍

Haha I'm so glad you made this video as i put the same stuff around our pond and it drove me crazy especially the fact they are all over the place size wise and there were a few that were clearly just shite glued back together.

My neighbour is currently covering their patio wall with these things. They look atrractive until you come to the corners, especially the external corners, where they look exactly like the stick-on bricks they are. For me, I would build up the external corners with actual bricks (sliced to half depth), The corners would look like the corner of a house.. and the tile bricks would only fill in the straight runs. Much neater finish and the tiles look much more like authentic 'stone-walling' than stick-ons.

    • @tidybrickslandscaping
