Hello Gents. I've been skiing Serre Chevalier the past month. A week or so ago I rode up the telecabine with two ski patrollers from Crested Butte, they were here as part of an exchange program with Courcheval, a program that's been running about 30 years now. Apparently Aspen and Chamonix also run the same exchange program. Just wondering if you are also aware of these programs. I think its pretty cool! PS - Doug Coombes once stated there is no such thing as too much snow. Peace!
The Kicking Horse venue is inbounds and publicly accessible, anyone with a lift ticket can send the pyramid. Also, is the Sender/M-Free video delisted? I haven't seen any other content on the Dynastar, jumped the gun perhaps?
Do you guys have opinions about ON3P as a brand? Or the Jeffery 100 skis specifically? I’m looking for a new pair of skis and they look like what I’m looking for, but I can’t find any reviews of the Jeffery 100’s and can hardly find any reviews of the brand itself.
I always take and love your advice - I would ask you two things: I need new boots - I'm a pretty agressive skier, ski 3 weeks every year, I weigh 240 punds, meaning I really need a good and stiff boot - should I go Mach1, or Cochise, will the Lange shadow 130 be too soft? I'm skiing Bonafides. But they have a knock that loosened the top layer - so - when brahma and bonafide out - what should I get? Mantra or...? In awe and respect for your great insight. /Kasper
Thanks! Although I'm not going to be too helpful on the boot recco other than you need to try them on and see what fits better. I will say that there's no need for a Cochise if you're not planning on touring. Mantra M7 is a great replacement for the Bonafide, but if you want to stick with Blizzard, the Anomaly 94 is a ripping ski as well. Nordica Enforcer 94 is right there with them, a bit more versatile than the other two.
@@SkiEssentials thanks - I do love the carving experience of the Blizzards, that I've been on for more or less ten years, both Brahma and Bonafide. So I guess it's the Mantra.... On boots - I'll look at the Lange if Itds stiff enough I think. Thanks !!!!
Our wonderful colleague Emily is living in Aspen these days and did a great job writing out the women's comparisons this year, but alas was unavailable for filming any of the videos. Alli, who we've also loved using in the past, is a new mother and was out on leave during the fall when we shoot these comparisons. For this year, we hope you'll find all the information that you need in the written articles and in the 2025 ski test videos of individual skis. Feel free to reach out with any specific questions! www.skiessentials.com/Chairlift-Chat/cat/Ski-Comparisons
Matt, saying how’s it going, feels right. The second slot should always end with how’s it going, love it guys!
Men’s downhill Kitzbuhel, Canada 1st and 3rd. Jack Crawford from Toronto and Cameron Alexander from North Vancouver.

Haven't heard about the exchanges, but it makes sense! I bet they love it.

It'll be back up soon!

They seem like wonderful skis. We just don't get a lot of opportunities to ski on brands that we don't sell.

10+ ski comparison videos for 2025 mens skis but still none for womens skis. Did I miss them? You guys stop doing them?
