This dialogue "The degree's name is going in mud" just because some businesses just wanted to flow in this trend. As a student I can see what will be the mentality of a student who did want to opt for those courses. All these things are bad for the upcoming generation.

I am an AI/ML engineer. Having cleared my BTech with a lot of hardship & support from my family, my partner & my professors, I can definitely attest to the fact that such people clearly ruin the honor our BTech degree (or any degree for that matter) awards us with.
P. S.: The difficulties I mentioned were not because of my grades, the studies, submissions, relationship or placements, etc. It was related to depression & anxiety..

True .....my friend always shares me reels on why businesses are better than jobs. They say that "we don't like working under another person"........and I am also pursuing btech from the ai/ml branch currently in 4th sem 🙂.
These people don't know how the btech was if they selected the right branch like cs do coding then you will get a job not by getting high grades and the person doesn't get placement and had marks that ruins the name of btech

That was actually a valid point and this is exactly I think as well. Don't mislead youth/people with respect to the degree you have got and opening a franchise on those names. Also, be smart and logical while paying for those huge franchises fees and take the grounded path as Gyan mentioned with tea example!
You are absolutely right sir the value of these degrees in students mind is almost dead because of these so called businessmen they are using these degrees in a wrong way you pointed out a very big blunder that these guys are doing..
I just completed my 12th and I can see how students are vulnerable to these things especially those in a confusion about there career. Even though my friends(including myself) are old now compared to a 5th grade student but still we are still somewhat getting influential to these things eventhough we know what the reality is. It just gives a somewhat negative idea in some corner of the brain. I was not aware about these things happening on social media. Thank you for making me informed about them.

I think it's a very relevant topic in our country today and i appreciate you for speaking up about it.
I think parents should be made aware of all this. Personally I'm seeing a lot of parents literally letting go of their kids with smartphones . They have no clue what kids are doing with the internet they have access to.
Just for the sake of some quiet time, they give away their phones to kids . And these same parents will later penalise their kids for using phones .
Kids have literally stopped playing outdoors!
I mean a late 80s kid, hum bhi bade hue hain, i look back and I feel blessed that our parents brought us up the most organic way.
I'm in no way undermining the capabilities of parents now, in just saying that our childhood was not exposed to the internet era/social media. The parents in this day and age need to be more cautious and pre-planned.

Darne ki koi baat nahi. Hum sab ka support hai aapke saath.
However, bahut saare log aise hote hain jinhone ek particular degree karni nahi hoti. But gharwaale pressurise karke college daal dete hain k tu yahi karega. ″The dreams I could not achieve, I want to see them achieved through my child's eyes″ badi tatti soch hai. Child ke khud ke dreams ke L lag jaate hain. Wo bhi aage apne child se dream poore karwaye to sab yahi generational trauma chalta rahega.
Anyway, Wo log jab passout hote hain, aur engineer/doctor ban jaate hain jaise bhi ghisai pitai karke, supplementary bhar bharke... i mean ek baar degree me aa gaye to jaise taise karke nikal hi jaoge.... toh after that, they feel like frauds among a capable crowd. Jo degree unke paas hoti hai, uska adequate use karne ka confidence unme nahi aata.
And as a result unko us degree ki utni dil se respect bhi nahi hoti because unka koi sapna thode na tha... Gale me daal diya gaya dhol hi to peeta hai koi inspiration thode na thi yeh banne ki.
I'm not saying it justifies them disrespecting their degrees. I'm saying there are reasons which we don't know behind such mentality. And finding those reasons and then ways to correct them should be the ideal solution to this problem.
One such thing is that, jab aise students passout ho jate hain... toh jitna zor us napasand degree ko poora karne me lagaya hota hai, aage utna time aur effort woh uske behalf pe job dhundne ya karne me nahi lagaate. And obviously unko yahi lagta hai ki is se achha to degree na hi karte... aur bhi yahi BTech ChaiWali etc... ya phir koi aur business ya foreign migration ka sochte hain.
My advice is... jab itni G marwayi hai is degree ke liye, to thodi aur marwa lo aur uss se kuchh kamai karne ka poora effort to lagao... koi job nikle bhi to interview dene jane ka hi andar se mann nahi hota to kya ghanta fayda hoga phir?
Anyway. This was a personal rant cause I went through all of this. It took years but now I've gotten so much better at my work. Wo khud ko fraud feel karne wali cheez, kaafi saal tak poori tarah mann se nahi jaati thi... kabhi kabhi depressed hota tha to woh sab dobara aa jata ke kya karna chahta tha aur kya kar raha hu. But phir dekhu to realize hota hai k BC theek to kar raha hu... Jo shaunk the wo sab poore ho rahe hai. Sab mil raha hai. Life set hai. Ab bhi wo 12th class ke time ka purana randirona kyu ro raha hu? Ye better nahi mere liye? Jo karna chahta tha usme kya pata kya hona tha... Jo kar raha hu usme to sahi hi ho raha hai sab kuchh.
And after 7 years of working experience, ajj main kabhi khud ko judge karu k jo main banna nahi chahta tha, aur aaj wahi ban ke usi se apna main source of income le raha hu, to kya main apne kaam ko justify kar bhi raha hu ya yaha bhi degree aur exams ke jaise bas bilkul minimum sa kaam karke, timepass karke din kaat raha hu? To jawab milta k nahi. Ab to jitni jimmedari hai us se zyada hi kar raha hu. Aur itne effort ke results me jo sukoon milta hai uski apni hi feeling hai.
Ab agar regret hota hai to bas ek baat ka... ke jo randirone se upar main aaj utha hu, wahi agar 12th ke baad hi uth gaya hota aur degree ko ussi time serious liya hota to aur pata nahi kitni progress karta... but koi na...

Me 12th passed out hu , 2 saal ho gye 12th pass kiye . Paise ki kmi ke karan aage bsc nhi ki. Ab mobile dukan par hu , monthly 10k dete hai.ab soch raha hu bsc complete kar du or sath me job ki teyari kru . Ya .exam ki teyari kru sath sath kya pta nikal jaye. Ya fir job ka dream dream hi ban kar rhega.govt. job wale ki respect alag h aajkal.

Totally agree with your point of these things on student ’s mindset. In fact I have seen most children scrolling reels and shorts which indirectly affects their thinking at very initial age of their life. Instead of having offline fun with friends and doing some innovative and creative activities, these reels and shorts culture is definitely destroying many potential people. This is not just limited to children, same is true for youths and adults but at least they know when to stop wasting their time.
