A similar thing actually happened in real life! In the 1960s there were very heavy (18 cars) passenger trains that did the Milan to Naples stretch, passing over the Appennine mountains. These were pulled with an E646 electric locomotive, which was rated for 145 km/h. Since it didn't have enough power on its own to climb the Appennines, an E626 (maximum speed 90 km/h) was usually coupled in Bologna and was detached **at speed** at the summit, in the Great Appennine Tunnel, where the line speed was raised to 150 km/h One day the coupler got stuck and so the E626 was dragged at almost double its rated speed for over 50 km before they realized the mistake! Nobody was hurt, but the legend says the crew at the back was a bit dizzy...
Man this reminds me I have a route for the Titfield thunderbolt branch that I need to finish...its not like I've been working on it since TS2010 came out...
It used to be on US Locomotive Works' Trainz website, but it's no longer available, possibly because it was made by the same dude who runs K&L Trainz, and they have a new version of it
Trainmaster: And if I ever catch any of you sneaking into other trains like that I’ll personally send you to some back woods tourist railroad in Pennsylvania 😂. But I like Strasburg!
I'm sure you have heated this comment before but I was curious to know if Frank Frisco 1522 will be upgraded to the new version from K&L Trains and also I got an idea for a temporary switcher K&L Trains has a freeware PRR 0-4-0 or a PRR 4-4-0
Yes he is, but there is like three different versions of the Mohawk on the DLS. One has smoke deflectors, one doesn't, And I think they have different road numbers. So you might have to dig a little.
Would you have an episode were the San Juan has a Day Out With Thomas. If you do have one I suggest you either use the Thomas model from Sodor Island 3D or the DOWT model from Sodor Workshops.
Is it a major coincidence that this resembles the episode from Thomas & Friends where Thomas told Gordon to hurry up, then Gordon purposley dragged Thomas behind him to show him how hard work feels? With the only difference being this one was done on ACCIDENT.
It was unintentional when it was written, but we caught it during the production stage. We just kind of beefed up the reference to it happening to an American tank engine.
What is the Train master trying to tell Ben at 15:22 "...just be glad it's not October." I mean I've seen the Halloween special but I still don't get it.
+Denvertrainz The Ghost tank engine only claims victims during the month of October on that line.......but to the people of San Juan they don't exactly know that. For all they know, engines just go mysteriously missing from that line in October.
+M Turkovich The Ghost tank engine is from a website called "trainzluvr.net". When your there look for Norfolk & Western W6 0-8-0T. That should be it. Watch out though, it is a VERY OLD model and might take some tweaking to get it to work in some newer versions of Trainz
BerkshireRailfanProductions at 15:54 train master said for the tender engines to fetch there own train cars. But shouldn’t Thomas the tank Engine be in the San Juan west to help out while Ben is gone for months
I have a question. In the feature or your videos, isn't there going to be new engines in SanJuan Trainz in other episodes or seasons? Btw good job on the video
National Sarcasm Society he’s not tall it’s just it’s hard for them but he’s not tall but it’s hard for them to see over him he would need to be way shorter like 6 feet tall but he’s not
The Titfield Thunderbolt is one of my FAVORITE movies!!!!
Can you send the link

Academy Award Winner for Best Episode (EDIT: Until Moonrailer).
Way to get a 'head' of the game!
We had to think outside the smokebox.
13:09 Amo essa parte!!! #3254 CANADIANO NATIONAL,minha favorita!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️🚂🚂🚂
Very fine job indeed! Probably the best episode yet in my opinion along with the Halloween special!
Thanks
certainly better than the time this was made in Trainz '04...
7:27 LOL!! 😂
BnsfRail4736 ii
I'm looking forward to seeing episode 10
10:30 Perfect timing!
By far my favorite episode.
So at the end, it was like steam locomotive FACE/OFF, huh?
Ayy wheres the trainmasters train car?
Also its the guy from, at the railyard! voicing Frisco 1522
That was awesome! Nice work
Man this reminds me I have a route for the Titfield thunderbolt branch that I need to finish...its not like I've been working on it since TS2010 came out...
bit creepy at the end but it was hilarious overall, keep up the grand videos
REALLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHATS WRONG WITH STRASBURG ?!!???!?!?!?
Nothing, it's a reference to the Gettsyburg Railroad
When did we say Strasburg?
SanJuanTrainz You made a reference to Strasburg, or clues to it.
There were a lot of backwoods railroads in Pennsylvania in the 80s.
SanJuanTrainz Well, Strasburg is the first thing I think of.
Quick question: How did you get Ben on the flatbed?
That's just a trick in game, with Ben spotted on a section of raised invisible track.
San Juan Branch Line Trainz Series sneaky sneaky
I get it. At the end, they made it so that Ben has the locomotive of Craig
7:23 straight out of rocky. this is oustanding
Hey Jon, why did you take down episode 6? I really loved that one!
I heard 2 people whose voices I recognized Christopher Kovacs and the person who does that narration in the Roundhouse podcast.
the part when Ben was on the passenger train it was just like episode 16 of robot trains
1:14 where can I download this big steam locomotive
How does Craig still be able to talk without being on a boiler
Train Wreck *facepalms* your kidding, right? pls tell me your kidding!
Train Wreck you must've been kidding
15:23 Wait The Tank Engine is still there?!
The ending got me good. But how is that physically possible?
+icverano525 Ben's face was on Craig's body.
Change a few bolts, simple enough
SanJuanTrainz ware to download Ethan the big steam locomotive New York central
I agree. woudn't ben's smokebox door be smaller than craig's?
San Juan Branch Line Trainz Series lol kinda savage
7:19 Is that where the Trainmaster lives? He must be rich!
Noisy Mountainwagon MAYBE
IT HEARTS SO MUCH
WERE DID YOU GET 3254
It used to be on US Locomotive Works' Trainz website, but it's no longer available, possibly because it was made by the same dude who runs K&L Trainz, and they have a new version of it
Excellent!
hello SanJuanTrainz how are you guys doing
18:41 HOW DOES THAT EVEN WORK????
Lol that was awesome!
trainmaster is, in my opinion, more demanding and strict than Sir toppham hat.
Wait so they took Ben apart and then they put him back together how did he talk
They only have to install certain parts so Ben can talk on another engine.
+SanJuanTrainz so they switched bodies in a way
Just wondering...what kind of engine is Ben?
a B&O 0-4-0
H F McBain Thanks man :)
how did you get the desert route
Where did you download Ben?
was this made in trainz a new era
where can i find the MILW cars used for the San Juan Limited?
15:35 THAT REFERENCE (Strasburg Railroad much?)
+Antonia Zimmermann That was what I thought, but actually its a stab at the infamous Gettysburg RR operation.
Antonia Zimmermann It’d be a privilege to run for them
Where did you get the green henryeteta
Trainmaster: And if I ever catch any of you sneaking into other trains like that I’ll personally send you to some back woods tourist railroad in Pennsylvania 😂. But I like Strasburg!
What is the music you use in the intro and credits?
I'm sure you have heated this comment before but I was curious to know if Frank Frisco 1522 will be upgraded to the new version from K&L Trains and also I got an idea for a temporary switcher K&L Trains has a freeware PRR 0-4-0 or a PRR 4-4-0
We're going with something a little more universal.
What is the music?
11:43
Nice work and I was wondering, what editing program did you use?
Sony Vegas 12
Are both the milwalkie road and union pacific coaches used for the limited service
That is correct
I hope a future episode will feature Pere Marquette #1225.
You'll have to look for that in our other show.
+SanJuanTrainz I'll look into it if I can find it.
SanJuanTrainz if you would feature the 1225 would it be the K&L Trainz version
MPT 765 no because nobody cares about you
Wat version of trainz is this?
Where did you get the new model to Nathan? If you got it on the download station what did you search for the engine and tender?
+M Turkovich Nathan's new tender is the NYC J3a Hudson tender from K&L Trainz. One of the best sources for steam engine content for Trainz.
+engineer6325 thanks I agree it is the best place to get trains. Is Nathan available on the download station?
Yes he is, but there is like three different versions of the Mohawk on the DLS. One has smoke deflectors, one doesn't, And I think they have different road numbers. So you might have to dig a little.
+engineer6325 ok great.
+engineer6325 the reason I asked was because the one on the download station doesn't look so new it looks like a rust bucket.
How did you switch the engines
nice. but what is being said said at 10:42 and 14:20?
If the San Juan Branch line turned into a Class 1 railway in 2018, do you think it would have expanded?
Maybe. It would be nice.
Is it me or did you update Nathan's driving rods and gave him the tender from the K&L Trainz NYC J3a?
Brian cleaned up Nathan a good amount.
Ar both the set of coaches Nathan and Craig for the limited service?
Would you have an episode were the San Juan has a Day Out With Thomas. If you do have one I suggest you either use the Thomas model from Sodor Island 3D or the DOWT model from Sodor Workshops.
For legal purposes, Thomas is unlikely to appear in the show.
@@SanJuanBranchLineTrainzSeries That makes sense
What music did you use from the part when ben is couple up to craig train
+Lord EBBVV William Tell Overture.
Where Did You Get Those Milwaukee Road Coaches
I love it
where's that flatcar from
What do you mean "Back woods tourist railroad in Pennsylvania"?
There's another "burg" that comes to mind.
18:46 watch this with your volume all the way up
Why yu no use railroad tycoon and thomas music?
Is it a major coincidence that this resembles the episode from Thomas & Friends where Thomas told Gordon to hurry up, then Gordon purposley dragged Thomas behind him to show him how hard work feels? With the only difference being this one was done on ACCIDENT.
It was unintentional when it was written, but we caught it during the production stage. We just kind of beefed up the reference to it happening to an American tank engine.
SanJuanTrainz, I here'd Ben wisper something at 10:48. What was he saying?
ajp123 He says:
"And what makes you think I have to ask?"
engineer6325 ok thanks
he said "and what makes you think i have to ask" i think
What's the name of the voice actor that acts the ATSF 4-4-0?

Download Station, made by a guy known as "tume"
0:51 Song?
What is the Train master trying to tell Ben at 15:22 "...just be glad it's not October." I mean I've seen the Halloween special but I still don't get it.
+Denvertrainz The Ghost tank engine only claims victims during the month of October on that line.......but to the people of San Juan they don't exactly know that. For all they know, engines just go mysteriously missing from that line in October.
+engineer6325 thanks
+engineer6325 do you know where to get the ghost tank engine?

+engineer6325 ok thanks so much👍🏼👍🏼

Download Station

How did you combined Craig and Ben?
photoshop
So Thomas + chugginton = this series San Juan branchline
Kevin The hype train how?
banaan appel because of their attautide
Kevin The hype train no they just based of Thomas the tank engine because when they made the first episode chuggington never existed
TheSouthernPacific awwwwwwwww man
BerkshireRailfanProductions at 15:54 train master said for the tender engines to fetch there own train cars. But shouldn’t Thomas the tank Engine be in the San Juan west to help out while Ben is gone for months
If I could ask what is the name of the intro song?
It's from the credits of "Huntington '91."
ok
Is Huntington '91 a tv show or what is it?
It's a railfan program
oh ok
What's the name of the intro/outro music?
It comes from an old "Berkshire Videography" program. That's why 1225 is heard in it.
+SanJuanTrainz what's the name of it?
Holy crap at 7:27 ME EARS!
How you got the train face switch then put the other train face in the wall
I have a question. In the feature or your videos, isn't there going to be new engines in SanJuan Trainz in other episodes or seasons? Btw good job on the video
New engines as the plot demands
Ok thanks
What if Ben meets Jackson?
15:34 WTF man, whats wrong with steamtown?
I think he was referring to the Gettysburg Railroad which the real life 3254 was owned by before Steamtown.
what route is this?
San Juan West
I have tried to make this on trainz mobile...
im kinda mad right now bc episode 6 is blocked in the U.S.
Nice rocky referencing
San your intro its cool
What's so wrong about a backwoods tourist railway
+BNSF 8010 maybe diesels
What is the name of this route?
+Arthur Melez The route is a private personal creation by the San Juan
crew they have yet to decide to release publicly
+engineer6325 ok
13 hours later, epic fail sound
There was a lag when he was pulling the freight
so the British tank engine's name was Tit feel thunderbolt?
sir were to download union Pacific coach
Download Station
i like how the movie ben watched was on sodor
The real D&RGW #1015 was built by Baldwin in 1902 and scrapped in 1947.
So,Dan(DRGW 1015)was Scrapped in 1947 in Real Life?
what locomotive is Ben so I might recreate it on Garry's Mod.
He is a B&O C-16 0-4-0T Saddle tank. Also known as "Little Joe's".
When I saw I'm like what!!!! Then when I saw the rest of him and saw 3254 face only, I thought oh my god!!!!!!!
Man ya gotta make another ghost episode
19:02 oh my
I'LL SEND YOU TO SOME BACKWOODS TOURIST RAILROAD IN PENNSYLVANIA! Sadly Strasburg isn't a tourist road.
Florida Railfanning 812. Lol
NO!!! ANYTHING BUT THAT!!!!
Strasburg RR is one of the best railroads in America
British Engine run in the sodor?!?!
9:07 to tall???
National Sarcasm Society he’s not tall it’s just it’s hard for them but he’s not tall but it’s hard for them to see over him he would need to be way shorter like 6 feet tall but he’s not
Ben just wanted to follow his dream.
Strasburg railroad
