As a Brit I find it amazing that you can't just cross the street anywhere so long as you're not causing a hazard. Pedestrians don't have the right of way over here except at designated crossings, but if you can cross the street without causing drivers to slam on the brakes then you're free to cross anywhere you like.

What’s sad is I decided to become a closing judge for election night just to see what really goes on with tallying the votes and how they are counted. To see if fraud could be committed as easily as they say. The complete opposite. Very hard to do.
