How they treat us in childhood really affects how we see ourselves in the future and the kinds of people we settle for!! We look for love in all the wrong places and then we miss all the red flags!!

This has been a very painful interview to watch, listening to Martha Soipan tell her story of abuse, betrayal, tragedy, challenges she had to overcome. I congratulate her strength, her confidence...she is a mountain of a woman. I know she is telling the stories of so many faceless, nameless people...yes, she has given a voice to victims everywhere.

This is sad to watch. The level of trauma that her mum took her through is indescribable. The abandonment. So sad. She is now parenting her inner child. May God give her healing. May God also heal her son. He has been through a lot by proxy. Thank you Lynn for bringing this stories to life and to imagine God used you 3 years ago in her life.
At first I cried a lot Martha when you were narrating your story but when you talk about you and your son ,I smiled felt much better because of love you have for your son .I love you Martha.

However, this story took me five days to finish all. I have zero sympathy for rapists, abusive man, pedophiles etc etc.
The amount of anger I was feeling when she was telling the story was making me to stop. Why would anyone go through such an ordeal? 😭

I bumped into Lynn's channel today, Dec 2023, and I had to subscribe. The stories shared, including Soipan's are eye openers. In addition, the son, will not need to explain who his father is in future. That is the power of God.

I saw this Pastor story online he was talking about how he went through hell through sickness, I felt this was the man of God to share my personal issues with. I called him from Europe , we spoke with him, the first question he asked , do you go to church I said yes, do you give your tithe?. I ask myself, why is he asking me about the tithe and he has not known why I called him . He didn't want to know why I had called him, he was more concerned about the tithe, this is the moment I saw a red flag. I don't know the guy I saw him in an interview by one of the media station. I never called him again , I asked myself where are the men of God who doesn't only think about money. I was expecting him to sk me why I had called him, but it was all about tithe.

I have been a single mother & very fine with it. But I never knew that people where judging me, I think cos my focus has always been on the positiv side of life. I just discovered this channel and this story. My problems are still small compare to to Martha's own. Father forgive me when I complain. I was soo touched by her story. I'm glad she has now found peace and is doing much better than where she use to be. I felt so sad and touched by what Martha has gone through. Good people always gets the worse of things sometimes. I think most people who get abused are those who have voids from childhood that crave to be filled. Abusers look for such... It is very sad 😭
Yeah the abusers are like sharks,they can smell vulnerable blood a mile away.But still even those who have had a healthy childhood have fallen victim to abusers.so ni Mungu husaidia.

Listening to Soipan, brings both tears and Joy. She is so pure at heart and I can't help but see this in her. The tears are caused by the truth that her mom had deep rooted issues that she didn't handle, and still refuses to handle. This mother is blinded to the things of this world.. deep deep issues to say the least. She rejects for she has experienced rejection, she shuns also because of the same root causes. Her hatred, pain, failures, frustrations, anger bitterness, loss, indecency proves that she lacks vision, wisdom, character, knowledge or even self control. Soipan... It is good that you release Her to her Maker... For him to work on her inside out, then she will be changed.
My joy is in the truth that, you have such a huge heart, you are calm and collected, you are loving and patient, forbearing. You are kind, good natured, beautiful inside out. I could just listen to you over and over again, for you carry wisdom, knowledge, the fear of God . Thank you for not giving into the spirit of depression, hatred, anger or bitterness. You are a daughter of the most high God. He will preserve your life! Your destiny and also your purpose in life.
Please look for a teaching by John Macarthur about unlikely heroes... I tell you, in this day and age... You are an unlikely hero. God's good plans over your life cannot be thwarted by men and women who worship false gods.

Oh Lord i have watched this today&i will repeat it tomorrow because this story has touched my heart.there are words that she said&i was like this is what i always tell people that i wish i had my mom guide me through the toughest times i have gone through because she is alive but she really was not there to guide me as a teenager since i was 7yrs i have seen&gone through hell😭grown ups tried to take advantage &trashed me.being in a hospital bed for months&a man some people thought i was to going to die, waiting for for my death announcement but who is God😢🙏only grandma&my late grandp cared how i wish grandpa was still alive i would have been so far now🙏but he left me when i was still a little girl i would say.God please intervene in my life&locate me with my blessings 🙏

Take heart dear. I went through the same raped by man of God got pregnant bore him a son. I never regret the son has brought too much joy in my life. Although i was rejected by church but nothing was done to the Pastor. I named my son Benjamin meaning the one who will be fortunate. Just love your son he is very innocent and God will see you through. The way you're beautiful gal no one knows the scars behind your beauty. Pick up you're lost pieces and move on the future is brighter. I would love to meet you Martha.

I am so sorry you had to go through all that trauma. personally, i think you made a big mistake when your mom got sick. forgive yes but wisdom is another level. The extreme you took on when she was in hospital was not sensible. Remember, you have a son to focus on. loosing your job it is your fault not God's 🙏, your first responsibility is not your mom anymore, it's your son. I hope you learn a good lesson from everything that happened to you, even with your mom. please do not repeat it again, take good care of yourself and your son to the best of your ability.
Lynn should attend therapy from to time because she takes in a lot of other people's trauma ❤❤
