Remember when he allowed the devil to attack Job, his friends came to console Job reminding him of the nature of God but when God finally spoke He said they had misrepresented Him. The greatest challenge she faces and most that decide to take their own spiritual journey, is that you're up against religious doctrines that have existed for centuries. Their arguments have been solidified and the brand and structures already set up.
It's not a walk in the park, you're challenged for questioning, you even doubt yourself because the doctrines answers are well packaged and compelling compared to your knowledge gained through personal process of research and inquisitiveness.
This is where many choose to go back to religion as it offers that stability and is more comfortable compared to the personal spirituality journey.
That's the problem of seeking the truth, with consciousness or the brain rather than the heart. It's about posturing you heart right, so that your steps may be guided. That's the narrow road.
