Hi, it’s same. Having 2 bedrooms ,1 living, kitchen and 1.5 washroom. There may be slight difference in bedroom size and how bedrooms are located inside the suite.😊
I just noticed that the payment mode now is north star payment. So if you have any knowledge would you please explain the payment method, also for the 100 CAD submission... Or if you can make a fresh video explaining the entire payment mode happening for international applicants

Hello Mam it's written on site that floors are coed but suites are all male and female dies it mean we can't call our different gender friend to our suite for get together and study purpose?

Hi ! There are two options for east Village right? 2 bedroom and 4 bedroom.
In the two bedroom apartment do we have private room? Or it's shared? Just like you showed in your video.
It's so confusing because one of the videos of TRU housing they show this 4 bed dorm and the bathroom is shared but the bedroom is private.
Hi Vivek. 2-bedroom and 4- bedroom both have facility for private rooms but it totally depends on the availability. Also, rent for private room is more in comparison to the sharing one.
@@GurjyotCanada i have one more question. I was booking a flightfrom vancouver to kamloops by air canada but i fail to see any baggage information. How much baage is allowed free?
You should definitely call and confirm with the airlines as every flight has a different allowance for baggage. 😊
@@GurjyotCanada sure! From Kamloops airport to tru housing, how much does it cost to book a cab? And if i don't have Canadia number is it easy to book a cab?
You can surely ask someone to book a cab for you which would cost you around 30-35$. All the best👍

If you want to share the unit with a specific person, you can definitely let the residency know about your preferences while registering or through an email.

And also wanted to know whether is kitchen facility in north towers
Hi, price for North tower is $4055 per semester for 2 and 4 bedroom suite. Suites have kitchenettes which means there is no electric stove but there are 4 common kitchens which are open 24 hours. Check the link:

How did you pay the application fee (CAD 100)
They have a payment gateway INTERAC, but it accepts payment only from 3 banks, all those are Canadian institutions.
Hi, yes payment will be done through a Canadian bank only. You can ask your friend or relative if you have any.
Maam i'm interested in pursuing post baccalaureate diploma in finance...but i'm not able to figure out the FEE structure because of credit system..

Hi Gurjyot, I am also coming to TRU in May for M.Ed thru GCES. If possible can u pls share how did u get accommodation in East village as it is quite confusing and difficult. I hv applied n paid the application fees but was in waiting list for Jan n nw in May they r asking me to reapply. Pls share the entire process with timeline 🙏🏻
Hi, you can email the residency directly and ask them the status of your application. I’m not clear if by reapplication do they want you to pay again?
@@GurjyotCanada I had already mailed them and they have asked me to apply again for May again and pay the application fees aswell. If you could share how you applied? I mean did you apply thru the University or directly to the residency? Also any idea when do the applications open for May intake?
@@dipnakkhosla4129 Applications will open in March 2023. I applied directly and got the room since rooms were available. So, it totally depends on the availability. I would suggest you reapply and stay in touch with them through email. Details are on the link here:

I was applying for the TRU housing and for that purpose I need to make a payment of CAD100. While making the payment I couldn't find a way to make the payment of CAD100 through any Indian bank. Can you please guide me on how to do that?
Hi, unfortunately there is no means to make payment through any Indian or other country's bank. It just gives options of 3 Canadian banks. You can ask any of your friend or relative already present in Canada to help you with the payment.

1) Suppose if I decide to stay there for the entire duration of my course (2yrs) what would be the total cost??

Hi, Cost depends on which residency you choose. Prices are mentioned on the website and also Food is not included. There is no such facility to avail food.

Hi, you can find a lot of off- campus accommodations. Look at market place, India club and kijiji.
