    Thank you so much for this very helpful video! My damper came with zero instructions, and without this I would have been lost. Thanks again!

    Great video. Was very helpful! People should test those little screws before adding heat. Mine were very loose and had no glue so came straight out.

    What is the size of the two small screws you put the glue gun on?
    I can't seem to find the right hex wrench. @ 1 is too small and 2 seems too big

      I couldn't even get mine out. They probably used too much threadlocker on mine. I tried to heat it and the impact couldn't even get it out.

    I just got my 10+R yesterday, and can't decide between a damper and exa 291r. What was your reasoning for going with the damper?

    On AliExpress there are a few of them for the 10+ but they are different prices.. Why is there a big difference between the $172 and the $51 one?

    • @escoot_nyc1651
      @escoot_nyc1651 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I was also looking into this damper. I believe the $51 is for the damper alone and the $172 is for damper + kit (all the pieces needed) to do full installation on the 10+. So its basically $172 for the 10+ damper

      @@FernellyMrFerns Yes you can swap them out for air suspensions but I would probably change them for oil dampening suspension if I ever do decide to change them. They are fine for now. I had a loud creak in the front one after loosen it up a bit the noise went away. I believe the front is 125mm and back is 165mm both are common sizes for mtb suspensions. I'm holding off on the suspensions and damper as I really dont get wobble. Upgrading first to some 160mm rotors and magura mt5e brakes. I will be posting some videos soon.

    why would someone design dumper on the same side as motor cable is so that it sqeezes and rubs it when steering?

    • @milordas
      @milordas 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      yah it should be on oposite side

    • @orange42
      @orange42 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It interferes with the brake cables if on the right hand side. Can add a little cable tie and it mostly sorts the motor cable out.

    I also heard that an air suspension can be used to replace the stock suspension the 10+ brings.. U know if there is any truth to this?

      JUST DO AS THE VIDEO SHOWS

  • @jkmaxfli2469
    @jkmaxfli2469 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Steering damper is a completely useless thing and investment! Just tighten the main screw in the middle of the handlebars and tune the rigidity of the handlebar rotation to your liking. Access to the screw is from below, so you don't have to disassemble anything!

    • @rbmanb
      @rbmanb 3 ปีที่แล้ว
