- Art studio tour
A tour of my cosy living room art studio including how I organise and store my art materials in a small space on a budget. Even though I do a lot of sketching on location, I still need a home base and, in our tiny apartment, we’ve carved out some areas for making art and storing all those super important materials.
Come into my home and see where I work and the tools and materials I use.
Thank you for watching! Please like and subscribe if you enjoyed my video.
I'm an artist living in Melbourne Australia who loves to explore and sketch the world. I mainly work in acrylic gouache, watercolour, coloured pencil, makers and paint pens, crayons and inks, but I love exploring other media too.

I love messy watercolor palettes!! Thanks for the tour.
It seems wasteful to clean off watercolour :D
Great tour. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Technically if your art desk in the living room then your whole living room is an art studio 😂 lovely tour btw 😍
Yep true. Tbh, it's taking over the whole house!
Thank you for the tour. What do you use woodies for? 😊
Thanks. The woodies are water soluble crayons so they can be used on their own like a wax crayon or diluted with water (same as a watercolour pencil). Because they are so chonky, they are best for laying down big areas of colour and once they've been wetted, it's easy to layer other materials over them.
Thanks😀 i suppose they're similar to my caran dache neocolors 2 then 😊. No need to buy, phew 😅
@@colourmequaint9690 Yep, they are very similar just chunkier.
"Inks and I don't get along", but you have ton of it.
Ha ha, yep.
At 1:15 what is the item next to the skull behind the stamps? It looks like a container that can dispense water?
Yep, it's a little water mist sprayer for indoor plants.
