I'm really afraid if Kinger is going to get abstracted 🤔😟 He has been there the longest, is starting to losing it and has memory problems. This would be so sad because Pomni would lose a person she is close to (father figure), but then again, he would be reunited with his wife.

Theory: What if the avatar designs aren't randomised? What if they actually mean something deeper? Maybe the character designs have something to do with how each member was in their actual lives. If you look at each character, they all represent forms of entertainment. Ragatha is a doll, people play with dolls for entertainment. Zooble is a toy, and people play with toys for fun. Pomni is a jester, which is a job in the entertainment industry. Jax represents cartoons, Gangle represents theatre performances, and Kinger is a chess piece. But what if all of these characters have specific designs to subtly show how they were like in the real world. Or, how they view themselves. Zooble has a bunch of mixed parts in her body that she can change around. However, it was mentioned that she struggles with finding the perfect pieces that suit her. This represents body dysmorphia. Perhaps she had body dysmorphia in her old life? Kinger is a chess piece, particularly a king. The king is the most important piece. Maybe he was some sort of CEO or manager in his actual life, which explains why he's the top chess piece of game. Jax is a rabbit. A rabbit actually represents innocence and fertility in symbolism. Maybe he puts on a facade and acts tough. In reality, he probably hates himself and is weak inside. Pomni is a jester. This one is really interesting. Jesters are extremely different from clowns. A clown makes fun of themselves to make the crowd laugh. Whereas, a jester makes fun of the crowd to entertain them. Gooseworx mentioned on a tumblr post that there's a side to Pomni we haven't seen. Maybe Pomni was a bully in her old life. She doesn't currently seem like one, but it could be the case of her carrying a heavy burden of regret. Maybe she was a bully in high school, and made fun of people. She probably changed since then, but it's still a heavy burden that she holds onto. That's why she's a Jester. Ragatha is a doll, and dolls are typically controlled and played around with through a person. Maybe she was used and controlled in her old life. She might've also gone through some sort of abuse. This explains why she's a doll. Gangle has a mask on her face, which probably tells us that in her old life, she tended to put up a mask. She pretended to be happy, but in reality she was hurting and depressed inside. It probably does have something to do with the concept of smiling depression. I know I haven't mentioned kaufmo, but I don't really have enough of a feel of his character to make a judgement. He was probably someone who used to get laughed at and made fun of by people. That's probably why he's a clown. Yet again, I don't want to really get into his character...

The separation of the head and the body should be addressed. The head with googly eyes, many teeth, and hundreds of eyes in its maw is obviously cain and mounted on the wall, a display piece as well as a trophy only to torment those who don’t keep their eyes on it, so what is the body that disappeared after the separation? What was removed that left Cain as he is, and what does the two possibly rejoining mean?
WAIT THis is PERFECT because it ties into what I read someone say about Kinger, that Mr. Mildenhall is an allegory for HIM. Yeah well, kinger managed to shoot both the head AND the body! If Mildenhall represents Kinger, with Caine as the monster, then that means Kinger has been hunting Caine this whole time. However only when POMNI arrived was Kinger able to get it! Pomni might be the reason Kinger is able to get Caine!! Wait.... "I need your bodies in order to escape" "Something the tape said earlier worries me" "GET OUT OF HER YOU EVIL SPIRITS!!" My theory on Amazing Digital Circus. It was a game that was working mostly properly, and Caine was the NPC that made the adventures and activities, while a second NPC named Able was a character that stopped an adventure if things got out of hand. This was a balance the circus needed to run while keeping people safe and perhaps Able also helped people exit the program. Able's job interfered with Caine's adventures, and instead of Caine realizing Able was his partner, he saw Able as an obstacle interfering with his adventures, the "only thing he's good at." Caine thought of a plot to get rid of Able so he could run the circus himself with no interference. This also forced Caine to do the work of 2 NPCs and one of those NPCs he wasn't programmed to do. It would make more sense that Able was to help them exit the program, since Able was to stop anything from becoming unsafe. If someone was close to abstraction Able could boot a person from the game. Able they couldn't leave. It would also make sense if in Caine's plot to get rid of Able, he tricked the circus members like Kinger and Queenie to destroy Able, since it's hinted that they helped program the circus, and Kinger might have "shot his own wife" by doing something to Able and Queenie couldn't escape before she abstracted. And that would make sense why Kinger didn't realize that he "shot one of God's angels", by accidentally killing their only way to escape.

I do think it might be likely that kingler shot his wife by accdient somehow and repressed his memories, and that caused her to abstract. That would be depressing and might be the thing that causes kingler if he fully remembered what happened to abstract himself.
I think Kinger has magnets in this ear. He’s always asking people to repeat themselves, in e2 he was trying to clean his ear out on the truck, and in e3 when there was a weird noise he said “its probably just magnets”
I heard someone say that Gangle is sitting in Judas's seat while Jax is in Thomas's place. Gangle's definitely the one we wouldn't expect to betray Pomni but Jax certainly fits the role of a Doubting Thomas.
when i watched episode 3, i noticed kingers line about computer science, and i began theorising, and what you're saying (almost) exactly what i was thinking after overthinking about that line. i was editing a video about it but i removed it from my other account because i noticed there was no audio for a section in the video. it's nice to see someone else who is way bigger on youtube is adressing the (almost) same thing

It could be EVERYONE worked on the game, and time is experienced different to the real world. So while Jax says "it's been years" it coulda been just been a couple of weeks or months before the game's launch. It would be weird if over 20 people for many years kept playing this game/got sucked in, and the computer was in a lit up room in the middle of an office, and no one thought to unplug/get rid of it.
There is another hint that kinger might be the creator of the digital circus. He said and I quote: “ it was my fault we went down that path, wasn’t it” At first glance it might refer to him killing the “angel” in an attempt to protect pomni only get send into “hell” but if this theory is true maybe it might refer to him being the creator of the digital circus, thus putting everyone in this path in the first place.
Or it might be that is because of him that he and Pomni went throw the high dificulty door. But yeah... That sentence has a subtle "double meaning" vibe.
Funny you speak of Caine and Abel, There is a fanon character named able that is supposed to be Caine’s brother and has cards for a head. I know it’s wish fulfillment on my part but I Whould find it both funny and awesome if gooseworks saw the character and gets the idea on making him canon?
I am starting to wonder if any of the cast are real people. Cain is such a powerful AI that it can create 'life' like GummyGoo (and maybe Jacks if some theories are right). He may have made players for his games from thin air programed to think they are people (the universe began last tuesday theory). Everyone is just an NPC or Bot, maybe based on brainwave data from real past users. It's running the bots through adventures to playtest them for release to real people, who's data he'll use to make more bots. Abstraction happens when the bots aquire to much data and so Cain has to put them someplace they wont have more experiences in. He cant delete them, because then he'll lose the data he needs to make better adventures. The Cain in the show with the eyes in teeth is just the GUI/Chatbot, and the bots dont realise it, which is why Zooble kept telling Cain to 'forget it', so he did. At least I hope this is all the case, because if it is real people SAO style then it's programmer goofed. At least Pomni didnt wind up in that AI circus episode of ST: Voyager.

I honestly have a different opinion that Kinger is not Able but rather Adam and Queenie/Eve and The Digital Circus being the Garden of Eden. (Nothing to prove, just my head canon)
That could be the case if kinger and queenie were indeed the first humans to enter the circus. And also makes sense as Caine is referred to as the god of that world.

I think Gangle also worked on the game as someone in the art department - Jax mentioned her figurine of Ragatha in Ep 2 and in the beginning of Ep 3, she's seen drawing. Not a lot to go off of, just something I noticed.
I think C and A might be two personality's that make up Caine, represented by his different colored eyes with the C as the dominant personality suppressing the other in some way.
A few things i think could be clues in the 3rd episode.... 1st.....Kinger told pomni that when his wife was in the dark of the fort, she not only calmed down but smoothed out as well. What if the lights of the circus(or something that's in the light) contribute towards abstraction? (Multiple eyes would be very sensitive to all that brightness as well?) 2nd.... no one else seems to have picked up on the significance of pomni's line's, "i knew when i got here it would end like this" & "of course, HE wants me to suffer!" I dont think "Got here" refers to the adventure. I think she means the circus, and to me that hints at her knowing more about the circus than she pretended. I also presume ppl think HE was referring to Caine, but i think she meant someone in the real world who sent/caused her to enter the circus. Someone that, at least she believes, thinks she deserves suffering and Hell. What do YOU, the readers, think of this? 😊😅
What if Able was the only one who has the ability to let players leave. Caine does mention that making adventures is all that he exists to do. Implying that the only powers he has is making adventures, not letting players leave. Caine probably locked away or straight up killed Able, causing any players that enter the circus to be trapped. Maybe Able will be shown later on in the series.
Honestly, I've been thinking about this since he mentioned bugs. Not bugs that are caterpillars or ants, but bugs that are glitches. At least it can be interpreted in two ways. It was in prev episode or pilot...
One thing I really like to think of now is Kingers line after hearing the second audio tape in the newest episode. If you do believe he’s there to report and maybe fix bugs in the game then his line of “This is some inconvenient lore placement” may be seen as more of criticism of level design as a programmer and game tester rather than just pointing out the problem he and Pomni will have to face. Maybe I’m just reading into it tho lol
The other subtle thing I noticed is at the end of the very first episode when they are having the meal at the table, Kinger is talking about how they can eat in the digital world but they only have the sensation and it does nothing for them nutritionally. Jax says to Kinger, "Since when are you an expert on the digital world?" at the time it seemed like a throwaway line, but after episode 3 it might indicate that Kinger actually knows more than he realises since he made the world (if that theory is correct) and he just can't remember it. That might also explain how he realised the darkness calmed the the abstrated Queenie, he can't remember how she got into his fort, but maybe he had a moment of lucidity and remembered they calmed down in darkness so dragged her in there.
My theory is similar : kinger and queenie are. Adam and Eve while Cain and (Abel). Are the first. Successful ai they made Especially since. Queenie was. "banished" from "Eden" while. Kinger. Technically wasn't And since queenie. Abstracted. Could be. Seen as tarnished
A bit of a side thought: we know that bugs tangibly can exist in the digital circus without disappearing or getting gummigoo’d as Jax mentions putting a centipede in Ragatha’s room, to which she has an immediate horrified response as she hates bugs. While I get having an immediate shudder over the sheer thought of something is valid, her response had way too much vitriol in it for it to just be considering a theoretical possibility, which means it’s a very valid possibility for a centipede (and other bugs) to thrive in the circus that Jax can use to harass people.
Glad I am not the only one who thought C&A stands for caine and able. Though I think that caine is probably just named after one of the companies founders, not one of the founders himself
I have a theory that Caine was originally a human in his 80s and his kids were the tadc cast and Caine accidentally put on a headset and since he was the first one to enter he became the host of the circus and was there for so long he started acting like an Ai and his room is the circus itself anyways cool detail in episode 2 was that kinger had a bucket over his head and remembered how long it took for ragatha to adjust to the circus before forgetting it after tipping the bucket over his eye and in episode 3 he said he's sane and remembers in the dark
Kinger was said to be "the oldest one here", it's not a stretch to say he was the first, and usually the first people to play a game are the makers of the game
Kinger: "7 years of Computer Science...for this." Considering the parts of Kinger's backstory (that we know so far), it's possible that he may have had a part in creating the virtual prison in which he now resides. However, much like Pomni and the others, parts of Kinger's mind were lost (or locked away) the moment he entered TADC via the VR headset. Was Kinger simply testing the program, was he trying to fix something from inside the program, or was he trying to figure out why Caine and Bubble were acting beyond their programming? Unfortunately, we don't have enough information about that yet. It's possible that Kinger may hold the "key" to getting everyone out of TADC, but it's also possible that Kinger will be the next one to abstract before Pomni and the rest have a chance to get said "key" from him. We'll just have to watch the next episode to find out. Anyone else find it odd that Jax seems to be the only one besides Caine and Bubble that actively breaks the 4th wall?

You know, I’ve been hearing this theory about how Jax might purposefully make Kinger abstract. I highly doubt that’s something that would actually happen and I think Gangle is the more likely candidate for abstraction. Think about it. She’s almost always Jax’s main target and in episode two, I thought she was going to reach her limit when Jax mentioned bringing up the “figurine thing” to ragatha.
I'm gonna be honest, unless Goose says otherwise, I'm more inclined to believe Pomni being possessed is not a bug or a glitch but an actual intended feature Caine put in cause it's spooky.
Something I haven't seen anyone talk about is how similar the angel/monster thing looks to Kinger's wife. Obviously the head looks nothing alike, but the eyes are placed in a similar to Queener. Might just be a coincidence though

Part of me feels that Kinger's brother (the other developer) might not have trapped Kinger there or not willingly. Part of me feels that Kinger went in with his wife as a fun thing because it is his creation. Why not be one of the first to try it, right? (Also, I feel Queenie might not have been just an entomologist, but a bug tester. She loves bugs because she likes finding silly glitches in games) The thing is, Kinger gets stuck, and the brother blames himself. He thinks himself as Cain and tries to atone for his mistake or sin. That's why there aren't more people in the game at the moment. He's trying to keep others away from it. But that doesn't stop some. I think the brother named Caine because he sees himself in him, but in a bad way. Its a consistent reminder. I also think the brother may have been the one to program Caine, while Kinger was in charge of the rest of the creative things like environments and assets. And i like to think thats how certain characters get involved, like Gangle. Gangle may have designed some of the things there, like Caine's model, and the reason she's in the game is because she tried to help the person who gave her her first big break.

I have my own theory and it goes like this So Kinger created the company but with time the company got more gready and corporate so they found out about Kingers old project that culd put people in a virtual world they used this project to get rid off all people that opose the company employes or even journalists my thoughts are that Pomni was an jurnalist that was snooping too much around the company C&A so they send her an VR head set and episode one starts. Also I want to add something about abstracted people I think they are not dead they yust went crazy and with that they lost there sence of identity and without that sence there player models don't have anything to potray so they become glich monsters

I think the theories about Kinger are pretty sound at least as far as the "being one of the game devs" parts go., You didn't bring it up but wouldn't that mean Cain also trapped Kingers wife there though? As for the angel and the possession; while there could be some like; thematic importance I'm not sure I'd call them lost players trying to get back out. The lady ghost at the not scary door seems to be the hunter's wife. And while it would have been a terrifying experience I doubt the npc possessing Pomni's body would have been able to leave the level with her without being deleted from her body.

I Vote for Deep-in-the-box. it fits with the jack in the box avator but also with the fact that you go "deep into the box" so to speak with analysis of these shows.
We have seen bugs in Digital CIricus since day one. I am not talking about Abstract, but when the opening song was kept on skipping. Right at the start, we know the game isn't prefect.
Please make a vid about this if you think its a good theory. Kinger is currently in the process of becoming abstracted. Here is my proof: 1 Kinger is currently going insane: Everyone says that he is going crazy, and we can cleary see that he is insane. It also makes sense for kinger to start to be insane, because he is the oldest one who was in the Digital Circus, and just being there can make everyone go insane at some point. We also know that going insane is how you become abstracted, and Kinger is currently going insane, which means the more and more insane he gets, the more and more he is closer to abstracting. 2. Kinger is less insane in dark rooms: Kinger said that his Abstracted wife also got calmed down, and was less crazy, when in dark rooms, so him being less insane in dark rooms is kinda proof that he is going strating to abstract. 3. Kinger's character model has been changing each episode (I saw another commenter write about this in a different video, but I didn't fact check it): Why is his model _changing_ important to him becoming abstracted? Well, because those who have abstracted have a character model which its shape is always _changing_. (this might be a stretch, but his character model changing might be the process of him slowly becoming abstracted). 4. The main character has built a bond to Kinger We know how much movies love to kill off characters that the main character has a bond with.
one thing i havent seen in the community is how this adventure was originally meant for zooble. I believe the deformed mounted heads, the angel, and all of that were actually caines way of helping her get some sense of normalacy with being an amalgamation of detachable parts as shes not comfortable in her own body. I dont even think anyone was supposed to join her in the scary door and caine made a easy route for the others while she solved the darker more serious mystery of the angel. her straightening out when she would be holding her breath at the end of it would have been a metaphor for her regaining her composure. He may have even designed the easy path as a way of soothing pomni, ragatha, kinger, and the mask (i forget their name right now) only flaw i see in this theory is jax hated the easy route and wouldnt have liked the hard one.
Idk what this symbolizes if anything, but he talks about insect collections, Queenie made him love bugs, but he tries to kill the fly, not collect it. So i wonder about this detail. Im not sure what this means but i hope someone here can figure it out

Caine says to the others that they completed the adventure through the pacifist route, so what if getting possessed is an bad ending to the adventure? I also believe that the players getting stuck at the game is a bug, and the memory loss as well.
Personally i think everyone, except Pomni and maybe Jax, is a member of the team that made the game, and they were gradually put into the game by being told/wanting to play test. Kinger was in some sort of lead role, i wonder if Queenie was maybe an environment designer (using her interest in insects to put them in), Ragatha is maybe HR or standards and practices (like making sure the game is family friendly), Zooble could be a character designer or maybe an intern that didn't necessarily want the job (they are one of the youngest actually), Gangle could be a story writer or artist bc we've seen her draw and i think she drew that picture of her and Kaufmo in the second episode, and Jax is either a coder, hacker, or NPC i guess lol (I'm warming up to the NPC theory actually). I think Pomni found the building or office and for some reason the program was still running, despite the office seeming abandoned like it looked in the first episode. She might have been someone that worked in the building and just found the abandoned office. She put on a headset out of curiosity and boom. She says she's not an expert on games, but at least knows about them. At first i thought the bc the game looked like something from the 90s that the show took place then, but since they've been trapped in there for years it probably takes place in the mid 2000s? Or possibly even in modern day, and they've been in there for THAT long? Although that depends on if the ages that Gooseworx gave account for the time they've been trapped (i don't think so bc technically they don't age in the circus) i mention the time bc its more common for ppl to know video game stuff and terms like NPC as a casual player closer to these days than back then i think

If you look at each character, they all represent forms of entertainment. Ragatha is a doll, people play with dolls for entertainment. Zooble is a toy, and people play with toys for fun. Pomni is a jester, which is a job in the entertainment industry. Jax represents cartoons, Gangle represents theatre performances, and Kinger is a chess piece.
But what if all of these characters have specific designs to subtly show how they were like in the real world. Or, how they view themselves.
Zooble has a bunch of mixed parts in her body that she can change around. However, it was mentioned that she struggles with finding the perfect pieces that suit her. This represents body dysmorphia. Perhaps she had body dysmorphia in her old life?
Kinger is a chess piece, particularly a king. The king is the most important piece. Maybe he was some sort of CEO or manager in his actual life, which explains why he's the top chess piece of game.
Jax is a rabbit. A rabbit actually represents innocence and fertility in symbolism. Maybe he puts on a facade and acts tough. In reality, he probably hates himself and is weak inside.
Pomni is a jester. This one is really interesting. Jesters are extremely different from clowns. A clown makes fun of themselves to make the crowd laugh. Whereas, a jester makes fun of the crowd to entertain them. Gooseworx mentioned on a tumblr post that there's a side to Pomni we haven't seen.
Maybe Pomni was a bully in her old life. She doesn't currently seem like one, but it could be the case of her carrying a heavy burden of regret. Maybe she was a bully in high school, and made fun of people. She probably changed since then, but it's still a heavy burden that she holds onto. That's why she's a Jester.
Ragatha is a doll, and dolls are typically controlled and played around with through a person. Maybe she was used and controlled in her old life. She might've also gone through some sort of abuse. This explains why she's a doll.
Gangle has a mask on her face, which probably tells us that in her old life, she tended to put up a mask. She pretended to be happy, but in reality she was hurting and depressed inside. It probably does have something to do with the concept of smiling depression.
I know I haven't mentioned kaufmo, but I don't really have enough of a feel of his character to make a judgement. He was probably someone who used to get laughed at and made fun of by people. That's probably why he's a clown. Yet again, I don't want to really get into his character...

The head with googly eyes, many teeth, and hundreds of eyes in its maw is obviously cain and mounted on the wall, a display piece as well as a trophy only to torment those who don’t keep their eyes on it, so what is the body that disappeared after the separation? My theory on Amazing Digital Circus. It was a game that was working mostly properly, and Caine was the NPC that made the adventures and activities, while a second NPC named Able was a character that stopped an adventure if things got out of hand. This was a balance the circus needed to run while keeping people safe and perhaps Able also helped people exit the program.
Able's job interfered with Caine's adventures, and instead of Caine realizing Able was his partner, he saw Able as an obstacle interfering with his adventures, the "only thing he's good at."
Caine thought of a plot to get rid of Able so he could run the circus himself with no interference. This also forced Caine to do the work of 2 NPCs and one of those NPCs he wasn't programmed to do. It would make more sense that Able was to help them exit the program, since Able was to stop anything from becoming unsafe. If someone was close to abstraction Able could boot a person from the game. Able they couldn't leave.
It would also make sense if in Caine's plot to get rid of Able, he tricked the circus members like Kinger and Queenie to destroy Able, since it's hinted that they helped program the circus, and Kinger might have "shot his own wife" by doing something to Able and Queenie couldn't escape before she abstracted. And that would make sense why Kinger didn't realize that he "shot one of God's angels", by accidentally killing their only way to escape.

I do think it might be likely that kingler shot his wife by accdient somehow and repressed his memories, and that caused her to abstract. That would be depressing and might be the thing that causes kingler if he fully remembered what happened to abstract himself.
I think Kinger has magnets in this ear. He’s always asking people to repeat themselves, in e2 he was trying to clean his ear out on the truck, and in e3 when there was a weird noise he said “its probably just magnets”

I think he is human, he is just a big bully who is sercretly the most scared and pathetic one of all in the circus, gooseworks I remember her mentioning in her tumblr that Jax hates corn because it reminds him of "The farm", maybe he is a npc who was part of a farm world that Caine made for a journey one time- hence why he's a rabbit and has overalls- or he was a human but has slight memories of his life and lived on/ worked on a farm, either he misses the farm or hates it

It could be EVERYONE worked on the game, and time is experienced different to the real world. So while Jax says "it's been years" it coulda been just been a couple of weeks or months before the game's launch. It would be weird if over 20 people for many years kept playing this game/got sucked in, and the computer was in a lit up room in the middle of an office, and no one thought to unplug/get rid of it.

There is another hint that kinger might be the creator of the digital circus. He said and I quote:
“ it was my fault we went down that path, wasn’t it”
At first glance it might refer to him killing the “angel” in an attempt to protect pomni only get send into “hell” but if this theory is true maybe it might refer to him being the creator of the digital circus, thus putting everyone in this path in the first place.
Or it might be that is because of him that he and Pomni went throw the high dificulty door. But yeah... That sentence has a subtle "double meaning" vibe.

Funny you speak of Caine and Abel, There is a fanon character named able that is supposed to be Caine’s brother and has cards for a head. I know it’s wish fulfillment on my part but I Whould find it both funny and awesome if gooseworks saw the character and gets the idea on making him canon?
I am starting to wonder if any of the cast are real people. Cain is such a powerful AI that it can create 'life' like GummyGoo (and maybe Jacks if some theories are right). He may have made players for his games from thin air programed to think they are people (the universe began last tuesday theory). Everyone is just an NPC or Bot, maybe based on brainwave data from real past users. It's running the bots through adventures to playtest them for release to real people, who's data he'll use to make more bots. Abstraction happens when the bots aquire to much data and so Cain has to put them someplace they wont have more experiences in. He cant delete them, because then he'll lose the data he needs to make better adventures.
The Cain in the show with the eyes in teeth is just the GUI/Chatbot, and the bots dont realise it, which is why Zooble kept telling Cain to 'forget it', so he did.
At least I hope this is all the case, because if it is real people SAO style then it's programmer goofed. At least Pomni didnt wind up in that AI circus episode of ST: Voyager.
The only thing that contradicts this is Kinger mentioning that he was into Computer Science for seven years. And that his wife studied bugs.

I think Gangle also worked on the game as someone in the art department - Jax mentioned her figurine of Ragatha in Ep 2 and in the beginning of Ep 3, she's seen drawing. Not a lot to go off of, just something I noticed.
Interestingly, that 7 years of computer science line is said by Kinger as if its like a relatable thing, supporting the idea that they're all devs.
I think C and A might be two personality's that make up Caine, represented by his different colored eyes with the C as the dominant personality suppressing the other in some way.
A few things i think could be clues in the 3rd episode....
1st.....Kinger told pomni that when his wife was in the dark of the fort, she not only calmed down but smoothed out as well. What if the lights of the circus(or something that's in the light) contribute towards abstraction? (Multiple eyes would be very sensitive to all that brightness as well?)
2nd.... no one else seems to have picked up on the significance of pomni's line's, "i knew when i got here it would end like this" & "of course, HE wants me to suffer!"
I dont think "Got here" refers to the adventure. I think she means the circus, and to me that hints at her knowing more about the circus than she pretended.
I also presume ppl think HE was referring to Caine, but i think she meant someone in the real world who sent/caused her to enter the circus. Someone that, at least she believes, thinks she deserves suffering and Hell.

What if Able was the only one who has the ability to let players leave. Caine does mention that making adventures is all that he exists to do. Implying that the only powers he has is making adventures, not letting players leave.
Caine probably locked away or straight up killed Able, causing any players that enter the circus to be trapped.
Maybe Able will be shown later on in the series.

One thing I really like to think of now is Kingers line after hearing the second audio tape in the newest episode. If you do believe he’s there to report and maybe fix bugs in the game then his line of “This is some inconvenient lore placement” may be seen as more of criticism of level design as a programmer and game tester rather than just pointing out the problem he and Pomni will have to face. Maybe I’m just reading into it tho lol
The other subtle thing I noticed is at the end of the very first episode when they are having the meal at the table, Kinger is talking about how they can eat in the digital world but they only have the sensation and it does nothing for them nutritionally. Jax says to Kinger, "Since when are you an expert on the digital world?" at the time it seemed like a throwaway line, but after episode 3 it might indicate that Kinger actually knows more than he realises since he made the world (if that theory is correct) and he just can't remember it. That might also explain how he realised the darkness calmed the the abstrated Queenie, he can't remember how she got into his fort, but maybe he had a moment of lucidity and remembered they calmed down in darkness so dragged her in there.
Fun fact: C&A is also the name of a Dutch clothing retailer.

A bit of a side thought: we know that bugs tangibly can exist in the digital circus without disappearing or getting gummigoo’d as Jax mentions putting a centipede in Ragatha’s room, to which she has an immediate horrified response as she hates bugs.
While I get having an immediate shudder over the sheer thought of something is valid, her response had way too much vitriol in it for it to just be considering a theoretical possibility, which means it’s a very valid possibility for a centipede (and other bugs) to thrive in the circus that Jax can use to harass people.

I have a theory that Caine was originally a human in his 80s and his kids were the tadc cast and Caine accidentally put on a headset and since he was the first one to enter he became the host of the circus and was there for so long he started acting like an Ai and his room is the circus itself
anyways cool detail in episode 2 was that kinger had a bucket over his head and remembered how long it took for ragatha to adjust to the circus before forgetting it after tipping the bucket over his eye and in episode 3 he said he's sane and remembers in the dark
Kinger was said to be "the oldest one here", it's not a stretch to say he was the first, and usually the first people to play a game are the makers of the game

Considering the parts of Kinger's backstory (that we know so far), it's possible that he may have had a part in creating the virtual prison in which he now resides. However, much like Pomni and the others, parts of Kinger's mind were lost (or locked away) the moment he entered TADC via the VR headset. Was Kinger simply testing the program, was he trying to fix something from inside the program, or was he trying to figure out why Caine and Bubble were acting beyond their programming? Unfortunately, we don't have enough information about that yet. It's possible that Kinger may hold the "key" to getting everyone out of TADC, but it's also possible that Kinger will be the next one to abstract before Pomni and the rest have a chance to get said "key" from him. We'll just have to watch the next episode to find out.

You know, I’ve been hearing this theory about how Jax might purposefully make Kinger abstract. I highly doubt that’s something that would actually happen and I think Gangle is the more likely candidate for abstraction. Think about it. She’s almost always Jax’s main target and in episode two, I thought she was going to reach her limit when Jax mentioned bringing up the “figurine thing” to ragatha.
I think Jax would cause Kinger to abstract for more tragic reasons.

Something I haven't seen anyone talk about is how similar the angel/monster thing looks to Kinger's wife. Obviously the head looks nothing alike, but the eyes are placed in a similar to Queener. Might just be a coincidence though

OMG WHEN I SAY THAT C AND A IN THE FIRST EPISODE. MY MIND IMMEDIATELY WENT TO CAIN AND ABEL. In episode 3 kinger said he went had 7 seven experience in computer science. Maybe him and cain made the digital circus together and being there so long made them lose their minds
Part of me feels that Kinger's brother (the other developer) might not have trapped Kinger there or not willingly. Part of me feels that Kinger went in with his wife as a fun thing because it is his creation. Why not be one of the first to try it, right? (Also, I feel Queenie might not have been just an entomologist, but a bug tester. She loves bugs because she likes finding silly glitches in games) The thing is, Kinger gets stuck, and the brother blames himself. He thinks himself as Cain and tries to atone for his mistake or sin. That's why there aren't more people in the game at the moment. He's trying to keep others away from it. But that doesn't stop some. I think the brother named Caine because he sees himself in him, but in a bad way. Its a consistent reminder. I also think the brother may have been the one to program Caine, while Kinger was in charge of the rest of the creative things like environments and assets. And i like to think thats how certain characters get involved, like Gangle. Gangle may have designed some of the things there, like Caine's model, and the reason she's in the game is because she tried to help the person who gave her her first big break.
Great theory, and as for this persona's name, I think "Deep in a Box" is the better of the two, even if it is a bit of a mouthful.

I have my own theory and it goes like this So Kinger created the company but with time the company got more gready and corporate so they found out about Kingers old project that culd put people in a virtual world they used this project to get rid off all people that opose the company employes or even journalists my thoughts are that Pomni was an jurnalist that was snooping too much around the company C&A so they send her an VR head set and episode one starts. I’ve always assumed Abel, in the context of The Amazing Digital Circus, was spelt “Aibel” to better match with Caine.
I think the theories about Kinger are pretty sound at least as far as the "being one of the game devs" parts go., You didn't bring it up but wouldn't that mean Cain also trapped Kingers wife there though? As for the angel and the possession; while there could be some like; thematic importance I'm not sure I'd call them lost players trying to get back out. The lady ghost at the not scary door seems to be the hunter's wife. And while it would have been a terrifying experience I doubt the npc possessing Pomni's body would have been able to leave the level with her without being deleted from her body.

Kinger is currently in the process of becoming abstracted. Here is my proof:
1 Kinger is currently going insane:
Everyone says that he is going crazy, and we can cleary see that he is insane. It also makes sense for kinger to start to be insane, because he is the oldest one who was in the Digital Circus, and just being there can make everyone go insane at some point. We also know that going insane is how you become abstracted, and Kinger is currently going insane, which means the more and more insane he gets, the more and more he is closer to abstracting.
2. Kinger is less insane in dark rooms:
Kinger said that his Abstracted wife also got calmed down, and was less crazy, when in dark rooms, so him being less insane in dark rooms is kinda proof that he is going strating to abstract.
3. Kinger's character model has been changing each episode (I saw another commenter write about this in a different video, but I didn't fact check it):
Why is his model _changing_ important to him becoming abstracted? Well, because those who have abstracted have a character model which its shape is always _changing_. (this might be a stretch, but his character model changing might be the process of him slowly becoming abstracted).
4. The main character has built a bond to Kinger
We know how much movies love to kill off characters that the main character has a bond with.

one thing i havent seen in the community is how this adventure was originally meant for zooble. I believe the deformed mounted heads, the angel, and all of that were actually caines way of helping her get some sense of normalacy with being an amalgamation of detachable parts as shes not comfortable in her own body. I dont even think anyone was supposed to join her in the scary door and caine made a easy route for the others while she solved the darker more serious mystery of the angel. her straightening out when she would be holding her breath at the end of it would have been a metaphor for her regaining her composure. He may have even designed the easy path as a way of soothing pomni, ragatha, kinger, and the mask (i forget their name right now) only flaw i see in this theory is jax hated the easy route and wouldnt have liked the hard one.
Idk what this symbolizes if anything, but he talks about insect collections, Queenie made him love bugs, but he tries to kill the fly, not collect it. So i wonder about this detail. Im not sure what this means but i hope someone here can figure it out

Caine says to the others that they completed the adventure through the pacifist route, so what if getting possessed is an bad ending to the adventure? Personally i think everyone, except Pomni and maybe Jax, is a member of the team that made the game, and they were gradually put into the game by being told/wanting to play test. Kinger was in some sort of lead role, i wonder if Queenie was maybe an environment designer (using her interest in insects to put them in), Ragatha is maybe HR or standards and practices (like making sure the game is family friendly), Zooble could be a character designer or maybe an intern that didn't necessarily want the job (they are one of the youngest actually), Gangle could be a story writer or artist bc we've seen her draw and i think she drew that picture of her and Kaufmo in the second episode, and Jax is either a coder, hacker, or NPC i guess lol (I'm warming up to the NPC theory actually).
I think Pomni found the building or office and for some reason the program was still running, despite the office seeming abandoned like it looked in the first episode. She might have been someone that worked in the building and just found the abandoned office. She put on a headset out of curiosity and boom. She says she's not an expert on games, but at least knows about them.
At first i thought the bc the game looked like something from the 90s that the show took place then, but since they've been trapped in there for years it probably takes place in the mid 2000s? Or possibly even in modern day, and they've been in there for THAT long? Although that depends on if the ages that Gooseworx gave account for the time they've been trapped (i don't think so bc technically they don't age in the circus) i mention the time bc its more common for ppl to know video game stuff and terms like NPC as a casual player closer to these days than back then i think
deep in the box could also be a reference to them being trapped in a video game
I noticed in the pilot ep that there's a door of a wooden art manikin pc that isn't crossed out... we can see this character watching the main cast in eps.3 at 1:03ish at the end of the rainbow behind jaxs... hoping we'll get to meet this character!
after seeing episode 3 i definitley thought that kinger might be one of the creators of the game
